The first soft notes of Fine Line drifted through Wembley, and the entire stadium seemed to fall into a hush.
Y/N stood in the pit between Anne and Gemma, her hands wrapped tightly around the barricade. She’d promised herself before the show that she’d keep it together. She knew this song. She knew what it did to her.
She only made it through the first verse.
A shaky breath escaped her, then another. Her vision blurred as tears spilled over before she could wipe them away. By the time Harry reached the chorus, she was crying so hard her shoulders trembled.
Gemma noticed first.
Without saying a word, she slipped an arm around Y/N’s shoulders, gently pulling her closer. Anne reached for her hand, rubbing comforting circles over her knuckles like she’d done countless times before.
“It’s okay, sweetheart,” Anne whispered, barely audible beneath the music. “Just let it out.”
Y/N nodded, trying to breathe, but every lyric hit somewhere deep inside her. The song wasn’t just beautiful—it unraveled her every single time. She buried her face against Gemma’s shoulder, quiet sobs turning into full, uncontrollable cries.
Neither Anne nor Gemma tried to stop her.
They simply held her.
Onstage, Harry stood beneath the warm golden lights, fingers moving effortlessly across his guitar. He’d played Fine Line hundreds of times.
But halfway through the song, something caught his eye.
His gaze drifted toward the pit.
He immediately recognized Anne’s floral blouse.
Then Gemma beside her.
And between them…
Y/N.
She was folded into them, tears streaming down her face as both his mum and sister held her close.
Harry’s fingers never stopped playing, but his heart squeezed painfully in his chest.
He knew.
He knew exactly why she was crying.
Every time she’d ever heard Fine Line, it had been the same. Quiet tears if they were alone. Full sobs if she let herself feel everything the song carried.
Seeing it from the stage was different.
Seeing Anne kiss the top of Y/N’s head while Gemma gently brushed her hair away from her face made him swallow hard.
For a split second, he had to blink a little longer than usual.
The lights hid the glassiness in his eyes.
He couldn’t walk over.
He couldn’t stop the show.
So instead, while still strumming his guitar, he looked at her for just a moment longer.
A silent I’ve got you.
Y/N happened to glance up through blurry eyes.
Their eyes met.
Harry gave the tiniest smile—soft, understanding, almost sad—and dipped his head ever so slightly before turning back toward the microphone.
It wasn’t much.
But it was enough.
Y/N pressed a hand over her mouth as fresh tears escaped, this time because she knew he’d seen her.
Gemma squeezed her tighter.
“He loves you,” she murmured with a gentle smile.
Anne nodded in agreement, keeping an arm around Y/N’s shoulders.
“He always notices.”
As the final chorus echoed through the stadium, Harry closed his eyes for a second, pouring every ounce of emotion into the last notes on his guitar.
When the song finally ended, seventy thousand people erupted into applause.
Harry looked down at the pit one more time.
Anne and Gemma were still holding Y/N, who was laughing softly through tear-streaked cheeks now, embarrassed by how much she’d cried.
Summary: During a flirty live interview, the host spends the entire segment openly teasing Harry and touching his arm a little too often. Y/N laughs it off at first, but Harry notices the shift in her mood immediately afterward. Back in the dressing room, he becomes determined to remind her exactly who he’s thinking about every second of the day.
A/N: Okay this was fun to write!! I had some writers block but seeing this commission come in with the summer pack promo (which is still live btw! click here!), I decided to just go with flow! "So, Harry, the question every fan wants to know, what is "American Girls" about? Did you fall in love with an American girl? Or are you still single?" The host asks, reaching out for his shoulder again.
Time slows, and hair lifts on the back of my neck. We haven't discussed what we are yet. Don't overreact. Harry shifts in his wooden chair, it creaks softly. He leans away from the host, Madison, giving her his practiced smile. He turns slowly, glancing over at me. He looks straight into my eyes, his gaze glinting with unease and something else. Mischief. He fiddles with his big, golden ring.
Madison follows his gaze, but doesn't spare me a glance. Her cheeks flush visibly and she flutters her lashes. I nod towards her, trying to get Harry to focus on the interview and that stupid question. My heart hammers in my chest and suddenly I don't know what I'm more afraid of : Harry saying he's single or saying he's in a relationship and breaking our bubble.
