you’ve got the bab on your hip n he’s happily playing with your hair n various items of clothing like your necklace, shirt etc etc

jinyoung’s pushing the shopping cart along, listening and grabbing the stuff the two of you need as you tell him what’s on the shopping list

you’re so focused on keeping the bab safely in your arm n reading out the list that you didn’t notice that your aunt up until she excitedly calls-

“oh y/n is that you?? i haven’t seen you in so long!!!!!”

you jump out of your skin n drop the shopping list n you look at her like a deer in headlights like !!!!!!!

then your aunt sees the child in your arms and looks disapproving for a split second until she notices jinyoung

who had noticed you had stop talking so he turned around and went back over, not noticing your aunt and picking up the shopping list and is just like hey you dropped the shopping list what’s-

your aunt looks full to the brim with excitement and pleased as pudding

jinyoung now also looks like a deer in headlights, frozen with the shopping list in his hand like ¿!?!¿!?!!

you’re both just stood there speechless n in shock as your aunt continues to shrill on with excitement

you snap out of it when she finally says goodbye, pressing a kiss on each of your cheeks and gently pinching baby peach’s cheek who just giggles happily at the attention while jinyoung is like what????? just happened n you’re just like idk man i don’t understand her half the time

before either of you say anything else lil baby peach notices the fruit section of the grocery store and starts a chant for peaches and only stops when you hand him a peach to hold on to lmao

the incident totally slips your mind n neither of you bother to mention it again bc it’s not that big of a deal

uuuuuuuuup until you get an invitation to your aunt’s birthday celebration n she’s written that she wants you and ‘family’ there

you don’t know what do you bc you can’t exactly say no

it’s safe to say jinyoung is alarmed when you knock on his door and say wE HaVE A n ISS UE n show him the invitation

queue being sat on his couch running through possible plans whilst sweet baby peach is obliviously playing with building blocks on the carpet

after a while of thinking jinyoung just looks up at you and you,,,,,,you’re looking so nervous about the invitation in his hand and he just takes a deep breath and is like maybe,,,,,,,,we could go???? and just pretend-

but you’re already interrupting him like bU T jInyOUnG ALL of mY FAMILY will Be There and,,,,,would they even believe us!!!!!

jinyoung looks taken aback for a second bc AHEM I AM AN ACTOR Y/N OF COURSE THEY’LL BELIEVE US,,,,,unless,,,,,,,,you find the idea of being married to me unappeal-

when he’s not teasing you’re both practicing to be a married couple lol

neither of you mention it but “married” life is actually,,,,,,,not that different from how you and jinyoung are everyday now you just do the lil errands w/ each other and learn each other’s tiny habits

like you notice when you’re walking with him and he’s holding the bab occasionally he does these like lil touches and glances to make sure the bab is okay and soon enough he starts doing it to you too and if you end up walking through a crowded area he holds the bab a lil more securely and reaches out to gently put a hand on the small of your back to make sure you don’t get separated

you’re p sure he doesn’t even know he’s doing it but you find it ENDEARING AS HELL

he actually finds that there’s a lot about you that he actually adores??? like wow??? you get on so well with his bab n it’s clear that bby peach really loves and trusts you????? have you always been so good w/ his bab?????? n wow you’re a p good cook????????? was your smile always this bright and beautiful?????????? why didn’t he notice this before???????????????

hoo boy he’s got it bad but he doesn’t even kno it

realisation only slaps him in the face when he pulls up outside your aunt’s place and you put your hand over his and he looks over to you, he can see the nervousness in your eyes but you just thank him for doing this for you and before he can react you’re leaning forward to press the softest kiss to his cheek

jinyoung freezes and a soft pink blush dusts his cheeks and he feels like he’s in goddamn highschool again as he touches the spot where you kissed while you’re already getting baby peach out of the car

he snaps out of it soon enough and is like @ his own heart, DoNT YOU DARE FLUTTER IT’S NOT THAT DEEP

but then he’s inside with your family who quickly warm up to him and baby peach is wriggling in his arms to be put down so he can toddle off and play with the other toddlers in your family

then when the baby’s gone all eyes turn to you and jinyoung and just by instinct you reach out and hold jinyoung’s hand who only smiles warmly at you(inside he’s screaming) and answers any questions that are thrown his way, playing his part as your “husband” well but deep down he can’t help but want to be something more for you other than your neighbour

