The day in Sorciere was just winding down and Gabe was already finished with his due diligence for the day, as he had ushered the last of the class students out from the lecture halls. The place was slightly dimly lit, with the curtains pulled up as he preferred it that way, while he did his work of marking papers. It was a rather boring, dull task, but he had to do it anyways, as he heard the knock on the door. “Yes?” he asked. “Come in?”

petrichor was nervous . her hands rubbing together as she paced back and forth in the hallway just outside their office . a quick breath left her lips before her hand raised , fingers wrapping on hard wood . at the sound of their response she opened the door slowly , holding her hands in front of her as she spoke , lesser lip caught between her teeth .” sorry to interupt professor . i was just . . i was wondering if you had any extra credit assignments available . ” with everything that had been happening lately , she hardly wanted a second to pass that she wasn’t busy .

✧ * º • petrichors eyes widened , stepping closer into the room she began to ramble , paper help in hand . “ well . . i was wondering if it’d be possible for me to hand in my paper late ? um . . just be like 6 hours . it’s just that . . i won’t be on campus since my mom has her wedding & it’s not quite ready yet & well . . if not then i can totally just hand it in now ! but i just , um . . i know i can do better than this . or maybe i can email it to you instead of having a physical copy ? then i won’t have to hand it in late at all . . or , i don’t know . ”

✧ * º • mouth half full with rainbow sherbert , petrichor put a hand to her chest , shaking her head . after swallowing she quickly retorted , “ are YOU kidding , i don’t hate vanilla , but it’s totally not the best ice cream out there . not even top ten on deserts . ”

✧ * º • her eyes moved from the empty glass she’d put down to his reddened cheeks . hand raising , she almost unconsciously placed a hand on the heated skin , smiling widely , “ what time is better than the present ? ” she asked , before waving her hand towards the bartender and asking for a shot of tequila , simultaneously sliding her debit card to them to close them out , besides , she wasn’t sure if she’d have the confidence to do it without it . “ my place , your place , whichever . but i have a roommate . ”

He was already effected by her being so close to him, but as she wiggled around to adjust herself, Jack couldn’t help but stiffen as she all but rubbed herself against her. In all the right places it would seem, since he could feel his pants tighten even more then they had been before. Jack had been able to ignore it but now it was getting almost painful, and he didn’t want to be rude to push to woman off or something. He cleared his throat. “You don’t need to have a look for it. Sometimes you just are sexy. And I happen to think you are. Sexy I mean.” Damn, he couldn’t even pay a woman a compliment without stuttering.

✧ * º • she’d been entirely too concentrated on his eyes , her mind could hardly process what they were saying . & had it not been for the tequila coloring her cheeks rose , she was sure they’d been pink by now . “ really ? well , if you think i’m so sexy , will you take pictures on me ? ” she asked innocently , bringing the straw to her lips as she finished off the drink , putting the glass back on the bar as she spoke oh so casually , “ i’ve always wanted to pose naked . ” she finished , a mischievous grin appearing in place of the last .

✧ * º • “ oh totally . everyone likes to have a good candid of themselves , & i don’t mind taking them so . . ! ” she shrugged , her eyes observed him for a moment , finger reaching out an tapping to tip of their nose as she laughed , “ i’ve never really been the modeling type . a little too clumsy for it . & i could never QUITE pull off the sexy smoldering look , ya know ? ” considering she wasn’t the best at hiding expressions on her face , almost always there had been SOME trace of a smile or grin on her lips . she attempted to adjust herself on the seat , properly sitting across his lap , one arm wrapped around their shoulders to keep her balanced .

✧ * º • her mind recalled the dozens of photos she had taped around her dorm , mostly scenery & the sky , but she’d always been easily inspired, especially by nature . smiling bashfully at his words , her shoulder raised to meet her cheek . “ oh , not really . i’m usually on the other side of the camera taking pictures of everyone else . ” she admitted , before hearing her own words , “ not that i mind it ! but it’s be different to be on the other side of it all . ”

The image which his head conjured making him blush and avert his gaze which moved to inspect the glass he was holding before he took another sip. He cleared his throat before speaking. “Well I am good at graphic designing.” He said with an sheepish smile.

✧ * º • “ there ya’ go ! that’s ONE thing , i’m sure we can find something else . ” petrichor said , clapping her hands once before linking them under her chin . “ do you ever take any photos yourself ? ” she asked curiously before drinking from her glass through the straw , the sweet taste of the orange juice almost comletely covering the sharp taste of the tequila .

No one has actually told me what I’m good at. And I’ve never figured it out myself. What’re you good at? Aside from talking.” He gave her a teasing smile.

Ajani feeling a bit stressed out since the protest, and he was left with all kinds of nervous energy as a result, he just needed to get out. Aggression and fighting were one of the few things he figured would help at the moment. He liked to take time to himself, spell a training dummy to fight back, and throw all the offensive magic he could manage at it.

As he realized he wasn’t alone, he decided to finish it off. The tattoos across his body glowed as he pummeled the dummy before finally driving a flaming fist through the head, burning it off as it collapsed in on itself.

“Oh, hey there, you need this?” he asked, pointing at the dummy.

✧ * º • she didn’t tend to wander into the training room when she was worried , almost always preferring to bury herself in a book instead . just as she HAD been doing , until she realized that she really should try to get out of her room , at least for a little bit .

at the others words , she snapped out of whatever haze she’d been in . “ oh - no . maybe ? i’m not sure . ” she said , her eyebrows knitted together for a moment before she began to ramble , “ i mean . . no . i’mfine , sorry i just - wanted to get out for a while . you can keep going , or don’t , or um ,i can leave . ”