Harry coughs, his big hand coming up to his mouth to catch the sound. "The song is about...Uh..." He starts, "it's not about any girl in particular, if you look closely at the lyrics, it explores feelings of isolation."
Madison nods, leaning in closer. I glance away for a moment.
"Writing this song really made me take a closer look at my family and relationship goals." Harry says, his voice steady now. He looks over and grins. "And to answer the other part of your question, no, I'm not single."
The crowd gasps, a few die-hard fans scream loudly. There even is a girl at the back starting to cry. Madison's jaw practically hits the floor. Okay. This is good, right? Now everyone knows he's off limits and no one knows I'm the reason. I let out a shallow breath and clasp my hands together, trying to stop the shaking.
After a while, Madison picks up the pace again and fires a few more questions. But nothing that really matters comes up again. A good five minutes later the interview is done, and Harry waves the crowd goodbye. The moment he reaches me, his control fades. He grabs my wrist, leading me through the chaos backstage. The staff blurs together under the flashing lights. The heat coming off Harry's body matches my own burning desire. We stop in front of the dressing room; he wraps a heavy arm around my waist and pulls me flush against him.
He winks before opening the door and leading me into his dressing room. He pins me against the door, towering over me. His breath is warm against my neck. And I have to hold myself back from kissing him. Oh, what I'd do right now for a taste of his lips. He smells typically like Harry, a creamy vanilla combined with spice tobacco leaves. His fingers dig into my waist, so hard I'm sure it'll bruise tomorrow.
The space between us vanishes in a heartbeat. I don't even have time to breathe before his mouth crashes onto mine. It’s a collision of teeth and tongue, desperate and starving. I moan into his throat, my hands flying up to tangle in his curls, pulling him closer, trying to merge our skin.
He breaks the kiss just an inch, his breath hot and ragged against my lips. "You thought I was playing along?" He growls, his voice a low, dangerous vibration that rattles my bones. "Watching her touch me... knowing you were standing right there, seeing it, feeling that little spark of jealousy?"
He doesn't wait for an answer. His hand slides from my waist, trailing a path of fire up my ribs before his fingers dig into my hip, hauling me upward. I instinctively wrap my legs around his waist, my back slamming against the hard wood of the door with a thud that echoes in the small room.
"I hated every second of it," he whispers, his lips grazing my earlobe, sending a shiver of pure electricity down my spine. "I wanted to scream it. I wanted to tell the whole fucking world that I’m yours. That you’re the only one allowed to touch me like this."
His hand dives down, bunching up my clothes, his palm hot and rough against my thigh. He finds the dampness of my panties, pressing hard against my clit through the thin lace. I gasp, my head hitting the door behind me.
"You're so wet for me," he murmurs, a dark, triumphant smirk playing on his lips. "Did the thought of me lying for you get you this worked up? Or was it the way I looked at you?"
He doesn't give me time to answer. He rips his trousers down, the sound of the zipper a sharp, violent punctuation to the silence. He’s hard and when he presses himself against me, I feel the sheer size of him through the fabric. He guides himself to my entrance, the broad head of his cock rubbing against my slick folds, teasing me, driving me insane.
"Please," I whimper, my fingers digging into his shoulders. "Harry, please."
"Please what, sweetheart?" he asks, his voice a velvety torture. He nuzzles into the crook of my neck, his teeth grazing my skin. "Tell me exactly what you want."
"I want you inside me. Now."
He doesn't need to be told twice. With one powerful thrust, he buries himself deep inside me.
I scream into his shoulder, my eyes fluttering shut as he fills me completely, stretching me open in a way that feels like a beautiful kind of ruin. He freezes for a second, his muscles locking, his chest heaving against mine.
"Fuck," he groans, a raw, guttural sound. "You feel so tight. So perfect."
He starts to move, and it's not gentle. This is a reminder. Every thrust is heavy, deliberate, slamming my body against the door in a rhythmic, punishing cadence. I can feel every ridge of him, every pulse of his heat. My breath comes in broken, shallow sobs, the sounds of our bodies colliding filling the dressing room.
