Hey guys, we hate to be the bearer of bad news but instead of prolonging the inevitable we’ll just come out and say it. Us mods have decided that the best course of action to take BoF right now is to close it down. In between our personal lives and other commitments, we haven’t been able to give as much time and focus on the group as we’d have liked.

However that being said, we are planning to revamp Blood Over Faction to reopen at a later date. We’ve already been mulling over fresh ideas we can throw into the mix and I can tell you now that we’re all already extremely excited about it.

Our decision to revamp came from the fact that two of our mods have been swamped with college and personal life, and our other mod won’t be available towards the next coming months. This just seemed to be the best course of action for us right now, and we do apologise for being so abrupt with this matter.

As a side note, just because we’re closing doesn’t mean you guys have to stop roleplaying with each other. If you wanted to continue using these characters for fun by all means go ahead, after all we know how close our little family had gotten in such a short time.

For the time being we’ll throw up where you can find us if you wanted to stay in contact with us in the OOC blog, and we welcome you all to do the same if you felt so inclined.

And last but not least, we’d like to thank each and every one of our members that have stuck with us; that have made this as enjoyable as we had hoped it to be, and just for making it an awesome group to be a part of. We couldn’t have gotten this far without such dedicated members and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better group of people<3

She smiled. Getting things from the kitchen was no easy feat, as she’d learned with Jackson recently. “Definitely not lame. Trust me, if I wasn’t Dauntless, that’d be my first pick, too. Besides,” she said, leading the way, “I owe you. Big time.”

Matt smiled. It was nice to see Allison again. Smiling, happy and healthy. He had been worried about her and just came to check on her, but maybe, maybe she was a nice friend. "Yeah, you know what?" He winked. "Bring a piece for yourself too." He smiled even brighter. "I guess celebrating that we're both alive is much more fun with two pieces."

"Well, then you’re more fortunate than me… Since my mother was who she was, we always had people around our house, doing stuff for us.. I made snacks for myself, of course, but I’ve never really cooked lunch or dinner before.." Eleanora blushed. "And whenever I did have the opportunity to cook, something would always happen or.. for some odd reason, my mother would insist on doing it instead. She rarely got to ‘take care of me’ she said.. I’ve been really spoiled the majority of my life.. but I trust you and your judgement. If you say you can cook, you can cook..” she smiled at him and tried to keep herself from laughing. She found this fact about her to be somewhat sad too. She was domestically useless. “Maybe you could teach me some things?”

"Not at all, tomorrow sounds great. Just give me a time and a place and I’ll be there," she giggled softly. "Lessons.. that’s impressive, actually.. I’m pretty convinced that I’ll never really be able to play an instrument.. I can only play one song on the piano, and even then.. my fingers stumble over the keys. But music is nice.. I think you should play something for me tomorrow evening.. what do you think?" she flashed her pearly whites. She blushed even deeper. "No, Matt, seriously.. if I start rambling.. just tell me and I’ll stop.. it’s embarrassing," she replied and averted her eyes from his. "Yeah, I’ll tell you all about it.. I don’t think you’ll find it very interesting at all but.."

Matt smiled at her. He had to admit that he would have loved to live her life. That he would have a loved a mother that would insist on cooking herself. That he would have loved people taking care of him. Yes, he knew how to cook, but only because he had to learn it all by himself. There had no-one been there to help him, there had no-one be there to teach him, there had no-one been there to punish him when it went wrong. "I'm sure you'll learn it soon." He swallowed. "I'm gonna teach you everything you want to know, okay?"

He thought about her question for a while. Should he ask her to come to Amity? But with the killings and the explosion that could mean something would happen. What kind of date would he be if he would let that happen? "I could pick you up at Erudite after my practise?" He shrugged his shoulders. He had never really been in Erudite before, but he was sure that would be some place he could pick her up.

"But I'm not gonna play a song for you." His cheeks started to blush. "You know, I'd love to, but..." He looked up at her with a smirt on his face. "I only knew two chords." He gently brushed her shoulders. "I guess you're better on that piano than I am on my guitar."

He paused for a moment. He didn't care what she would talk about tomorrow. It was nice to listen to her, nice to be with her. She could ramble as much as she wanted and everything would be interesting. "I still wanna know all about it."

She was falling and then she wasn’t - she was falling and then he caught her. She could hear him but it was far away and none of it made any snese. Slippery thoughts, cotton mouth, pounding skull. “Almost there”? Almost where? Were they going somewhere? Home? Yeah, home. Which meant that right now she was…where? The train?

Shit.

