I made the one silmaril in the center lighter for some reasons, one. The centre of the head is in alot of worlds a big place for energy(Chakra point)Thus they would have more trouble of seeping in
And I needed one that is easier to hack off for beren
The thing is how much do they change him and how much do they get changed
Im not talking about the silmaril get evil i believe thats not possible perse but also they are made by feanor and his fea is strong and bright and very much the embodiment of free will.
Which would clash with melkor in some way very hard
...and in some deep parts resonate with him.
The two silmaril that stayed for a long time with him must be far different as to the one that "got free" maybe their song their being is too changed
And despite all morgoth is the strongest valar in mind/song and will. So im rotating around the idea that he is filled with whispers and thoughts already from the void that are inside him and then the silmaril the once that buried themselves in him are giving him thoughts too
But not in the "u are so evil,be better" they are just creations afterall but like amplifier of those thoughts and the feelings feanor had. There is hate in them tho burning in a way for being stolen and caged in. And then there is vardas influence. The hollowing. The blessing.
she decreed that no mortal flesh, nor hands stained with evil or malice, could touch the jewels without being burned and withered.
This would mean melkor was withering away? Or maybe not? He was still strong. But what does that mean when he didn't withered away. Sure they hurt him, but more their light.
The concept of evil and malice is very vague. What if that person believe deeply they aren't evil?
This would fit beautifully in the idea that the silmaril burned maedhros and maglor because of their last influence of melkor. For him they are very much evil.
Im already thinking how that one silmaril that is different would change Eärendil.
I think that this silmaril is and becomes the embodiment of free will. Freedom seeking
The reason why it wanders alot how the urge to get its hand on it is amplified by that. The moment it got locked up again the consequences are death.
and both Eärendil and elwing are changed in that way. Physically and mentally changed i think.
Elwing has no fear of jumping because the silmaril is urging her on.
They have no fear when they sail to lands they got told aren't allowed to go.
The free will of the silmaril
The last remants of the brightest elve.
