i used to be in the boboiboy fandom but now i just want out bcs honestly the community fucking sucks.

big stans for this fucking fandom are in a delusion where the fandom is like a safe heaven bcs its all nice and "respectful" but in reality its just toxic positivity. The fandom just tries so hard to make it such a safe space to the point where u cant have any negative opinions about the show or the fandom like ever. Event tho its a completely fine thing to have different opinions but ppl take it the wrong way to say that its shitting on a show or were demanding things from the creators.

Ngl its mostly bcs how the fandom tries so hard to be kiss ass to monsta for whetherver reason. Sure its kidda fun having the creators being inclusive in the community itself but its to the point where some people take it too far to care about the feelings of a COMPANY.

I think it originated from the fanimonsta server. For the studio itself they have a set of rules for the employees to abide to. (strictly for employees) which is no shipping the characters what so ever. No nsfw/gore. Mostly need to be family friendly.

Which is totally fine for them to do cuz yeah its for the company. But those rules has somehore ingrained with the boboiboy fandom. Bcs in the fanni server they basicly use the same set of rules, I can understand for a server that consist alot of monstaff the rules make sense. HOWEVER, bcs how big the fanimonsta server influence has on the fandom, alot of fans took those rules outside of the server as well. Even tho they sayyyy its fine if u post ships outside the server for some reason it just feels wrong to post ships? or admit your posting ships?. I've felt like whenever i draw ships and theyre in a slightly nsfw situation it feels like a lot ppl are judging you in the fandom when the post gets blew up. Bcs then you feel paranoid of the creators of the show would look at your art, and ppl talk behind your back.

Thats another thing too when monstaff are so in the circle of the community, you feel like theres no privacy to actually post or talk about fandom stuff. Even if your a small acc with no following, you post and negative opinion, suddenly everyone knows about it. Even the staffs knows about despite not using any sort of tags. It feels so restrictive when your too scared to even open up a fandom talk when large pair of eyes just stalks ur every move. Bcs then those big people/ monstaff would actually give a shit about ur own opinion. Taking it as an insult rather just taking the critism with grace.

The fandom is not a fandom. Its just an extension of monsta the studio. Bcs unkowingly the studio actually controls on how the fandom is like. amd the fans are the ones whos getting chock hold by them bcs they cant have a say on anything or post what they really want to bcs of this weird cult like behaviors with the fans where they think bbb is perfect.

Thats why i hate being in this community. Despite actually enjoying the show and characters, i just cant have a fun in a community that cares so much about what a company fucking wants.

Just don't ship children what's wrong with that? Also its a kids show, and when people theorize and think about it too deeply as if its something dramatic. But its a kids show so family friendly and shallow plot is normal.

I'm not meaning to be passive aggressive but just don't ship children. Its morally wrong if you can agree that Killua x Gon shouldn't exist then. I don't really get your point here?

You can think of how to make things realistic if you want but its a kids cartoon and generally just don't think too much about it.

I know you're talking about how Monsta is fandom manipulating and all that but its just morally wrong and when people comply to that its suppose to be a good thing.

Usually toxic fans appear and are considered toxic because they don't listen to the creator's boundaries, so I don't get what's so bad.

Your understanding my point wrong here. Im not saying monsta should cater to our demands. Im saying that us fans DO NOT HAVE A SAFE PLACE TO TALK ABOUT OUR OWN OPINIONS/ POST ANYTHING WE WANT.

Heres the situation ultimately, a fandom should  place where you should be comfortable to post anything that you want to contribute within a fandom. The problem relies on these unspoken “fandom ethics” that has reinforced by boboiboy stans and doesn’t help that monsta pushes this idea on to us.

 See THIS is why fans hate giving out their own opinion. Its always the “boboiboy is a kids show” argument. Yes we understand it is a kid show but does that mean we still cant criticize a show? We still enjoy watching it but we can still give out our opinions but for some reason the fandom does not let you give out any negative comments. If you disagree on our opinions on the writing is weak, sure i respect that if you dont. But u know whats not cool? People giving us shit for having a different opinion than theirs. Fandoms are suppose to be a place where u can freely speak out ur thoughts on a show. And were not even being loud about it and yet if ONE person says smth bad about the show suddenly it blows up and ppl have different opinions about it. They try so hard to reinforce this idea where we shouldnt give any negative comments bcs then MONSTA STAFF would be upset. 

How is it so hard to understand monsta is not a single entity. It is a cooperate business. It is not a person. It is a company and yet so many people cannot  distinguish that. If a whole business cant even handle a small group of ppl commenting on the show how exactly are they going to survive an international fan base? 

I’ve seen the official Boboiboy account actually blocking someone for criticizing bbbm2 was bad. Sure they use some harsh words but did that warrant an out right block? just bcs someone openly criticize the writing?? that just screams how unprofessional the staff can be if they cant even handle some negative feedback. 

Also bold to assume i actually ship the kids but why are you getting off on people shipping the kids? They are teens at this point and haven’t you seen teens dating? If its the issue of making them do nsfw stuff thats a whole other story. But not letting us ship at all? They are fictional characters and last time i saw a bunch of other fandoms are able to ship teens. The idea of a ship isnt at all sexual. Its just fun seeing them in a loving relationship and theres PLENTY of other shows that does shipping with kids. Miraculous lady bug is a show full of teens and have a weird love quadruple thing. Star vs also have a canon ship with marco/star. So I don’t understand your point of not able to ship kids.

What your commenting here really sounds like your restricting fans to just enjoy being within a fandom and sadly the points i listed out here, is based on personal/ other peoples experience. ALOT of fans left the fandom bcs they are not comfortable with the fandom space at all because how restricting it is.

So basically you know dreams right? A weird movie-like incarnation of your day-to-day memories that you even though as the vessel has no control over? (Not lucid dreams) . Well , unlike most I have the ability to control the plot line as I want but recently my "welp! this is weird , time for a new one!" Reflex have been slipping and yesterday while napping my dream somehow learnt Kanji made an entire anime that ended with me slitting an orphan's neck (I talked to his caretaker at the funeral) . That lasted for 10 minutes , when I stopped being endulged in the fact that the sword I used can't actually break wind my reflex finnally kicked in.
