Summary: Y/n’s upset after the dinner her husband to be calling her siblings ‘Strong’.
Authors Note: I know this has been done many times but it is a good scene for us writers to take from. Look forward to writing more House Of The Dragon, especially with what's to come. . .
Needless to say the family dinner after Virsey's left had completely turned upside down. Words exchanged and fists were thrown. Y/n had stood up and left before her brothers were told to, she couldn’t stay and look at her betrothed. Not after he stood up and made the toast he did. Not after the words that left his mouth.
Y/n had now headed to her room. She had been in there for a bit now, she had undone her braids and taken off her jewelry. That was when Aemond entered her chambers after a quick knock.
“You're upset.” He stated the obvious.
“Yeah. What gave it away?” Y/n rolled her eyes and scoffed. It was kinda obvious she was upset. Especially with him.
“I didn’t mean anything by it.” At least to her he didn’t.
“Yes. You did.” Y/n glared at him. He insulted her brothers on purpose. He meant it with malice intent.
Aemonds jaw ticked. “It wasn’t toward you.”
“But you know it does go towards me! They are my brothers, same parents, same blood. You say it about them, it includes me to.” Y/n rushed over to him and poked him in the chest, her anger seeping out in waves. He was smart, he had to see it. “How do you not see that?”
Aemond took a deep breath calming himself so he didn’t add his own anger to the situation. “It wasn’t my intention to involve you in it.”
“But it does involve me. Every time it involves me.” She sighed, shaking her head. Y/n looked at him and she couldn’t tell if he truly understood or not why it upset her so.
“You really don’t get it do you? Do you not see how it affects everyone? How everyone views us? That its an excuse for everyone out there to say the same. Do you not see how it hurts me? How it makes me look?. . You know for someone who hates bastards you sure love to point out your future wife is one.” Y/n could see the realization of her words come across his face.
Aemond shook his head racing up to cup her cheek. “I don’t hate you.”
Y/n backed up away from him, Aemond’s hand fell from her cheek as she did so. “Could’ve fooled me.”
Aemond narrowed his eyes. “I prove I love you in many ways.”
“And I wonder in times like this, when you say things like what you did- what you love to point out about my brothers and me if you’ve ever meant any of it.” Y/n’s voice cracked and she looked away not wanting him to see her break. “I’m gonna go for a ride on my dragon. Cool down. Don’t follow me.”
Y/n walked past him avoiding his hand as he reached out to try and stop her. Y/n grabbed her riding jacket and left her room and betrothed there. Luckily she almost always wore pants under her dresses in case she wanted to go for a ride. As she headed to the dragon pit Y/n braided her hair to keep it back once she was up in the sky. She needed to clear her head and riding her dragon was the best way. Once she got to the dragon pit Y/n headed straight to the back where her dragon liked to be and immediately walked over to greet him before climbing up to her saddle and taking off.
All the while Aemond stood there in her room contemplating what she had said and she was right. He hadn’t thought about how it would affect her and that he wasn’t just insulting Jacerys and Lucerys. Aemond sighed, when he heard her dragon cry out happily at being free to fly he walked over to the balcony and watched. Aemond came to the realization that he needed to change some of his behaviors if he didn’t want to hurt her anymore. Aemond stayed there watching and thinking for a while before he decided to head to the dragon pit and wait for her.
It wasn’t long after Aemond arrived at the dragon pit that he could hear Y/n getting closer, and soon enough she landed. Y/n noticed him right away, his hair didn’t exactly blend into the dark. “I thought I told you not to follow me.”
Aemond uncrossed his arms kicking off the wall as he walked towards her. “I didn’t go up on Vaghar and follow you. I waited down here for you.”
Y/n sat on the saddle looking down at him, she was still annoyed with him but less angry. “You shouldn’t have.”
Y/n unclipped herself from the front of the saddle and swung her lef over. Aemond caught her waist as she slid down. Once she was on her feet Y/n turned to face him, having a feeling that he had something to say.
“No, I shouldn’t have let you leave to begin with.” He stated, looking at her pleadingly with his eye for her to forgive him. Aemond took in a breath to gain some confidence before saying what he was gonna say. He felt guilt for how he made her feel. “I won’t do it again. . . It obviously hurts you, I can’t forgive what was done to me but I’ll stop with the name calling. And provoking. For your sake.”
Y/n was taken back, she knew he couldn’t forgive or forget what had happened to him when they were all kids. But he was willing to be more civil for her sake.
“Why the sudden change of heart?” Y/n wondered, looking up at him in curiosity.
Aemond reached up to cup her cheek, his eye held adoration. Only for her. “Because I do love you. I’m sorry.”
She was the only person he had ever apologized to and it would remain that way. Y/n looked at him and she could tell Aemond meant his words. Y/n reached up cupping his cheek like he was hers. “I love you too.”
It wouldn’t be easy, they both knew that, and they both knew it wouldn’t be the last thing they’d have to deal with either. But they’d figure it out together.
“You need to relax.” Y/n pointed out as she sat there listening to him stress out about a new man with powers hanging around.
“I can’t.” Peter stressed, shaking his head, lifting his hand and biting his nails.
“Yes, you can. Peter he hadn’t done anything yet. You don’t need to worry about this right now.” Y/n hated seeing her brother this stressed. If the guy hadn’t done anything yet then Peter didn’t need to worry to this level.
“But he could be planning something.” Peter stopped pacing, looking at Y/n with wide eyes. Why wasn’t she worried about this? She knew the kind of people he took down and watched as spiderman.
Y/n adjusted herself to sit up and scooted a little forward in her seat. “Even if he is, you won’t know till he does it. So please stop stressing yourself out.”
Peter sat down next to her in defeat. “I just don’t want anyone to get hurt.”
Y/n sympathized with him, knowing how much effort he puts in to keeping everyone and the city safe. “You know you can’t always help that. Besides, his history suggests he only takes out the bad guys.”
“His methods are-”
“Different than yours, but effective.” Y/n knew Peter hated the way Kraven the hunter handled his business but it worked for him. Her brother would never handle things the same way but that didn’t mean it didn’t work.
“I guess. Just please be cautious. We don’t know what he looks like.” Peter knew she had a point but he would never condone this Hunters methods and he couldn’t handle it if something happened to her.
Y/n reached over and grabbed his hand in hers. “I always am.”
Peter nodded, biting his lip before taking a deep breath. “I know, I know it’s just. . . I lost you once, I don't want to lose you again.”
Y/n pulled him into a hug, resting her chin on his shoulder. She would not let anything take her from Peter again. It wasn’t her choice before but it would be if someone tried to separate them again. “You won’t.”
Peter nodded trying to convince himself of her promise. He cleared his throat pulling out of the hug. “Are we still on for tomorrow night?”
Y/n knew he was changing the subject because it was hard for him, and she let him. “Of course. See you then, brother.”
Peter stood up and headed to the door to leave Y/n’s apartment. He smiled at her. “See you then, sis.”
Neither sibling noticed or even had an inkling to the eyes that had been watching them the whole time from the roof of the building across the way. Eyes of a hunter that was forming a plan in his head on how to get closer to a spider under the radar.
^ ^ ^
It had been a few days since Peter had warned Y/n of a new potential threat. But she wasn’t going to let that deter what she wanted to do. So Y/n went about her life as normal.
That was till she bumped into a stranger on the sidewalk. “I am so sorry.”
Y/n apologized once she was steady on her feet thanks to said man who grabbed her around the waist so she wouldn’t fall.
“Its alright. No harm done.” The man shook his head with a light unbothered smile on his lips.
Y/n looked up at him for the first tie and was taken back by how handsome this man truly was.