He pulls back almost all the way, leaving me aching and empty for a heartbeat before driving back in with a force that makes me see stars. I’m clinging to him for dear life, my legs locked tight around his back, my world narrowing down to the scent of vanilla, tobacco, and the overwhelming smell of sex.
"Look at me," he commands, his voice strained.
I open my eyes, blinking through the haze of pleasure. His green eyes are dark, blown out with lust, staring into mine with a possessive intensity that consumes everything. He swallows my cries with another brutal kiss, his tongue fucking my mouth in time with his hips.
"You feel incredible," he growls against my lips, his voice ragged with effort. "I could do this all day. Fuck you against every wall in this room."
I whimper, my body clenching around him at the filthy promise in his words. He groans, his hips stuttering at the tightness. "Like that, do you?" he asks, a dark smirk in his voice. "You like it when I talk dirty to you?"
"Y-yes," I manage to choke out, my head spinning. He chuckles, a low, smug sound that vibrates through me.
"Good," he says, his voice dropping to a low, dangerous purr. "Because I'm just getting started."
He shifts his angle, hitting that spot inside me that makes my vision swim. I cry out, my body arching into his. He catches me, his strong arms wrapping around me, pinning me to him as he fucks into me with relentless, punishing strokes.
"You're mine," he growls, his voice possessive. "Mine to fuck, mine to claim. Mine to make scream my name."
I can't help it. I scream it, my voice echoing in the small room. "Harry!"
He grins, a feral, triumphant smile that sends a shiver down my spine. "Louder," he demands, his hips slamming into me with renewed vigor. "I want the whole fucking world to know who you belong to."
I scream again, louder this time, the sound ripped from my throat as he hits that spot again and again, driving me closer and closer to the edge. I can feel the tension coiling in my belly, my muscles tightening, my breath coming in short, sharp gasps.
"Come for me, sweetheart," he pants, his voice a low, insistent command. "Come on my cock. Let me feel you squeeze me."
His words tip me over the edge. I scream his name again, my body convulsing, my inner muscles clamping down around him as the orgasm rips through me. He groans, his hips stuttering, and I can feel him pulsing inside me, his hot release spilling into me in waves.
He collapses against me, his body heavy and spent, his face buried in my neck. We stay like that for a moment, our ragged breaths filling the silence, our hearts pounding in time.
"Fuck," he finally murmurs, his voice ragged. "That was... intense."
I smile, my fingers tracing patterns on his back. "I'm glad you enjoyed it," I tease.
He lifts his head, his green eyes dark and serious. "I didn't just enjoy it, sweetheart," he says, his voice steady. "I fucking loved it. And I loved making you scream my name. I love that you're mine. Only mine."
I pull back, my eyes searching his. "Can... can you scream my name too?" I ask, my voice barely above a whisper.
He smiles, a soft, warm smile that reaches his eyes. "With pleasure, sweetheart," he says. He takes a deep breath, and then, his voice loud and clear, he shouts, "Y/N!"
The sound echoes in the small room, a primal, possessive claim that makes my heart flutter. He leans in, his lips brushing against mine in a soft, tender kiss. "There," he murmurs. "I'm yours, just as much as you're mine," he whispers. "Don't ever forget it."
We step out of the dressing room a few minutes later. My hair is a disaster and my lips are red and swollen. I can still feel the ghost of him inside me, a heavy warmth that makes my thighs tremble with every step.
We spot Madison waiting in the hall. She looks at Harry, her eyes wide and desperate, scanning his messy clothes and his blown-out pupils. Harry doesn't let go of me. His hand stays locked on the small of my back, pulling me flush against his side.
As we brush past her, I lean in close. I make sure my voice is a low, smug purr right in her ear.
"I'm his American girl," I whisper. I don't stop to see the look on her face, but I hear Harry let out a dark, amused chuckle. He gives her a slow, devastating wink before he steers me toward the exit and out into the night.

Warnings none just Harry being jealous and protective
The wedding reception was in full swing. Fairy lights glowed overhead, glasses clinked together, and laughter echoed across the dance floor. Harry had been smiling all evening, catching up with old friends and celebrating one of his closest mates.
At least, he had been smiling.