(your mom’s also there she’s just in the corner w/ your dad being like HONEY LOOK THEY’RE FINALLY TOGETHER!! HOW CUTE!!!! and your dad’s like yes dear that’s great you also owe me fifty bucks bc you thought they wouldn’t get together until new years)

and the more jinyoung answers questions about your “relationship” and what he loves about you the more he realises that he has got it b a d

tho he quickly knows he’s not the only one who’s catching feelings bc he sees the shy sincerity in your eyes as you answer questions about him and he sees how much you subconsciously like being closer to him and even just to test his theory he wraps his arm around your waist and you just relax and lean into his touch and he’s like !!!!!!!!

but before he can do anything more he hears his precious baby cry and he’s immediately filled with dread

you manage to move faster than he does bc you know the layout of your aunt’s place but you still hold onto his hand up until you find the tearful bab

turns out he just tripped over during a game of hide’n’seek and it wasn’t anything serious

jinyoung: *leans against the wall dramatically clutching his chest* this is it,,,,,tonight’s the night my heart will fail jfc……tell my son i love him-

you’re like lmao @ jinyoung and you quickly move over to the bab, managing to soothe him in SECONDS

the younger is,,,,,so shy…..cinnamon bun too pure for this world…..her older sister will fight anyone who remotely upsets her

don’t b fooled tho, under all that shyness she’s has the same kind of hyper energy her dad has, she’s just as loud as her sister n her dad when in private lmao

the house is left a Mess™ after playtime

jackson is the only one that can keep up w/ them during play time the other GOTDads have tried and failed lmao

jackson realised how much they take after him when the twins looked after a lil smol baby who fell over at the playground

even going up to jackson and asking for a bandaid to help out the bab

jackson, in tears, holding out a hello kitty bandaid: i’m,,,,,,,,so proud of my babies,,,,,,,,,,

they’re also both very affectionate girls, can be endearingly clingy with those they rlly like!!!

the older one rlly likes to bear hug people and give em a squeeze with a silly grin on her face also likes to hold hands or link arms, any kind of skinship

the younger is more of a snuggler like she’ll snuggle up into your arms and like rub her face against your shoulder or chest or something n she also likes to hold hands or just like holds the end of ur sleeve n follows you around

the first time she snuggled into jackson like this he almost started to cry

they’re a v active family, love to try new sports/foods/whatever together

once the twins were like “papa can we try ballet?” n u can bet ur butt that jackson went and found parent kid lessons and was right there w/ them and they had a B L A S T

all the moms were lookin at him w/ straight up heart eyes

you meet the energetic trio bc the girls wanted to try out judo!!!

one of their friends told them about the sport n they were immediately like !!!sounds fun!!!! we wanna try!!!!

so ofc on one of his less busy days papa jackson takes them to get lessons n they get to meet u!

you’re one of the kids judo instructor n you look like the most unassuming person in the world surrounded by all this kids in judo uniforms n teaching them with a gentle and helpful voice

on the down low jackson’s scoping the place out to see what the general atmosphere is like n if his girls would fit in well

but all of his worries dissolve when you happily greet the twins with open arms n cheerful attitude, introducing them to the rest of the class who happily greet the two girls

he takes a seat on one of the benches n watches as you catch the twins up on the basics of judo like how to fall safely n where to grip the uniform n such

a small prideful grin appears on his face when he hears you compliment them on how fast they’re learning!!! bc yes!!!! those are his babies!!!!!!!