“Sorry.” She blushed, stepping back to give them both space.
Sergei tried to contain his amused smirk. “You said that already.”
“Sor-”
They both laughed at how she was about to say it again.
“Where are you headed? If you don’t mind me asking. I’m Sergei by the way.” Sergei asked, hoping to keep the conversation going.
“I’m Y/n, and I don’t. I’m not going anywhere impurticualr.” Y/n shrugged as they introduced themselves.
Sergei smiled at getting her name, he may have already known it but she didn’t know that. “Well if you have nothing to do may I suggest something?”
“Sure.” Y/n was intrigued so she answered pretty fast.
“Really?” Sergei couldn’t hide his honest surprise at how willing she was when they had just met.
“I’m curious.” She shrugged, smiling up at him. It wasn’t like she couldn’t protect herself if need be.
Sergei couldn’t deny the twinge of fascination he got at her behavior. “Would you like to take a walk with me? I haven’t been here in years, so could you show me around?”
“Sure. Why not.” Y/n didn’t have anything to do and he didn’t seem like a serial killer.
“Lead the way.” Sergei held his hand out, stepping aside so she could lead the way.
They fell in step with each other. “Well, what do you wanna see?” Y/n asked him curious to know what he might want to see around the city.
“Your favorite places.” He shrugged his shoulders as he put his hands in his jacket pockets. Sergei glanced at her shyly. “You seem like someone with good taste.”
Y/n smiled, looping their arms together. “Well that I am.”

2 Weeks Later
“So you have any family here?” Y/n asked as they sat down at a table outside a sandwich shop. Ever since they had met a couple weeks ago the two had met up to do something or go somewhere, and they were getting to know each other as well.
Sergei shook his head after taking a bite, he swallowed before answering her. “No, not here. Do you?”
Y/n nodded ‘yes’, taking a sip of her soda before speaking. “Yeah. My brother and Aunt. Along with some close friends.”
Sergei raised a brow framing curiosity as if he didn’t know that. “A brother? I have one of those.”
“Younger or older?” She asked, curious to know more.
“Younger. Yours?” He might already know but she didn’t know that.
“Older. By 16 months.” Y/n smiled, taking a bite of her own sandwich.
“Close.” Sergei's eyebrows raised in surprise.
“Yeah. We act like twins. For the most part.” She nodded fondly as she thought about how many times people asked if her and Peter were twins. But that also had a big gap in it from when they were kids and to recent years. And thinking about that gap of time and what happened in it made Y/n’s happy expression fall.
Sergei picked up on the change in her emotions and noticed how her eyes visibly dimmed, he reached across the table laying his head on top of hers to gain her attention. “You okay? Where’d your mind go?”
Y/n looked up at him blinking out of her thoughts. “No where.”
“I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable.” It wasn’t his intention to have her mind go to a dark place and he truthfully felt bad that it had. He was just trying to know her, and if Sergei was honest with himself he didn’t know if it was just to find Spiderman's weakness anymore.
“You didn’t.” Y/n squeezed his hand as assurance he didn’t do anything wrong, sending him a tight lipped smile. “So how long are you in the city for?” She asked changing the subject.
Sergei sat back in his seat, he understood the subject change and went with it. He shrugged. “I don’t know yet.”
Y/n raised a brow at his nonchalant response. “No commitments?”
“None holding me down.” Sergei didn’t have to be anywhere at any specific time, and he enjoyed it that way.
“Must be nice, and lonely.” Y/n couldn’t imagine how lonely that could get but to be able to go anywhere anytime that sounded nice. Y/n just would want someone to go with her.
“It can be. But I’m enjoying your company.” Truth was Sergei didn’t like to dwell on how lonely his life was at times. But as much as it wasn’t in his plans he enjoyed hanging out with her more than he planned.
“Y/n?” Peter tilted his head in confusion as he caught sight of his sister when he was about to pass by. And he didn’t recognize who she was sitting with.
“Peter.” Y/n was shocked when she heard him call her name, they didn’t tend to run into each other when they were out and about.
“Who’s this?” Peter pointedly looked towards Sergei with caution and suspension.
“Oh right. Peter, this is Sergei, this is my brother Peter.” Y/n pointed between the two as she introduced them.
“Nice to meet you.” Peter nodded but he didn’t smile, his spidey senses were tingling he felt like something was off with this guy.
“You to.” Sergei nodded in his seat, he was trying not to let it show how on edge he was being this close to his recent hunt.
“So this is your new friend you mentioned.” Peter stated even though it sounded more like a question. He didn’t take his eyes off Sergei. Something just felt wrong.
“This is him.” Y/n nodded with a smile, she could feel some tension between the two but she hoped it was just normal brotherly protectiveness and Sergei’s usual stand off-ishness towards it seemed everyone but her.
“So you're the brother who's been talked highly of?” Sergei tried to lessen the tension by smiling and trying to break the ice.
“That must be me.” Peter gave a tight smile, he didn’t understand why this guy felt off so for now he’d play nice. Maybe his senses could be having an off day. Peter turned to Y/n. “Well I’ve got to go but are you still up for tonight?” It was their usual movie night but sometimes it was also a take down a bad guy night.
Y/n smiled, she couldn’t wait for their annual movie night. “Yeah, I’ll be there.” She hoped it’d be a normal night in with her brother.
With that Peter gave one last nod and bid the both of them farewell and left on his way.
“So I can’t talk you into dinner and movies tonight?” Sergei pouted teasingly once Peter left.
“Raincheck?” Y/n raised a brow hoping to be able to spend more time with him but not willing to cancel time with her brother.
“Of course.” Sergei understood sibling time, but he also knew that the look in both their eyes meant more than possibly just staying home.
After they finished Sergei and Y/n said their goodbyes and went their separate ways. Sergei waited and watched till he noticed Y/n and Peter leave her apartment, and then he followed them. It wasn’t hard for him to keep up and he noticed at some point along the way the siblings had disappeared and reappeared wearing their ‘hero’ suits. Tonight Sergei didn’t plan on exposing himself, it was just about watching and surveying, studying the two.
While he was watching them from afar take down petty theft robbers and some wanna be gang members, Sergei noticed every once in a while how Y/n would glance around suspiciously. It was almost like she knew they were being watched. In fact Sergei was 100% sure he somehow did know someone, him, was watching them from the shadows. Sergei hated it when his mind decided to wonder thinking about her. He started having reservations about his spying and growing relationship and feelings when it came to Y/n. It didn’t feel right. He was starting to realize that all the feelings he was having for her weren’t fake to get to know her and get close to her brother. They were real, and the spying and keeping so much secret wasn’t feeling right anymore. So Sergei decided after Y/n and Peter headed home for the night, done with patrolling the city, that he was going to stop by Y/n’s place and come clean. He was going to come clean tonight hoping that she’ll let him explain and not hate him after.
Sergei got there before Y/n did, he assumed she was changing out of her outfit so no one would notice. He contemplated what exactly he would say to her.
When he heard the key enter the lock Sergei took a deep breath, preparing himself for what he was about to reveal.
Y/n entered her apartment and once she flipped the light switch on she was taken back.
“Sergei!” She gasped, placing her hand over her heart. Y/n looked at him confused. “How’d you-”
“We need to talk.” He stated rubbing his hands together nervously.
“Okay?” Y/n was now on edge. She had never told him where she lived.
Sergei noticed how her posture changed and tensed up, he sighed knowing the chances of their growing relationship ending were high. “I haven’t been completely honest with you. I want to change that. But I need you to let me explain.”
Y/n felt her heart squeeze in her chest as he said those words. “Why do I feel like this is going to cause a lot of pain?”