From across the room, his eyes landed on you again.
You were laughing at something one of the groomsmen had said, your hand lightly resting on your champagne glass as he leaned in to tell another story. A few moments later, the band switched songs, and before Harry could make his way over, the groomsman was already offering you his hand.
You accepted with a polite smile.
Harry’s jaw tightened almost instantly.
His friends noticed the change before he even moved.
“Mate,” one of them chuckled, nudging him. “You’ve been staring over there for the last five minutes.”
“I’m not staring.”
“You definitely are.”
Harry let out a quiet sigh, running a hand through his hair. “He’s just…talking to her a lot.”
“Maybe because she’s nice?”
“Yeah,” Harry muttered. “She’s my nice.”
The teasing only made him roll his eyes harder.
Across the dance floor, you were still dancing, laughing as the upbeat song played. It wasn’t anything inappropriate—just a friendly dance—but Harry couldn’t ignore the way the groomsman seemed completely captivated by you.
When the song ended, Harry didn’t hesitate.
He crossed the room with calm, confident strides until he was standing beside you.
“There you are,” he said, smiling warmly at you before slipping an arm around your waist.
You looked up at him with a grin. “Hi.”
“I’ve been looking for you.”
The groomsman smiled politely. “She’s great company.”
Harry returned the smile, though it didn’t quite reach his eyes.
“She is.”
There was a brief silence before the groomsman excused himself to grab another drink.
The moment he was out of earshot, you turned to Harry with an amused expression.
“You’ve got that look.”
“What look?”
“The jealous one.”
“I’m not jealous.”
You raised an eyebrow.
“Okay,” he admitted after a second. “Maybe a little.”
“A little?”
“He asked you to dance twice.”
“It a wedding.”
“He laughed at everything you said.”
“You laugh at everything I say.”
“Exactly.” Harry gently squeezed your waist. “That’s my job.”
You couldn’t help laughing.
“You know I wasn’t flirting.”
“I know.” His voice softened immediately. “I trust you.”
He looked down for a moment before meeting your eyes again.
“I just don’t like seeing someone else trying so hard to get your attention.”
You reached up, fixing the collar of his suit jacket.
“You’ve already got it.”
His shoulders relaxed almost instantly.
“You sure?”
“I’m here with you, aren’t I?”
A small smile tugged at his lips.
“You are.”
“And besides,” you teased, “you’re much cuter when you aren’t glaring across a dance floor.”
“I wasn’t glaring.”
“You absolutely were.”
“I was…observing.”
“Right.”
He laughed quietly before pulling you a little closer.
“Would you dance with me?”
“I thought you’d never ask.”
As the slower song began to play, he guided you onto the dance floor, his hand resting gently against your back while yours settled on his shoulder.
“You know,” he murmured, “I’m probably being overprotective.”
“Probably.”
“But I can’t help it.”
You smiled, resting your head lightly against him.
“I don’t mind.”
Harry pressed a soft kiss to the top of your head, holding you just a little closer as the music carried the two of you through the rest of the evening.
For the first time since the reception had started, he finally stopped looking around the room.
Because the only person he wanted to pay attention to was already in his arms.

A/N: i don’t like this omg i just wanted to get something out while i work on a series
“Baby, I have to go,” Harry laughed against your mouth as you tried pulling him back down onto the bed.
He pressed a few quick kisses to your lips before pulling away and buttoning up his shirt that he finally found after throwing it carelessly last night. It ended up behind your hotel rooms tv somehow.
You and Harry have been seeing each other casually for a few months now, after being best friends (and band mates) for about three years. You never told him, but you’ve had feelings for him for the longest time. Since you were 17.
“Seriously, Y/N. They’re gonna notice if I’m not there soon.” He chuckles and eventually pulls away.
You’re all on tour at the moment, and you have your own hotel rooms, but Harry makes sure to sneak over to yours every night.
The guys were all planning on meeting up in the lobby before they headed out for rehearsal. You’d join them later.
“It’s only…” You grumble as you check the time on your phone. “7:30. You can’t just go later?”
He smiles and drops another kiss on your lips. “No, because you’re going later, and if we go at the same time, they’ll say something about it.”