in no time the two are caught up n are getting into the rhythm of it n jacks can tell that the two really like the sport!!!! (n you lol)

at the end of the glass both girls bound up to him happily chattering about what they learnt

so the girls eventually coming to your classes weekly n sometimes jackson stays n watches but other times he can’t but he knows that his babies would be okay in your hands

one day he’s a lil late picking them up from class n when he opens up the door (panting a bit bc he ran from his car) he sees you playing happily with the twins

the two lil girls are climbing all over you n you’re just laughin n letting them go at it, making sure neither of them are at risk of falling

jacks watches for a minute, smiling softly to himself and actually takes the time to look at you

n wowie how he hasn’t noticed you before he doesn’t know

however wang jiaer ain’t slick and yOU CATCH HIM LOWKEY CHECKIN YOU OUT

however to save face he pretends he just came in LOL

you giggle a bit and go with it, setting both the girls down gently so they can bound towards their dad

however when the trio leave you don’t miss the opportunity to wink at jackson who’s ears go red ehehehehe

after that i’m not sayin that when jackson drops off his girls he arrives a lil earlier to your classes to speak to you a lil bit buT THAT’S IT THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT HE DOES

the first time he does this you’re just sat there innocently eating your lunch between classes as you usually do when you suddenly hear the twins’ voices loudly yell “Y/N!!!!”

ofc you don’t expect it so they end up scaring you so bad yOU START TO KIND OF CHOKE ON UR FOOD

immediately jackson’s like oHMYGOD OH NO HERE I CAN HELP-

but u recover quickly but turn BRIGHT red bc you made yourself look like a dingus IN FRONT OF THIS RIDICULOUSLY HANDSOME AND NICE MAN

after that tho you get used to it lololol you even start to bring like extra apple slices or grapes for the girls lmao with the excuse of it’s important to eat bc you need the energy to do judo

n after a while u get the feel that he wants to ask you out

but like he doesn’t wanna ask you out bc you must’ve had that from parents before so he doesn’t wanna make it,,,…weird

BUT HE DOES REALLY WANNA ASK YOU OUT

honestly you want him to ask you out like goddamnit DO I HAVE TO WRITE A SIGN LIKE  A S K  M E  O U T  A L R E A D Y

n like you don’t wanna ask him out bc he’s a freakin IDOL LIKE HAVING HIM TALK TO U IN THE MORNINGS LEAVES YOU SHOCKED ENOUGH HOW IN THE HECK ARE U SUPPOSED TO JUST ASK HIM OUT

plus you don’t wanna chase him or his girls away

they’re lowkey your fave students lol

it’s painful for both sides honestly

however the girls unknowingly help u struggling adults out

n you’re a lil like shocked bc wow these girls are so considerate?????? but also ur like shhhhh omg ur dad might hear i don’t want him to worry—

TOO LATE he’s already touching your shoulder like hey,,,, what’s wrong why aren’t you eating??

n you’re like i’m fine!!!! and he’s just goes are u sure u kno u can tell me anything-

u just turn red n you’re like i’M FINE I PROMISE!!!! ,,,,,it’s just i have a judo tournament tomorrow and that’s when the final weigh in is so,,,,,,,, i’ve gotta watch what i eat today!!!! i’ll be eating properly afterwards before the tournament tho don’t worry!

the lil girls are immediately like :o !!!!! A TOURNAMENT THAT’S SO COOL CAN WE COME AND WATCH YOU AND CHEER?

n low-key you’re nervous not for the tournament bc you’ve done lots of tournaments but bc you’ve never spent time with any of the people in your class outside of, y’know…class n you’ve never had the pleasure of meeting a family that’s as delightful as jackson n his girls

ur friends weren’t any help they just like slapped ur back n was like GO GET ‘EM TIGER WE BELIEVE IN U

turns out ur nervous for nothing bc as soon as you’re with them you just naturally slip into the dynamic you have at class but this time you don’t have a time limit or other kids grabbing ur attention n needing your help

it’s cute like you n jacks taking care of the twins like wiping their mouths when they eat too messily and refilling their bowls with ramen and they’re excited and asking questions and ur answering and u don’t realise but jacks is listening too n he’s to so entranced w/ you lmao