“I’m hoping it won’t.” he gestures to the couch, his heart clenching at the thought of causing her pain.
Y/n walked over to sit on her couch across from him as he sat in the arm chair to her left. “Go on.”
“Some pain might not be avoidable but I’m hoping you’ll give me a chance to fully explain everything to you.”
Y/n nodded. “I’m listening.”
“I know Peter’s spiderman. I know this because I’m Kraven.” Sergei decided to just rip the bandaid off and get it out of the way.
“The Hunter.” Y/n sat up straighter.
“Yes. . . I originally came here to New York seeking him out. His abilities make him the ultimate hunt.” He further explained nervous considering he just admitted he came here hunting her brother.
“You came to kill my brother.” Y/n narrowed her eyes at him.
“Originally yes. But that changed.” Sergei rushed out panicking on the inside.
“How so?” Y/n didn’t like the sound of him going after her brother.
“I met you.” He answered honestly.
Y/n raised a brow in question, staying guarded. “You met me?”
Sergei nodded, pleading with his eyes. “My plan was to get close to the people that are close to Spiderman. With some digging on my part I found out who he is under the mask.”
Y/n had to admit it wasn’t hard to put together if you looked hard enough, but this also meant they more than likely didn’t meet by accident. “It wasn’t a coincidence we ran into each other. Was it?”
“No.” He could see her putting it together but he still couldn’t get a read on how she was feeling. It was clear that she was keeping her emotions guard now that she knew. “I made that happen. I’ve been spying on you and others close to him for a while now. But since I’ve got to know you, it hasn’t felt right since. I didn’t plan on catching feelings for you. It wasn’t in my plans. But it happened and I don’t regret it.”
Y/n nodded real slowly as realization came over her. “The dates and getting to know each other, that was all to gain information. None of it was ever real was it? Was anything you ever told me even real?”
That was when her emotions broke through just enough that he could tell this was indeed hurting her. She felt used, but that wasn’t the case.
“It was all real. Everything I told you about me, my feelings for you, it was all real. Is real.” Sergei stressed scooting to sit on the edge of the chair. Everything between them was 100% real.
“How can I trust you? How can I trust anything you say to me?” Y/n wanted to, so badly did she want to. But this was a lot.
“Because I’m giving up my pursuit for your brother. It’d hurt you if I don’t and I don’t want to hurt you anymore than I know I already have.” He sent her a weak smile, he really didn’t want to hurt her anymore. The two just stared at each other in silence as Y/n digested all this information. “I want to earn back your trust. Please let me.”
Y/n contemplated his words for a moment. Wanting her trust. “If I’m to give you a chance- another chance. I want the full truth about you. No lies, no hiding anything.”
Sergei nodded, hopeful and willing to do anything to win back her trust. “I promise.”
Y/n looked at him before pleading with him. “Don’t make me regret this.”
Sergei leaned forward wrapping one hand around her neck pulling her to him for a kiss then leaning their foreheads against each other's.
“If we’re telling the whole truth and not hiding anything about each other, then I have a question.” Sergei mentioned pulling away but removing his hand from her neck down to hold her hand.
“Whats this question?” She furrowed her brow waiting for him to ask.
“What are you?” Silence follows the two for a moment before he continues. “You're not spider-like, like your brother.”
Y/n shook her head looking at the floor. “I’m not. Not in that way.”
Sergei could feel her tense up again, he started rubbing his thumb across the back of her hand. Y/n lifted her gaze to his. “No more secrets.”
Y/n took a deep breath before deciding that he did deserve to know. After all, he was honest about being Kraven. “When I said before that me and Peter act like twins for the most part. Well we do but we probably would be even more if we grew up together.”
Sergei furrowed his brow confused. “What do you mean?”
“When I was 8 our parents took us to a street fair, it’s no secret me and Peter are really smart. But for our age’s back then it was highly watched. Along with how athletic I was, I made a great candidate.” Y/n didn’t want to give him a short answer. He should know it all.
“Canidate for what?” Sergei didn’t like where this story sounded like it was headed.
“The RedRoom.” She stated. Y/n didn’t like to talk about it, but she trusted Sergei once she wanted to again and she was the one to say no more secrets.
Now that surprised him and it didn’t. Her fighting was professional, well trained. But the RedRoom? “You're a Widow.”
“Was. Am.” Y/n was being honest. She still used what they had taught her there everyday. It was engraved in her DNA, she’d always be a Widow.
Sergei understood that, it’d always be a part of her. “They just snatched you from the street fair?”
Y/n nodded. “When my parents were looking at a booth set up nearby.”
“How long were you there?” he couldn’t imagine losing a child like that.
“From the age of 8 to 16.” She answered, he was taking it well but he’s been through the ringer to. He could understand to an extent.
“8 Years.” He had heard stories of the RedRoom and he couldn’t help but tense thinking about all she might have gone through in her time there.
“And during that time. . . I thrived in the RedRoom and HYDRA took notice. So during that time they also trained me, and they experimented on me. Gave me my powers.” She didn’t know which she’d consider worse. HYDRA or the RedRoom. The only bonus was between being shared between the two organizations and escaping at age 16 she didn’t go through the dreaded ‘graduation’ process.
Sergei clenched his jaw, trying to control his anger. “Please tell me they're all dead.”
“Most are. Dead or in prison.” Y/n confirmed licking her lips.
Kraven decided right then and there he would find them all and kill them. Make sure they could never harm Y/n again. Even the ones in prison would face his wrath.
Sergei squeezed her hand in reassurance. “I’ll find them and finish it.”
Y/n opened her mouth to speak. “I know your methods-”
“Do you disagree?” He raised a brow and quirked his lips.
“No. Sometimes the bad guys need to die.” She couldn’t disagree, hell her and Peter fought about this often.
“I won’t let them live for what they put you through.” That was a promise he did not plan on breaking.
As odd as it sounded that brought back some of her trust in him, and it felt romantic. He didn’t want anyone getting off easy for what they did to her before he even knew her.
“You hungry?” Y/n asked after a moment of comfortable silence.
“Straving.” He said happily accepting her olive branch.
Y/n nodded, getting up to find some take out menus. “Let’s order some food and we can get to know each other for who they truly are.”
Sergei was taken by her offer so he bit his cheek to contain his smile. “It’s late. Are you inviting me to stay?”
Y/n suddenly felt shy glancing at him over her shoulder. “Do you want to? Stay?”
Of course he wanted to stay. Sergei was going to use all his time to work on mending things between them. “Absolutely.”
Summary: Prompt #3862 ~ Marko and Paul tease Y/n and David about their PDA. But they might leave them alone with Davids suggestion.
Authors Note: If I put just ‘Lost Boys’ in the warnings or any tv show or movie that basically just means the same warnings as the movie/tv show. Prompt From @promptsforthestrugglingauthor
“They're disgustingly in love.” Paul pretends to gag watching David and Y/n perform PDA as they sat on the back of David's bike with Y/n pretty much on his lap.
“Leave him alone. Both of them.” Dwayne chided them, shaking his head. They love teasing the two of them about their relationship. It was all in good fun, but Dwayne didn’t see the point in them doing it so often.
“Oh come on Dwayne. You can’t seriously be enjoying this?” Marko nodded his head towards their brother and sister so to speak, acting so disgustingly in love near them. They loved both of them but David was their brother and Y/n was their sister and they got it there in love and mates and yada yada yada. But Marko and Paul took the protective brother role with her very seriously. So even though it was David and of course they love David and trust him but they also didn’t want to see the two of them sucking face.
