    she really didn’t   know how to act around other pearls ,    finding her own behavior always lacking when faced with someone who was clearly SUPPOSED to be her but she just DID NOT reach that level .    not that it mattered in this situation ,    she just needed to act like she BELONGED in this situation ,    like she wasn’t INTRUDING on anything   (  especially when she clearly was just standing there ,    quite awkwardly ,    looking as if she was discarded without anyone to guide her  ) .    “   krhm  .  “   @daintblue  //  sc.

     There is a brief moment of reconsideration spread across Chrysolberyl’s faced, mixed with the fury that has lead her to this thought.   The hold was still tight around the Pearl though, not taking her eyes off her   c a p t i v e  ,   not even a blink.        Most gems would be on their knees begging her for help but this pearl, this pearl,  had none of that.   Not the slightest bit of respect for her superiors even a life-or-death situation. HAH, how wonderful !   But Chrysoberyl wouldn’t sink to that level.   She wouldn’t let herself be talked upon by   ANY   class, above or  BELOW.    Then, with the same manner of gesture she reached out for the Pearl’s other wrist as well. Carrying her up by both enough for her and the Pearl to reach eye-level with each other.    ‘ Perhaps we could end it here then. ’   She says to her, eyes a piercing rage. 

       this was extremely  humiliating    (   not that she was supposed to feel humiliated by anything a gem did to her ,    she was supposed to smile and take it ,    supposed to just bow her head and say thanks .  )   and she felt it heat up her cheeks ,   betraying her anger ,    the emotions swirling inside her gut .

       not that the expression on her face wouldn’t ,   as it contorts into a mask of rage ,    only to be slightly cracked by the pain her wrist .    snarling at the taller one in pure self defense .    what Chrysoberyl did not know though ,    was the lengths nevi would take to keep herself intact ,    she’s learned to not GET INTO THESE SITUATIONS .    or ,    how to get put of them . 

      “ I’d like to see you fucking try . ‘   she hisses before snapping open a blade she had stashed away on her belt ,  (  having to carry such things just in case )  and slashes through the hand trapped in the others grip . 

        the pain hits instant ,    but Nevi cannot let that poof her ,   she was stronger than that ,    she had to be .

  “ I  don’t  think you’re supposed to be here  . ’     little did the other know ,    neither was Nevi ,    but the pearl had gotten extremely good at pretending she did .    then again standing around stationed at doors wasn’t the hardest thing ,    as gems seemed to ignore her as much as the walls around the extraction chambers .   //  @blackstardiopside  sc.

       How contemptuous.  Normally Chrysoberyl wouldn’t flinch at one’s intrusive words, but this Gem managed to  tick  it just right to get on her nerves.      Without hesitating to her actions, Chrysoberyl managed to grip a tight hold onto the Pearl’s wrist before she could even move away.  She would not be talked down upon, especially not by the likes of a Pearl.   And she intended to    r e m i n d   her of that.        ‘   Now hear me out you twerp, ’     She said, tightening the grip around her wrist. Just enough to not damage her body to the point of breaking.    ‘  Either you do as I say or we can end it right   here   and    now. ’

      Oh  STARS  that hurts like a MOTHERPEARL .    the fingers on her trapped hand twitched as Nevis expression morphed from a bored frown ,    to surprised pain ,    to a furious grimace ,   her shoulders rising as the threat set into her bones .    she should be lucky the other hadn’t just plain poofed her on the spot ,    but there was still time and gems in her position were CRUEL by nature .    

       if she was a more COMPETENT gem  (   not pearl ,    stars knew no pearl should even be in a situation like this ,    where they’re talking back to someone who could own them by default of status  )   she would have summoned a weapon by now .    placed it under Chrysoberyls chin with a glint of a smile on her lips ,    but she couldn’t ,    wasn’t able to manifest anything out of her gem ,    so she was stuck trapped within the CRUSHING grip of a monochrome hand . 

  “ I’ve never  never been good at following THREATS . ’     she quips ,    unable to stop herself ,    the humor associated with such a sentence trapped at the back of her throat ,    not really coming out .    the pain was too much for it ,    but the cockiness was there anyway ,    what a cruel joke of a pearl she was .