The train.

She could feel their speed decreasing bit by bit. That meant that they were nearing the residential area. Amity would be able to handle that, right? She hoped so. And as for herself, well…she tried to sit up but immediately fell back against him. She swallowed the last bit of pride she had and decided to trust him. What other choice did she have?

For a short moment Matt panicked. The train was slowing down and although he had never travelend by train, he kinda knew what it meant. They were almost there. They were almost at Dauntless and the girl was still unable to stand, let alone jump out of a train.

He had no idea what would happen if they couldn't get out of the train, but he'd rather not take the risk. What would Dauntless do? He had never really thought about that. He had never been Dauntless. He had never even thought about becoming it. But he was Amity and Amity meant making sure that someone else was happy, that someone else was safe. 

He looked around and eventually took of his Jacket, grabbing the girls hands. "I'm sorry..." He whispered. This wouldn't be very pleasant, but he couldn't risk her letting go. "Just in case you can't hold on, okay?" He bound them together and checked if the knot would hold it. He didn't know if it would hold for long, but that wasn't important, as long as it would hold. 

He smiled. For the first time it was a good thing that he was a football-jock. He was well trained. Maybe not as strong as some Dauntless members, but strong enough to carry her weight. He grabbed her arms and wrapped them around her neck, lifting the girl on his back. It was heavy and for a moment he had trouble breathing, but he took a deep breath and opened the door.

The Dauntless compound was almost there. He could see it. Just like the gap between the platform and the building. "Damn...I hope I won't get both of us killed." He closed his eyes for a short moment and waited. When he opened them again he did what he could. He walked to the back of the train and started running. As fast as he could with her weight on her back. 

Eventually he jumped, he didn't know if he would make it, but he jumped and his arms grabbed the girl on his back before he hit the ground. He couldn't catch himself and he fall down, a sharp pain going through his wrist and the stones scratching his face. They made it. They really made it.

He ignored the pain and freed the girl from his back before lifting her up. "What do I do now?" He hoped that she'd hear him. She was almost home. But almost wasn't home.

Kira and Matt - "Where you come from"

"Of course," she was interested in seeing how well the boys played together. It was strange to see Stefan with them, to see Matt alongside his Dauntless team members. Did faction matter when they practiced? Or did they leave it in the locker room? 

"Other factions always forget about the factionless," she shrugged, it was a fact she’d learned to accept. They were all selfish in that way. "At least they have a seat on the council." 

"You don’t need to," she offered, not wanting to make him feel as though she wanted him to step into an uncomfortable situation.

“I care.” He whispered softly and leaned on his elbows. “I mean, in Amity we’re not really taking care of the factionless or something, but...” He paused for a short moment and leaned back again. “I still care.” He turned his head towards her. “You know, what’s the worth of that unity-thing if they’re still excluded from everything?”

He thought about Cora. How she should have been here, at school. How she should be in his class, how she should be smiling and laughing. How he should tease her with her extreme condition and sporting skills. He drifted away from the subject of his paper and he knew that, but what was the use of those papers if no-one asked about the factionless.

“Is there something in Abnegation you don’t like?” He tried to return to the topic but knew that he was failing hopelessly. If everything was still the same as it used to be, Kira wouldn’t say anything. It’s selfish to point out things you would want to change.

Derek’s eyes narrowed as he looked the young man over. He didn’t seem to be a threat at all and he appeared to be genuinely concerned. He wasn’t exactly prepared to lower his guard but perhaps he could give the kid the benefit of the doubt. Not everyone in this god forsaken place had ulterior motives; a fact he had to remind himself daily. 

"She’s been around just caught up with some things, you know how it gets." He said with a light smile. "I can let her know you’re looking for her?" Hale asked whilst taking a step closer, bridging the gap between them. "I’m Derek. Derek Hale." He offered the introduction whilst holding out his hand. Leaving it up to the other to decide whether he’d want to shake it or not.

"O...." Matt stuttered a little bit and hid his hands in his pockets. "Yeah, I seem to forget she's a council member." He bent his head. He should have known that Rebekah was probably busy with important stuff. He was just a studen after all, just a young boy that had next to no influence. He could try to be a friend, but that didn't give the factionless more chance to become a part of this city. A counting part.

"It's okay." He shrugged his shoulders. "I guess she'll show up again when she wants to." He forced himself to smile and shook the hand of the young man in front of him. "I'm Matt." He still never used his last name. Not that people weren't allowed to know his last name. He just didn't feel like he was a Donovan. He didn't know if he wanted to be a Donovan.