“Don’t have to enjoy it. What I’m defending is that he’s happy. They both are.” Dwayne didn’t care about the PDA as much as Paul and Marko. He didn’t have to watch it but for some reason Marko and Paul felt the need to watch the couple.
“You're right. But still.” Paul nodded but still grimaced playfully at the two as David pulled her closer, not that Paul thought they could get any closer.
“Would you two stop flirting with each other and focus on your work?” Marko called over to the couple, effectively getting them to pause their devouring of each other for a moment.
Y/n pulled back from kissing David and tilted her head in confusion at Marko’s words. “Work?”
“Yeah. Deciding on dinner.” Paul pointed out the obvious, at least in his mind. He was hungry.
David raised a brow at his brother. “I’m perfectly focused. Are you distracted? Feeling left out?”
“No.” Marko grumbled and crossed his arms.
“How about you boys decide on dinner and then come back and tell us?” David knew his offer would grab their attention. Especially Paul, who hadn’t picked out who they’d eat in awhile.
“Really?” Paul looked at him excitedly bouncing on the balls of his feet, at the prospect of getting to choose who they eat.
“Yeah. Really?” Y/n agreed seeing what David was doing.
“Yeah. I’m a little busy at the moment.” David sent a smirk Paul’s way.
“Gross.” Marko cringed, sure David was his brother and he was happy for him but they looked at Y/n as their sister so hearing the implication in his voice made Marko and Paul shutter.
“We’ll be back.” Dwayne rolled his eyes and dragged the two terror twins away. Effectively helping the couple have some alone time.
Summary: Being Marcus’ daughter and Maximus killed someone important to reader like Marcus killed Lucius’ wife so the two can actually bond over that. If Lucius can get over his hatred.
“You really must hate him.” Y/n spoke startling the young man from where she leaned against a nearby pillar. She had been watching for some time, and she had noticed that Lucius did not hold any fond feelings for the General in the same home.
Lucius scoffed, turning his head to address her. “I only get along with him for my mothers sake.”
Y/n raised her brows and nodded. “She’s a good woman and deserves that much.”
Ever since Lucilla had come into her life she had treated her like the daughter she never had. It was nice to see the older woman happier now that the twins had been dealt with and she had her son back.
Lucius turned fully to face her, trying his hardest to get a read on her but it was difficult. “Do you have anger towards me for disliking your father and trying to kill him?”
Y/n regarded him in the moment and thought on it before answering with what she knew probably wasn’t what he was expecting. “I worry for him. For you. But I can understand where you're coming from.”
Her answer shocked him but he hid it well behind a single raised brow. “You can?”
Y/n smiled at him, leaving him with one last thought before she turned to leave him alone. “You’d be surprised Lucius Verus Allerius.”
Lucius watched her leave and now he was more intrigued by Marcus’ mystery daughter and what she could have meant.
^ ^ ^
Later that day Lucius was sitting enjoying some light fruit in the early evening with his mother. Something had been bothering both of them, but neither knew it had to do with the same subject.
“I saw you speaking to Y/n earlier.” Lucilla spoke first wanting to talk to her son about what she had seen earlier.
“Yes. Briefly.” Lucius answered her wondering where this would lead.
“She can be wonderful company if you let her.” Lucilla and Y/n had spent lots of time together when Marcus would be sent to conquer. The two women had found great joy and comfort in each other.
Lucius decided if his mother wanted to talk about the Y/h/c-ed young woman then he had some of his own questions. “Whats her story?”
Lucilla had a feeling he would ask at some point, but she would let him ask his questions. So she tilted her head slightly looking right back at him. “What do you mean my son?”
Lucius placed his elbows on the table between them. “What is her history?”
Lucilla wiped off her hands on her napkin cloth before addressing him. “Marcus took her in when she was young. Her father was killed by accident in battle when you both were children."
Now that had shocked Lucius and it showed across his face. “Marcus adopted her?”
Not many people knew Y/n and Marcus weren’t blood. They acted like it in every sense. “He did. Out of honor and you would never know they were not blood, because it does not matter. Loyalty is what matters. Their bond matters.”
It was a surprise, they sure acted like father and daughter. But now that he thought about it they didn’t really look much alike. Although now he had a new question. “How was her father killed?”
Now that Lucilla wasn’t sure how to tell him or if she should. “Lucius-”
“How?” He cut her off knowing by her tone she wanted him to stop. But he couldn’t.
Lucilla looked at her son with sadness in her eyes. “Your father.”
Lucius just stared at her for a few moments. “Maximus?”
“Yes. It was an accident, lots of men were killed wrongly. All because of false reports. Marcus was with him and they knew he had a daughter whose mother recently passed. He decided to take her in as his own.” Lucilla could see the emotions moving across his face. “You see Lucius. You have more in common than you believe.”
Lucius took a couple days to digest the information before he sought Y/n out, wanting to talk. When he did he had found her outside by a fountain. He watched her for a few moments before she spoke up.
“Hello Lucius.” Y/n spoke with a smile not even looking at him, she had felt his presence.
“Y/n.” Lucius greeted moving more into the area by the fountain.
Y/n turned her head to look at him. “What can I do for you?”
“I’d like to talk.” He wondered how she could always do that.
“Okay.” Y/n turned ready to talk to him, and she patted the side of the fountain next to her offering him a seat.
Lucius sat down next to her before speaking. “We’ve spoken of my hate towards Marcus. But I would like to know if you have hate.”
Y/n squinted in confusion. “Towards my father?”
“No.” He said softly.
Realization hit her then. “Ah, you mean with your father. Lucilla and you talked.”
“I asked.” Lucius didn’t want her to think his mother just out right told him her personal tragedy.
“Its okay. It’s good to be curious. As for your questions, no. I used to, Maximus robbed me of my father. The last of my blood. But it was war. In war things happen.” Y/n knew about his wife and war had robbed both of them a different future. Maybe not better, maybe not worse. But it took people they loved all the same. It took her a long time to understand that Maximus hadn’t wanted to do it. He was ordered and didn't have a choice, or know at the time.
“How can you look at it so easily?” It shocked and amazed him that she could look at it like that and not hold any resentiment.
Y/n reached over and placed her hand on top of his. “I’ve had time to. You’ll get there. In time and understanding. It doesn’t ease the pain or the loss, but it gets easier.”
Lucius turned his hand and squeezed hers in appreciation for the comforting gesture. “I’ll have to take your word for it.”
She smiled. “If you ever need to talk to someone who gets it. I’m here.”
“I’d appreciate it.” Lucius realized that he isn’t as alone as he had first thought.
“You have to finish the transition Y/n.” Dwayne spoke as he rounded the bonfire.
“Just kill him. And I mean that with full sincerity.” Marko smirked, swiping his hand out across his body.
“What? But killing people is . . .” Y/n knew the blood drinking was part of it when she agreed to turn but did she have to kill? Like kill kill.
“Illegal? Immoral? You can’t honestly tell me that the world wouldn’t be a better place without him. Sometimes you have to get your hands dirty to do what's right. We can’t all be superman.” David knew he was being blunt and he meant to but also he didn’t. He didn’t want to hurt her feelings or seem harsh to her. On the same hand she needed to drink blood and become a full vampire.
“It gets easier.” Paul stepped closer, rubbing her back. He wouldn’t consider himself the best at providing assurance but he was good at proving physical comfort.
“It’s how we survive. No other way.” Dwayne didn’t like the idea of making- pressuring her to kill, but they don’t exactly have a choice.
“We can help you. We will help you.” Marko added, they would help her. Help her hunt and adjust to her new lifestyle. They’d help her eventually get used to it.