You sigh dramatically, making him laugh again.
“Okay, I have to go. I’ll see you later.”
-
After the show is over, you and the guys decided to go out to the pub and get a few drinks since you have a day off of touring tomorrow.
You’re currently sitting next to Harry, who is struggling to keep his eyes and hands off of you. The guys are already suspicious of you two, always making jokes about you liking him, or him liking you, so him staring at you probably wouldn’t help your case at all.
“Do you guys want me to grab you another drink?” You ask all five of them, and they all say yes.
You get up out of your seat and head over to the bar. Harry watches as you talk to the bartender, noticing how he’s leaning over the counter to get closer to you, and smiling at you. Even though he can’t hear anything he’s saying, he knows he is for sure flirting with you.
His jaw clenches. His eyes snap over to you, and he can tell that you’re not interested at all.
And when he starts to notice you looking uncomfortable, he gets up.
He goes right up beside you, resting a hand on your back, and asks you, “Everything alright?”
You stare back at him in shock for just a second before snapping out of it. “Yeah, just… waiting on our drinks.”
The smile on the bartender’s face falls, and Harry’s grows. He loves scaring off the men who flirt with you, even though it’s a bit selfish of him. He has no right to, since you aren’t together. But he just doesn’t really care.
“Okay, be quick, baby.” He says, planting a kiss on your temple before heading back over to the table with a smug grin.
The guys were, of course, watching that entire interaction, laughing loudly to themselves. Harry rolled his eyes as he sat down, immediately complaining about the bartender.
“That guy is weird as hell, she looked so uncomfortable.”
But he was cut off by Niall. “Right. I’m sure that’s why you went up and did that whole fake boyfriend thing?”
Harry glared at him. “Fuck off. I was just being a good friend.”
“Ha! Friend!” Niall cackled.
“Okay, so if there’s nothing going on between you two, and you’re just friends, you don’t mind if I ask her out on a date, do you?” Zayn spoke up.
Harry knows that Zayn doesn’t think of you like that, and is only saying that to get a reaction out of him. He hates that it worked.
He stares at him in shock before stuttering out, “What? No, no. You can’t.” He laughs nervously, shaking his head. “You’re… she’s- she’s too good for you. You’ll just… yeah.”
And that’s when he realizes he fucked up.
“Harry, mate, you are aware that her hotel room is right next to mine, correct?” Niall asked, sipping his beer.
“Okay…?” He responds, confused.
And then it clicks, and it’s obvious on his face when it does. His eyes widen just slightly, and his shoulders tense.
But no one can say anything else about it because you’re back with the drinks.
-
Harry sneaks into your room at about 1:45 in the morning, and is relieved to see you awake, in the bed, watching tv.
You turn your head to look at him and smile sleepily. “Hi.” You whisper.
But he doesn’t smile back. He closes the door completely before going up to your bed and laying down next to you. He rests his head on your chest and sighs. “Hi.”
Your hand immediately goes up to his hair, combing through it as you ask, “What’s wrong?”
Harry closed his eyes and let out a deep breath through his nose. “The guys know.”
Your hand stops its movements. “What?”
He nods, burying his face into your neck, inhaling the scent of your body wash. “I’m a terrible liar, baby.” He pauses. “And Niall’s room is right next to yours.”
“Oh my god.” You laugh, and he joins you.
You both just lay in bed for a while, watching the movie you had on before he came in, until your eyes grow heavy, and you drift off to sleep. He shortly followed.
The streets of London were quieter than usual, the golden glow of the streetlights reflecting off the rain-soaked pavement. You walked hand in hand with Harry, your fingers intertwined as you wandered with no destination in mind.
“You know,” he said, glancing over with a smile that made your heart skip, “I think getting lost with you might be my favourite hobby.”
You laughed softly, nudging his shoulder. “Good thing you’re terrible with directions, then.”
He grinned, squeezing your hand a little tighter before pulling you closer as the evening breeze drifted through the city. Around you, cafés buzzed with conversation, buses rolled past, and music spilled out of open doorways, but none of it seemed to matter.
For a moment, it felt like London belonged only to the two of you.
Harry looked down at you, his expression soft. “Promise me we’ll always make time for this.”
