Starting momentarily.
“Arachnids in the UK” screencaps are now up.
Hey, you know what's a great idea?
Sticking the most frightening picture of a spider the ep has to offer as the big cover image of the @tardiswiki page so peeps with Arachnophobia who are avoiding watching the episode and coming to the page to read the summary have to dodge it. I don’t have Arachnophobia but I know at least several Whovians who do have it and this would massively screw with all of them.
(I’ve pixelated it above so people with Arachnophobia can see and share it. Click here to see the page.)
Exclusive Publicity Photo from tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing's take on Doctor Who
(Yes, this pic is real.)
ROSA Screencaps are now up!
The Woman Who Fell To Earth and The Ghost Monument Screencaps are up!
Small update but there are some great caps here! Head on over to the gallery to see them now! :)
The Ghost Monument Barcodes
What is a barcode? Each pixel represents 1 second of footage, compressed horizontally (this is done by extracting every frame, compressing then to 1px wide, montaging them together then compressing that to 4%). A smoothened version is provided, where it has been compressed vertically to 1px and back out to 960px.
Why? For some, it’s because it looks really pretty. For others, it’s because it gives a fantastic visualisation of the colours used, for how long, where and its progression through an episode or movie. Colour can help define a character, set the mood and reflect on the drama by intensifying it.
(I also have barcodes for half of the Whoniverse so far!)
Another meme generator! This time from The Ghost Monument.

(Obligatory mention of my @whoniversegallery since that’s where it’s from)

PSA: PCJ's Discord countdown command is officially more accurate than the official countdown
Now that the Doctor Who preview clip is officially released, I figured I might as well mention that I made a meme generator for the "Smart Boy! Biology!" line a while back. Take a look here for some examples of how to use. (Blame Lucas from our Doctor Who Discord for the "boi" spelling, heh)
Go nuts! :)
50% Completion! Woah, that was unexpected!
I’ve just unexpectedly found out that the gallery has surpassed 50% completion for phase 1! So far, there are 1,656,478 screencaps (taken every half second) taking up 580gb, not including the additional downloadables feature, culminating from tens, if not hundreds, of man hours. Amazing!
(For early access, see my Patreon. Exact launch time is still unknown as I have lots of other more important things to deal with first.)
I know this has been incredibly slow (as in YEARS) and it's still private and unlaunched but I'm still ridiculously proud of this, especially at a time when everything else in my life is practically falling apart.