David stepped around her and Paul, with one look Paul stepped aside letting David stand with his chest up against her back. He placed his hands on her shoulders and angled his head to speak closely in her ear. “But you have to complete the transition. I told you before you don’t have to kill anyone innocent. There’s no shortage of bad people for you to eat. This man, he beats his girlfriend. He’s not a good guy. You’d be doing the world a favor.”
Y/n took inDavids words and then looked between each of her boys. She trusted them to help her through this and she didn’t wanna be a halfling anymore. Y/n took in what he had said about the guy that was struggling in Dwayne's grip on his knees was an abusive asshole. She’d be doing the girl a favour by making him disappear. So Y/n let instinct take over and lunged for the guy, teasing into his neck. The boys clapped and hollered in celebration. She was one of them now.
“There’s our girl.” Paul smiled happily; she was now officially one of them.
“Now you're really one of us chika.” Marko smirked mischievously, now they could get into some real mischief together.
“You did good Sweetheart.” Dwayne sent her a comforting proud smile.
“You're one of us now. Sleep all day, party all night, never grow old, never die. It gets easier and it helps that it sate’s a hunger. You did great.” David admired her proudly. Now she truly was theirs forever.
Y/n looked up, dropping the new dead body with blood all over her mouth and she gave them a shy smile. “Thank you.”
“No need to thank us. You're one of us now Y/n. That goes deeper than you know right now.” David walked up to her with a smile on his lips, he reached up and wiped away some of the blood around her mouth. He was proud of her and so were Marko, Dwayne and Paul. Sher finished and completed the transition with just some minor encouragement on their part. The connection between the 5 of them was deeper than she knew or could feel at the moment. Her being a new vampire she’d feel a tug but she wouldn’t know exactly how to place that feeling just yet. But they’d show her. Soon she’d feel the mate connection like they have with her since they first saw her on the boardwalk. “Come. Let's head back.” David placed a hand on her lower back to guide her away so they could go back to the cave and help her clean up and adjust.
Marko and Dwayne threw the body into the fire, covering their girls tracks before following the other 3. All 5 of them ready to celebrate back at the cave with their new member.
Summary: Getting taken in for questioning because your close to Samcro and dating the President of the MC. But you can’t really tell them anything. . .
Authors Note: This was a humorous thought in my head. I enjoyed writing for. Also why is there not more deaf reader stories for anything? I’m not personally deaf but there great stories when you find them.
“We know you are dating Jax Teller.” Unser spoke sitting across from Y/n at the integration table.
“And we know you’ve been around the club. We just want you to tell us what you’ve overheard. That's all.” Hale paced slowly behind Unser with his arms crossed and head turned towards her.
Y/n stared blankly at them. She could read their lips but they didn’t know that so she just stared at them. They knew so much about her but they were seemingly oblivious to the fact she was deaf. Tell them what she overheard? That made her want to laugh hysterically. But it was the perfect situation. She couldn’t even lie to the cops, she hasn’t overheard anything. She physically can’t. And they didn’t seem to be catching on. Plus they have her hands cuffed. She can't exactly sign ASL. But she figured since she was supposed to meet Jax an hour ago he had already tracked her phone location and he would be there soon.
“If you don’t cooperate with us then we can’t help you either.” Unser sighed, sending her a pleading look to give them something so she could be let go eventually.
“I haven’t overheard anything.” It took a lot for Y/n not to smile, it was truly absurd. She talked pretty well thanks to a lot of speech therapy as a kid but that didn’t mean she heard anything they were saying. Because she spoke so well people never assumed she couldn’t hear them.
Hale scoffed at her answer, rolling his eyes. “How could you not overhear anything? You hang out in that clubhouse where they talk business.”
Y/n shrugged, sure she could just tell them she was deaf but because she could read their lips and respond she figured they probably wouldn’t believe her and think she just wanted to get out of talking to them. Which she did and she kinda wanted Hale to suffer a bit of embarrassment when he finds out. Plus they asked if she overheard anything, not what Jax or the other guys had told her directly.
“Um sheriff?” A deputy opened the door, peaking his head in.
“Yeah?” The older man acknowledged waiting for him to speak since it seemed so urgent.
“We have like half of Samcro in the lobby demanding to see her. And that she be released.” He stated, nervously glancing at the 3 people around the room.
“Fucking hell.” Hale cursed, dropping his arms.
“They have a lawyer with them.” The deputy bit his lip anxiously.
So Unser and Hale left the interrogation room to go out and confront Samcro. Unser hated doing this to the MC but he was police chief and he couldn’t not look into things. “What can I do for you gentlemen?”
“We want our girl released.” Gemma spoke up leaning against the counter, taking off her sunglasses.
“Gemma, we're just questioning her-” Unser sighed looking at his long time friend.
“About what?” Bobby spoke up with his hands on the counter at the opposite end of Gemma.
“Just on anything she might have overheard while hanging around all of you.” Hale stated quite smugly with his arms crossed standing behind Unser.
All of them let out laughs and had amused expressions on their faces. Jax stepped forward with a smirk on his lips. “She hasn’t overheard anything.”
Hale raised a brow not believing them for a second. “And how’s that? Considering she’s always there and she’s dating you of all people.”
Jax leaned forward resting his forearms on the counter in front of him. “She’s deaf. She can’t overhear anything. She can’t hear anything at all.”
Unser’s face dropped and he let out a sigh rubbing a hand down his face.
“How come she didn’t mention that? She’s been here for a while.” Hale furrowed his eyebrows.
“Maybe because you should’ve known that already. Or did you miss that piece of information when you were looking into bringing her in.” Tig spoke up crossing his arms with one eyebrow raised while thinking ‘How stupid are they?’.
“Having her here, questioning her without an interpreter present is against the law. No matter how well she can read lips.” The lawyer intervened before she could possibly have to defend more of them today.
“Let her go.” Unser made the decision after taking a deep breath. He didn’t want to deal with a lawsuit.
“But. . .” Hale couldn’t believe they were just going to let her go.
“She’s free to go.” Unser stated making it finale by cutting Hale off.
“This is ridiculous.” Hale shook his head and stormed off.
“Jax.” Unser nodded towards the back as he grabbed his keys, gesturing for Jax to follow him. Jax followed the old Sheriff to the back, ready to get his old lady out of this damn place.
Once Unser opened the door Jax leaned against the doorframe. His signature smile on his lips. As he signed and spoke at the same time. “Hey Darlin. Ready to get out of here?”
Most of Samcro had learned a good amount of sign language since having met Y/n. She was part of their family and with all their different accents and slang used around the club it helped her when reading lips that they signed what they could.
“Absoultly.” Y/n said as Unser uncuffed her.
“I’m sorry for the misunderstanding Y/n.” Unser sent her an apologetic smile.
Y/n smiled at Unser and patted his shoulder in acceptance of his apology.
“Come one Sweetheart.” Jax smiled, opening his arms for her, pulling her into his side and wrapping his arm around her shoulders.
They headed back out to the lobby where the rest of them were waiting. They all greeted her with hugs.
“You alright baby?” Gemma asked after pulling away from a hug, making sure she could see her lip.
“Yeah, I’m alright.” Y/n nodded with a small smile..
“Let’s get the lass out of here.” Chibs signed as he spoke.
Jax grabbed her hand and led her out but not before flipping off Deputy Hale. Once they got back to the clubhouse everyone gathered around.
“So why’d they pick you up?” Juice asked as they all entered the clubhouse.
“Get this.” Jax shook his head half amused and half pissed off.
“They wanted to question me on what I might have overheard being around you guys.” Y/n smirked she had found the reason to be hilarious even though the arrest/questioning had been for a lack of a better word scary.
