Columbia Students Bring Out Mattresses To Support Senior Emma Sulkowicz’s Rape Survivor Project
A few weeks ago, this article about Emma Sulkowicz carrying her extra-long twin size mattress to every class, every day circulated Tumblr. This Friday, Columbia students have joined to support her and in this article, it says “Sulkowicz told The Huffington Post that students have frequently tried to help her carry her heavy mattress around campus. For the most part, she said, she’s only had to carry it alone when reporters followed her and asked for shots with Sulkowicz carrying it by herself.”