“For getting lost?”
“For us.”
You smiled.
“I promise.”
The smell of fresh coffee drifted through the crisp London air, making you stop in your tracks.
“Harry,” you said, pointing across the street. “That café looks adorable.”
He followed your gaze before smiling. “Well, I can’t say no to coffee.”
Crossing the road together, his fingers stayed laced with yours. Every so often, his thumb brushed absentmindedly over the back of your hand, a small gesture that never failed to make you smile.
The café was warm and inviting, with fairy lights hanging in the windows and the scent of cinnamon filling the room. A short queue had already formed at the counter, so you joined the end of the line.
Harry stepped in behind you, wrapping one arm loosely around your waist.
“You know,” he murmured, resting his chin lightly on your shoulder, “you’re very distracting.”
You laughed quietly. “We’re literally just waiting for coffee.”
“Mhm,” he hummed, pressing a quick kiss to your temple. “Still distracting.”
You rolled your eyes, trying not to smile too much.
A few seconds later, he brushed another kiss against your cheek.
“Harry…
“What?”
“We’re in public.”
“So?” he replied with a grin.
Before you could answer, he leaned down and placed another gentle kiss on the top of your head, earning a laugh from you.
“You are impossible.”
“And yet,” he said, squeezing your hand, “you still like me.”
“I suppose I do.”
“You suppose?” He placed a hand dramatically over his heart. “That’s heartbreaking.”
You giggled, nudging him with your shoulder.
“I love you.”
His teasing expression softened instantly.
“I love you more.”
The barista called for the next customer, but neither of you noticed at first, too caught up in smiling at each other until someone behind you cleared their throat with an amused chuckle.
You both laughed, stepping forward to order your coffees together.
The walk home felt even quieter than before.
Each of you carried a warm takeaway cup, the gentle chatter of London fading into the background as you wandered through familiar streets. Harry kept close, his shoulder brushing yours every few steps until he eventually slipped his free hand into yours again.
“I think this might be my favourite part of the day,” he admitted.
“What? The coffee?”
He smiled, shaking his head.
“No… this.”
He lifted your joined hands slightly before bringing them to his lips for a quick kiss.
“Just being with you.”
Your heart melted a little.
When you finally reached home, Harry held the door open with a dramatic bow.
“After you.”
You laughed, stepping inside the warmth of the flat. The moment the door clicked shut behind you, the busy city seemed to disappear.
You kicked off your shoes, setting your coffee on the coffee table before wandering into the living room. Harry followed close behind, never more than a step away.
Without saying a word, he wrapped his arms around you from behind, resting his chin gently on the top of your head.
“Comfortable?” you asked with a smile.
“Very.”
“You do realise we haven’t even sat down yet?”
“I know.”
“So…?”
“I’m happy right here.”
You turned in his arms, laughing softly before stealing one quick kiss.
“Come on.”
You led him over to the sofa, curling up together beneath a soft blanket. Harry settled beside you, one arm around your shoulders while you rested your head against his chest.
The room was peaceful, filled only with the distant sound of rain tapping against the windows and the occasional clink of your coffee mugs on the table.
Harry absentmindedly traced small circles across your arm with his fingertips as you listened to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.
“You know,” he whispered, “I don’t think I’ve ever felt this relaxed.”
You tilted your head to look at him.
“Me neither.”
He smiled before pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead.
Neither of you felt the need to say anything else.
You simply stayed there, tangled together beneath the blanket, sipping your coffee and enjoying the quiet afternoon—completely content just to be in each other’s company.
A smile spread across Harry’s face as he looked at you.
“What?” you laughed.
“Nothing.”
Before you could ask again, he leaned in, peppering your cheeks, forehead, nose, and jaw with a flurry of quick, affectionate kisses.
You burst into laughter, trying to gently push him away.
“Harry!” you giggled.
“I can’t help it,” he said with a grin, stealing one last kiss from the tip of your nose. “You’re just too kissable.”
You shook your head, smiling despite yourself, and rested your forehead against his.
“You are such a sap.”
“And you’re stuck with me.”
“I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
This is also my first time posting a one shot so it’s probably not good so please be kind💞