“Nice.” Happy said, clearly amused.
Jax nudged Y/n and nodded towards the dorms. When Y/n nodded back he grabbed her hand and led her back to his dorm.
“You sure you're okay?” Jax asked, cupping her cheeks in his hands.
“Yeah. I’m okay.” Y/n nodded leaning into his hands as she rested her own on his hips.
“I’m sorry.” Jax apologized stroking his thumbs under her eyes.
“It’s not your fault.” Y/n reached one hand up to cup his cheek, she didn’t want him blaming himself.
“They wouldn’t have taken you in for questioning if it wasn’t for me.” He sighed, dropping his head to hers. Leaning his forehead against hers.
“I love you. I chose you. This is part of being with you. I knew that.” Y/n moved her hand to run through his hair to put his guilt at ease. She knew what she signed up for when she got together with him. Jax this was the first time she was questioned by the police but she didn’t think it’d be the last. “Besides, I can't overhear anything anyways. So they just wasted their time.” She joked trying to lighten his mood.
“I love you Darlin.” Jax smiled stroking her cheek and copying her and using his other hand to brush through her hair. He admired how she handled being with him in his world. But he’d still protect her from it as best he could.
“I love you too.” Y/n smiled, pulling him into a very heated kiss. Taking full advantage of them already being in the privacy of his dorm.
Hello how are thee on this fine day my name might not suggest it but I love the lost boys and you blog looks cool so I thought I'd pop up and say hello! I was wondering if you had wattpad or ao3?
It was a normal right on the boardwalk when Paul headed to the dinner where Y/n worked. A beautiful girl that had caught his attention a while ago. As Paul watched Y/n through the window before entering he saw the older scumbag of a coworker harassing her.
Paul couldn’t take it so he entered the establishment and went up to her at the counter, immediately asking her. “Is he still bothering you?”
“He’s a pain in the ass. So, yes.” Y/n sent him a tight smile as she tilted her head sarcastically.
“Do you want me to just kill him?” He offered ready to do it even if she said ‘no’.
Y/n looked at him from the side as she put some change away. “Thats . . . a joke, right?”
“. . . That depends on how you feel about it, I think.” Paul looked like a puppy caught in the act of doing something it knows it shouldn’t.
“I’ll think about it and let you know.” She replied slowly, finding it odd she grabbed the tip jar.
“Seriously?” Paul looked at her shocked.
Y/n looked at him and raised a brow at his surprise. “Does your offer still stand?”
“Y-yeah.” He stuttered, nodding.
“Then I’ll think about it.” She nodded and went back to counting tips.
“Well, let me know. I’ll gladly gut him for you.” Paul leaned over the counter on his forearms sending her a flirty smile.
Y/n shook her head amused. “How romantic.”
“Always for you babe.” He winked, enjoying that he could amuse her.
“Where are the rest of you boys?” She asked, wondering since she hadn’t seen them all in a couple days. They didn’t seem to split off from each other often.
“Off elsewhere. I came to visit my favorite girl.” Paul shrugged while sending her a sweet smile. He could feel his brothers were around on the boardwalk but he could find them later. They knew where he was anyway.
Y/n laughed. “Sweet talker.”
“Only for you.”
Y/n looked at him with pure disbelief. “I doubt that.”
“You're the only one I mean it with.” And he did. Sure he pulled lines on the girls he lured away to eat. But with the Y/h/c-ed girl in front of him he actually meant the words he said.
Y/n looked at him for a long minute studying his features and she found no sign of lying and Paul wasn’t a good liar. “That I for some reason believe.”
“And you should.” Paul smiled, she could trust him. He wouldn’t betray that trust.
“Oh?” Y/n raised a brow. Most people steered clear of him and his brothers. But Y/n didn’t see why everyone was so judging of them. Sure she was wary at first but after getting to know them all a bit and getting to know Paul the most they weren’t bad guys.
Paul leaned back and placed his hand over his undead heart. “I’d never lie to you babe.”
“Good to know.” It was nice to know as long as he kept to that statement. Y/n did want to go back to his previous offer. “So murder on my behalf?”
“Anything for you.” Paul would kill a thousand people if she asked. Granted he might need help keeping track of the numbers but Marko would gladly join him.
“Bold statement.” Y/n leaned towards him over the counter.
“Bold guy.” Paul smiled confidently.
“Actions speak louder than words.” She countered staring him in the eyes.
“Then give me the go ahead and his organs can be spilled all over the beach.” He wouldn’t normally speak so bluntly about nurder that would be Marko. But Paul felt comfortable and like he could be himself around Y/n. Like she wouldn’t mind the type of conversation he normally had with his brothers. And considering she didn’t know about the vampire thing (yet), all the boys found that fascinating.
“Sounds messy.” Y/n pretended to think about it.
"A little mess never killed anyone. . . Well, except him.” Paul blinked realizing it would at least kill her coworker.
Y/n laughed but then sighed and sent Paul a bummed out look knowing she’s spent to much time chatting with him. “I have to get back to work.”
“When does your shift end?” He stood up straighter, he didn’t want to stop talking to her, maybe she’d let him take her out.
“In 30 minutes. Why?” She answered while whipping down the counter top, so it at least looked as if she was doing her job.
“I wanna take you out after. What do ya say?” Paul was shooting his shot and he hoped she’d say ‘yes’.
Y/n bit her lip. “Depends.”
“Do what?” Now his confident smile dropped slightly and eager concern replaced it. What’d he need to do for her to say ‘yes’. He wanted to know, he’d do anything she just needed to say it.
“How well you keep your word.”
Paul bounced on his feet, eager to prove himself. Especially if it involved killing her coworker. “Let me prove it.”
And it just happened, said coworker passed by and smacked Y/n’s ass with a slimy smirk on his face as he walked away. Paul noticed how tense Y/n got and he was fuming and seeing red.
“Give me the word.” Paul had to hold back the anger he felt and looked at Y/n with determination and a slight pleading to let him loose on this asshole.
“Make it hurt.” Y/n looked at Paul with what he could only describe as hell on wheels in her eyes.
“Promise. See you in 30 babe.” Paul leaned over and pecked her cheek with a kiss and he turned to leave. As he was leaving Paul locked onto his new target's scent. He definitely wouldn’t be showing up to work tomorrow.
Y/n looked around the cafeteria with narrowed eyes. “This is a cesspool.”
“Hey now.” Steve spoke up looking offended at her comment. Especially since he was sitting right next to her.
“Look around. Besides us, am I wrong?” Y/n sat back in her chair looking at Steve with a ‘tell me I’m wrong’ look on her face.
With that said all of them took a good long look around.
“Nope.” Robin agreed with her, she’s not wrong.
“She’s right.” Nancy also agreed with a nod and got back to eating.
“Unfortunately.” Jonathan thought it was unfortunate but true.
“Oh come one now. We’re not all bad.” Billy walked up to the table having heard the conversation and was taking full advantage.
Everyone looked to Billy and as Steve looked over at the smirking dirty blonde he had to agree with Y/n. “Yeah, you were right.”
Billy rolled his eyes. “Harrington.”
“Hargrove.” Steve grumbled out annoyed.
“Why are you over here Billy?” Nancy rolled her eyes at the mullet haired boy.
Billy shrugged his shoulders, licking his lips. “Just wanted to chat.”
“Sure.” Nancy shook her head not believing that was all he was over here for.
“Not to you Wheeler.” Billy rolled his eyes annoyed with the stuck up brunette in his view. “So Y/l/n, what do you say?” He turned his sights to Y/n and his smirk was back in full force.
