Who tf is Paget and why does he have so many diseases???
Reading Hamnet and it’s the first book that has actually made me enjoy reading in a long time.
Jason can't stop collecting parents; they're calling him Gotham's most adoptable child.
Even Man-Bat got in on it!
Batman (1940) #361
They call him the new 52
5 parents who failed him
2 chances at life
I also made a Frankenstein one here
As if Bruce wasn’t insufferable enough he’s a millennial tumblr girlie CANCEL HIM NOW!!!
Frankenstein x Red Hood is my favourite niche
Wait until I do a Red hood x Heathcliff
I have found my people!!!
Wuthering heights post
I wanted more Al-Hashimi :((((
Also Samira clearly shouldn’t be leaving I think we need a more clear send off for her. This show is so disappointing with how they drop actresses.
I don’t like Robby still. Mental illness isn’t an excuse to act like that.
The karaoke scene was so nice I almost forgot how much I hated this entire season. Mel and santos drop langarcia and form a comedic duo!
Some Tim and Jason wholesome fanfics sort of insert Jason as Bruce and not himself. Like why would Jason be babysitting a guy two years younger than him? And I love Jason but he wouldn’t be heartbroken about Tim Drake alone at home with no babysitter (Jason grew up on the literal streets, a house with food and supplies isn’t something that would move him to tears and reluctant babysitting)
Sometimes you just have to admit you want to write a younger and sad Bruce Wayne finding out his neighbors are neglecting their own son. And this would actually work better because a) Bruce shares a background with Tim he’d immediately see why him being alone is bad and b) because Bruce’s parents were robbed from time with him, so to think those people are willingly leaving their son alone? Yeah it would ruin his day and c) he’s actually old enough to be Tim’s caregiver
I'm actually really fucking worried that the season will end with the message of "Yea this man was actually 100% right about these women of color not being able to handle the difficult work environment"
100% this was my fear from episode one.
I liked Al-Hashimi early on but I had this nagging feeling that she’ll end up “learning” from Robby how true medicine doesn’t require her innovative ideas and that the way he does things is the right and only way.
Never mind that the night shift somehow has two senior residents and two attendings already so her idea isn’t even wild by hospital standards.
The Samira thing I won’t even comment. I’m so upset about it because in season 1 she had the most potential and now we’re stuck at just that.
hello world, his name is damian wayne and he is only 1 year old today (๑・̑◡・̑๑)
Bruce never seeing Damian as a baby just gives me heartache
This episode is so anti climatic.
Al-Hashimi telling Robby he’s a brilliant doctor after he spent an entire shift belittling and essentially bullying her. And last episode she had notes about his behavior but nope this all disappears now???
Whitaker yelling at Langdon? That doesn’t make sense. Yes he’s Santos’s roommate but this isn’t about him. If anything Langdon didn’t even talk to him.
Low hopes for the series finale.
The random Lyft ad is the cherry on top too.
bruces biggest fear being jason dying and that becoming a reality. im not crying dont look at me.

Let’s brood with papa!
Cassie McKay, how I adore you and all the ways that sobriety has made your perspective more grounded and less frantic than everyone around you. Still deeply human and flawed and a better character for all that entails but at her core willing to learn and grow. The representation we need.
McKay is such good rep for people who pursue medicine later in life. Her experiences in life and her empathy are so well developed, and I love seeing her interact with her fellow residents and students. She doesn’t have the antagonistic tendencies you see in other dynamics.
As a person who started medschool at 18 you tend to see how studying all of Highschool and then going to med school where all you have to do is study impacts the quality of students’ empathy and people skills in general.
And If I said it was reductive to say “if santos was a man EVERYONE would love her” when a big part of her character is that she’s a woman. Like no she’s not female Langdon they don’t even have any similarities beyond dark hair and blue eyes what are we saying?
I understand double standards are a thing but I’m just sick of the feminist rhetoric that every systemic issue women face is just a society double standards. There are way bigger issues that aren’t just “if she was a man everyone would praise her” if anything if she was a man they’d misunderstand her character and turn it into some alpha male nonchalant doctor and would disregard his CSA and mental health issues.
Santos being a woman isn’t why she primarily gets hate. She gets hate because people think you should just “grow out” of your trauma, and that doctors should act like robots who don’t have their own issues. Misogyny adds a twist to the hate (being called a bitch and being discredited as a doctor when her skills are impeccable and only her bedside manner needs some improvement) but it’s not as simple as a double standards thing.
girl, so confusing- ambteen
Women in House MD barely interacting was an insane choice by the writers.
