Charlotte peers up at the green haired ninja in mild surprise, having not heard him approach at all (as ninjas do). She relaxes enough to flash a sweet smile and cozies on up over to Kaze, letting her shoulder brush against his own. He was sweet, and very observant of course, but she figured a try like this wouldn’t hurt.

“Are you saying you came here to be miserable? That’s rather sad to hear..but I’m glad you’re having fun~ Would you like to have some more fun? Perhaps with a dance?” 

She flutters her lashes as doe-like as she could.

The viridian knight pauses at what Yen’fay says and pauses to look down at the pale haired man..then down to himself. He was simply dressed down from his usual armor into the soften gotten slacks and tunic beneath it. So it’s with a bashful laugh and a flash of a smile that he reassures the swordsman-

“If YOU’RE underdressed, I think it’s only a matter of time until someone mistakens me for a hobo then. You look lovely, Yen’fay..thank you again for asking me to this.”

At first she thinking it might be someone else that asks that question from behind her. And she turns, perhaps expecting anyone but him if the rate at which her face falls means anything. Charlotte clicks her tongue lightly and glances off with a pout of sorts.

“Funny. And you probably think i don’t have one, but you’d be wrong there too. They’re right here.” And she gestures to the silver flowers that still sit atop her head in a circlet.

“Need a break?”

“Is there anyone you want to dance with?”

“I’m happy for the two of you.”

“The food is GREAT-”

“Do I know you?”

“I’m enjoying this more than I thought I would.”

“Nobody’s dancing with me.”

“Sure I can’t change your mind?”

“They’re taking donations in Flana’s memory.”

“Who do you think won the egg hunt?”

“Somebody’s spiked the punch.”

“Do you think ___ would want to dance with me?”

“Not really my style of music.”

“How long do you think before the musicians go on break?”

“Did you see Lady Emmeryn arrive with Khan Basilio?”

“Did you see Prince Chrom arrive with his tactician, Robin?”

“Oh, those flowers are so beautiful! What do they mean?”

“You didn’t get a flower crown? We have to fix that right away.”

“Do you want to wear a flower crown to the dance?”

“May I have this dance?”

“Did you come stag?”

“Where’s your date?”

“Look, the tournament competitors are still wearing their favors.”

“The champions look great in their golden crowns.”

“I think the silver crowns look better.”

“Want to get something to drink before we dance?”

" i'm certain you have a dozen suitors at your call today, miss charlotte, but might you indulge me with a dance or two at the least? " laslow smiles, the decorations of his costume ringing as he offers a hand to her.

The circlet wearing woman pauses and slowly raises an eyebrow. Blue scan over the hand and shortly after she lets her lips curl into a pleased little smile as she reaches her’s out as well to curl into his palm.

“Sadly, no one besides you has approached me. But, I’ll gladly dance with you, especially when you’re all dressed up so nicely like that..I’m actually kinda jealous. You’re showing more skin than I am.”

All of those places made no recollection in her mind, no matter how hard she searched for it. So she sadly gives a little snake of her head, ponytail swaying a small bit in turn. The green haired woman blinked when he peers closer but doesn’t avert herself, nor her own gaze.

“I’m sorry, i don’t know those places..But I will take that as a compliment? Are they strong people? or..from what you’ve seen? if so I will definitely take that as a compliment!”

Blue eyes blink once and she brings a hand up to curl beneath her chin, a puzzled expression on her face.

“Well, I’m not sure what Asia is- But I come from the Sacean Plains. Perhaps you know something similar? Or was I mistaken for someone?..Maybe? Where are you from, if its alright to ask?”

Don't mind Suede running up behind Charlotte and picking her up, only to toss her in the air and catch her in his arms once more. And again! And again! He's laughing wildly, tail wagging way too excitedly as he smiles wide, catching Charlotte in his arms once again and simple just holding her this time. "What a fight! You did good, Char–lotte♪!"

The small blonde lets out a SHRIEK of a noise, almost elbowing the Garou in the nose before realizing who had hauled her up and fast ball pitched her into the air. 

When she comes back down and is just cradled in his arms, his stupidly strong arms, she brings a hand up to try and detangle her hair from beneath her silver crown. As her nails catch on a tangle she purses her lips, trying (and failing) to fight back a blush. 

“Hmp! Well, yeah. ‘course I did well! I’m a natural fighter you know..But, thank you, Suede…How did you even sneak up on me?”

"Charlotte, are you alright?" Laslow carefully offered her his hand, treating her with the utmost care. "If you're hurt, please, let me help. We can go get something to eat and drink after, and I'll buy you something nice, yes?" (@starcrossedsaccharine)

Charlotte peers curiously at the retainer, as if making sure he’s not suffering from braindamage. He ..had seen her other fights, right? She wasn’t the little pure lily he tried to portray herself as. All the same, she takes his hand and hauls herself closer to him.

“Lazlow…You’re..a weirdo.” She said it bluntly, but a smile grows over her lips soon enough.

“But you’re also very sweet. I’m fine, just a bit bruised..better than a broken rib anyways. Thank you. Even though I didn’t win with your favor, I still appreciate it.”

“ sir stahl? if i may steal a moment before the matches begin? “ there’s a soft tug on the cavalier’s wrist, though he quickly removes his hand and pulls away, clearing his throat. “ do you have a companion for the dance tomorrow, perchance? if you do not, i would like to.. inquire about perhaps being that companion. “

The olive haired knight is stunned silent at those words. He is even gaping a small bit but he finds himself popping his mouth closed with a little click when his teeth meet. 

A Flush breaks out over his cheeks and he stutters over his words as he tries to answer the invite to the ball.

“I- you..You want me to go to the Ball with you? I..Oh! I, well i didn’t think you’d really ever notice or ask or anything- But yes! Oh, i mean-” He clears his throat and reaches out with a sheepish smile to take Yen’fay’s hand a bit, used to the sort of contact more than the swordsman may have been.

“I’d love to be your date to the ball!”