“To what?” Y/n looked at him confused.
Billy flashed his teeth in a bright smile. “A date with me, Saturday night, drive in.”
“Drive in?” Robin raised a brow in question, ‘seriously the drive in?’ she thought. He really wanted to get laid.
“Good for privacy.” Billy winked, confirming Robin’s thought’s.
“Ewww.” Robin and Nancy said at the same time.
“I think I’m going to throw up.” Steve gagged, leaning forward holding his stomach.
“Privacy huh?” Y/n crossed her arms, not impressed.
“Most definitely.” Billy pushed his hands into his pockets. He clearly thought he was getting somewhere.
“You disgust me.” Y/n made a sour face, grossed out at his admission. She was not going to be another notch on his bedpost.
“Disgust or Arouse?” Billy wiggled his eyebrows.
“Alright enough. Get out of here.” Steve stood up ready for Billy Hargrove to go away, and leave one of his best friends alone. And he may or may not have a crush on said friend.
Billy stared at Steve for a moment contemplating on whether to stay or go. “You’ll change your mind one of these days.” Billy turned his attention toward Y/n ignoring Steve.
“Not likely.” Steve answered before Y/n could.
“Wasn’t talking to you Harrington.” Billy huffed looking back to Stev and clenching his fists.
“Billy, the answer is no. Don’t do this here.” Y/n spoke up trying to deescalate the situation. She really didn’t want them to fight again. She was a friend to both boys and really didn’t want either of them in trouble.
“I’ll do what I -”
“Billy, I was there when the principal told you one more fight this semester and you're suspended. Don’t do it.” Y/n was trying to look out for him and she really hoped he’d listen.
Billy listened and seemed to take in her words and thought it over. “Your lucky Harrington.”
“Uh huh.” Steve watched as Billy retreated, he didn’t want to fight him but he would if need be.
“Steve, we should get to class.” Y/n stated once Billy was gone, effectively changing the subject.
“Yeah, yeah.” Steve nodded as he picked up his backpack and Y/n’s. He was ready to go back to class after this eventful lunch.
“See you after school?” Robin asked, looking between everyone.
“Yeah. We still on for movie night?” Y/n nodded hoping their friend night was still on.
“Yup.” Nancy confirmed and Jonathan nodded confirming he’d show up as well.
“Cool.” Y/n smiled before following Steve out of the cafeteria to go back to class. No sooner did the bell rang to get to their next period.
The rest of the school day was uneventful, after they got out Steve offered to drive Y/n home which she accepted. On the ride home they got to talking.
“Why won’t ge get the fucking memo?” Steve grumbled still not letting the event’s of lunch go.
“Because he has more skull than brain.” Y/n smiled looking at Steve trying to lighten his mood.
Steve smiled at her comment but he wasn’t done. “He’s constantly hitting on you and asking you out.”
Y/n noticed his grip tightened on the steering wheel. “Steve, are you jealous?”
Steve glanced at her confused, or at least playing confused. “Jealous? Of Hargrove? Please.” He scoffed.
Y/n could see in his eyes he wasn’t 100% confident in his words. “Steve. You have nothing to worry about.”
Steve kept switching between glancing at the road and at Y/n. “I’m not worried.”
Steve would never admit it but he was a little worried. He appreciated Y/n reassuring him.
Y/n smiled reaching over to grab and hold his closest hand and squeezed it. “I’m not going anywhere. I promise.”
Hearing her say that reassured Steve and made him feel a lot better. He’d have to make a move soon, which meant he needed to talk to Robin. “Good. Good. Neither am I.”
“Thank you. The resistance will forever be grateful.” Y/n thanked the man who had headed over top secret files that could really help the resistance against the First Order.
“I will continue to help in any way that I can. You need to go quickly before they come and find you.” The older man was worried for her safety, especially since there are First Order spies everywhere.
Right after he spoke they heard screams off in the distance so the both of them got up and headed outside to see new ships had landed strom troopers were everywhere gathering up civilians.
“Please hide. We can’t afford any losses.” Y/n begged turning to the man who had greatly helped the resistance.
“I’ll be fine, my child. It’s you who needs to hide. Go.” He reached up to squeeze her shoulder stressing that it was Y/n who needed to hide more than he did. She was more valuable than himself.
Y/n nodded at him before her and R2 started off heading back towards her ship. Y/n could hear them gaining on her and terrorizing people to know where she went. They didn’t seem to know who she was exactly but they knew a resistance ‘scum’ was there. She had to make sure they didn’t get the hard drive she now had.
“R2, I need you to record a message for me.” R2 complied quickly, recording Y/n standing in front of him.
Meanwhile Kylo Ren had just arrived and was not pleased with the lack of rebels the clones had caught. “Where are they?”
“We think it’s only one, Sir.” One clone spoke up telling their commander.
“And you can’t find one person?” Kylo choked the clone for a minute before dropping the clone and shouting out orders. “Spread out! Find the resistance scum! And bring them to me!”
All the clones immediately got to looking roughly through the people and town to find the Rebel scum and hopefully not be killed themselves. Kylo Ren felt a familiar presence through the force.
^ ^ ^
“R2 I need you to get on the ship and go back to base. Give the message to my mother.” Y/n quickly opened the ship and ran on to set it up for R2 to pilot.
While R2 had followed her on board and was worryingly beeping at her not wanting to leave her behind.
“I know but they aren’t going to stop till they find me and I can’t let them kill anyone there. I’m sure Kylo’s already felt my presence.” Y/n turned to face the blue and white droid and bent down in front of her life long companion. Y/n smiled at the droid laying her hand on his head. “We’ll see each other soon.”
Y/n stood up and exited the ship, she made sure to watch it leave safely before she treaded back to the village with her hands up.
Phasma noticed her and turned, pointing her out to Kylo Ren before speaking. “Stupid of you to turn yourself over.”
“Stupid of you to assume I’d run.” Y/n sasses Phasma back, which caused Phasma to walk over to her and landed a hard punch to the side of Y/n’s face. Causing Y/n to stumble to the ground.
“Phasma! You are dismissed.” Kylo ordered her away so she wouldn’t harm his prisoner any more. At least that's what he told himself and it wasn’t resignal care about the woman on the floor in front of him.
“Is it only you?” He asked, bending down into a squat in front of her.
“You out of all should know I don’t need anyone but myself to do something.” Y/n looked up at the masked man she used to know with a glare. How dare he underestimate her.
“Load her up.” Kylo ordered standing back up to full height.
“Can’t do it yourself?” Y/n struggled against the storm troopers holding on to her arms as they cuffed her and walked her over towards Kylo Ren's ship.
“Watch yourself.” Kylo stated as he followed closely behind watching their every move to make sure they didn’t harm her before he questioned her.
^ ^ ^
“General. Y/n’s ship’s back.” One of the commanders informed the general upon being sent the new information.
Right as Leia turned she heard and saw a rushing R2-D2 which worried her. “Whats wrong, R2?”
R2 told Leia in rushed beeps that he came back alone and Y/n had a message for her.
“Well then we’ll go to the command room and you can show us her message.” Leia gathered herself and turned to the side, Poe stood right at her side with concern. Leia turned to him. “Poe. I want you there and your team.”
“Yes, general.” Poe nodded and he called his team up to the command room while Leia called everyone else necessary to hear the message that awaited them.
R2 rolled up to the command console in the middle of the room and plugged himself into the console to play the holographic video message. “General Leia, mom. I met with our allies and R2 has what I came here for. Shortly after I got what I came for, the First Order arrived. . . Kylo Ren is here. He already knows I’m here and what I came for. I’m sending R2 back with what I came here for. I won’t be with him. They’ll just follow the ship if they don’t get me. I’m sorry.”
