Actually, this picture isn’t just about lil mai, but about my old stupid headcanon, which you can read below (really sorry, my eng a bit crooked)

Mairon always only forged, but he never used what he had made. In Aulë’s forges, he could easily forge weapons (why not??), but thought about using them himself never even crossed his mind. However, after meeting Melkor, some interesting thoughts began to visit his mind.

For example, when he started working with Melkor, he didn’t know how to fight. He knew the theory perfectly, but he didn’t know how to use it in practice. He kept failing all the time, and it really annoyed him. No fighting style suited him, so he decided to invent his own (werewolves and a whip yeah hah))