Everyone was silent after the message ended before someone spoke up. “General? What do you want to do?” It was clear to everyone Y/n had said goodbye just in case she never made it out.
“General.” Poe turned to Leia, gulping down his panic and nerves about the situation. He was not going to let himself or Leia lose y/n. Leia looked up to Poe waiting for his plan that she knew he had already formed in his head. “Send me. I’ll bring her back.”
“Exaclty what I was thinking.” Leia agreed, she knew how deeply Poe cared for her daughter and he was good at thinking on his feet.
“You guys will distract them so I can get onto the Star Destroyer." Poe turned to his teammates, instructing them just to do anything to distract the First Order long enough for him to get on and get Y/n and then get off.
“You're not going to have long.” Leia stated with urgency as everyone started to get ready to dispatch to save Y/n.
“It shouldn’t take me long to find her.” Poe nodded looking back to Leia.
“Take R2 with you.” Leia told him nodding towards the blue and white droid.
“Won’t two droids be suspicious?” Poe questioned looking down at BB-8 and R2-D2.
“I’ll show you a trick Y/n uses. They’ll never know.” Leia showed Poe Y/n’s trick for undercover missions of using washable paint on the droids to make them look like First Order droids.
“Good luck Poe.” Leia nodded to him as he climbed into an old tie fighter.
“I’ll bring your daughter back.” Poe promised as he looked at Leia one last time before closing the hatch. Luckily these newer First Order tie fighters are able to hold droids.
It didn’t take Poe and his team long to find the Star Destroyer near the planet Y/n had been on.
“Ready?” Poe asked his team through the com’s. Once he got ‘Ready’’s back from each member of his team they started their surprise attack as Poe flew around to an empty hanger and landed.
“I’m in.” Poe said into his private comlink to General Leia.
“Remeber Poe. Time.” Leia reminded him.
“I know.” P{oe exited the tie fighter with the droids.
R2-D2 and BB-8 went over to the droid's controls on the wall and plugged themselves in searching for where Y/n was being held. No one was in the hangar to busy with the attack currently happening to take notice of him or the droids.
“Did you find out where she is?” Poe asked the droids, hoping to hurry this up. The droids told him her location. “Great lead the way.”
^ ^ ^
“What were you there for?” Kylo asked for the umpteenth time.
“I ain’t telling you shit.” Y/n spit at him from her locked up position.
“You will tell me. One way or another.” Kylo walked up to her trying to intimidate her into speaking.
“Screw you.” Y/n growled out glaring at him through his mask.
Kylo tries to search and reach into her mind with the force to get the information, but Y/n was smarter than him and was already blocking him from entering her mind.
“Arggggggghhhh!” He screamed in frustration.
“Not getting anywhere? What a shame.” Y/n snipped sarcastically.
“I will find out.” Kylo pointed at her greeting more and more annoyed and he could feel his anger growing by the second.
“Good luck. We both know I was always the stronger one.” Y/n taunted him. As Y/n studied his behavior she realized he was holding back. Something was holding him back. Kylo kept clenching his fists. “Do it. Hit me. What's holding you back?”
Kylo just stared at her for a moment before he stormed out of the holding cell.
Just as Kylo left and headed to the bridge Poe turned the corner of the hallway telling the droids to head back to the ship and wait for them. They tried to argue with him but he wouldn’t have it.
As he headed to the holding cell that held his woman.
“Y/n?” Poe entered the cell seeing her laying against the wall and rushed over to her making sure she wasn’t hurt to bad.
“Poe-” Y/n furrowed her brow confused and shocked to see him. “What are you doing here?”
“Saving you.” Poe helped her up, Y/n had used the force to free herself the second Kylo had left the room but Poe could see the bruises from that God awful contraption that held her whole body in place for ‘questioning’.
“Did my mom send you?” Y/n asked as he helped her stand on wobbly legs.
“Yes, but I also kinda volentured.” Poe dipped his head knowing she wouldn’t like that he sent himself into a dangerous situation. But he would not leave her behind, besides if she was gone who would have scolded him anyways?
“Oh, thank you Poe.” Y/n smiled up at him sheepishly, she was grateful he had come for her.
“No problem. Now let’s get out of here.” They didn’t have much time left but Poe did place a kiss on her forehead. He’d always come for her just like she would for him. The kiss was a silent promise of that and they both understood it.
As they left the cell and were headed down the hallways Poe noticed the slight limp in her walk. “Are you okay?”
“Yeah, I’m fine.” Y/n nodded, biting her cheek. She wasn’t okay but they didn’t have time to discuss it or worry about it. Besides there was nothing they could do till they got back to base anyways. Y/n looked up at him knowing he would not leave the subject alone if she didn’t change it. “Thanks for coming for me.”
“I’ll always come for you.” Poe’s response was immediate as he wrapped an arm around her waist to help her walk faster.
“I appreciate it.” Y/n sighed at the sight of the tie fighter. Poe helped her the rest of the way and lifted her into the ship. Y/n greeted BB-8 and R2 as Poe climbed in and started the ship.
“Here, call your mom.” Poe handed her the comlink set just to Leia’s as he got the ship out of the hangar.
“Y/n.” Leia was relieved to see her daughter on the other end as Y/n had set it to a hologram video.
“Hey mom.” Y/n smiled a little as it turned to a grimace due to the forming bruise on her cheek bone from Phasma’s hit only hours ago.
“Are you okay?” Leia worried since he couldn’t really tell through the video.
“I’m all intacted.” Y/n nodded, she may be banged up but she wasn’t hurt in a life threatening way.
“We just jumped to hyperspace. So we should be there soon.” Poe spoke a little louder so Leia would hear him before he connected his team, informing them to pull back they were out and safe.
“Then we’ll see you soon.” Leia smiled before ending the call and awaited their return.
“She was really concerned after hearing your message.” Poe told her he wanted to know why Y/n would just turn herself over to Kylo Ren and why Leia was so worried.
“I have a history with Kylo Ren. He’s unpredictable.” Y/n knew later Poe would press when they were alone in their room and this was the best opportunity to bring up her past.
“Why would you just hand yourself over to him?” Poe wanted to yell at her for that stupid decision but right now he was just relieved to have her back.
“I wasn’t going to let them hurt all of those innocent people because they couldn’t find me. Besides once I knew Kylo was there - he would’ve killed all of them.” Y/n told him. She’d tell him her past with Kylo later.
“I love that you have a big heart but please don’t ever do that again.” Poe pleaded with her, he didn’t want to lose her.
“I make no promises.” Y/n joked hoping to ease the weight of the conversation.
“Then I’ll just have to got with you from now on.” Poe glanced at her with a smile and look in his eyes that Y/n knew meant she wouldn’t be going alone on any missions anytime soon.
“I wouldn’t mind the company.” Y/n leaned her head against his shoulder as they both intertwined their hands together.

Summary: A: “Could you be nice for once?” B: “. . . Mm. If I withhold my comment does that count?” Prompt #2861
Authors Note: I got into a rabbit hole with this movie for a while in 2025. To the point where I bought it on Movies Anywhere and watched it over and over every night falling asleep to it and did this routine for like 2 months. Its to the point everytime I see a bus or my mom does we go “Bus bus bus”.
“So why are we here again?” Y/n asked her best friend as she took a sip of her champagne wondering why her friend needed to be at this event.
“I’m scouting a car for Ingram.” Julia told her taking a sip from her own glass as she glanced at the mustang in the middle of the room.
“I’m guessing it’s the car in the center of the room.” Y/n quirked a brow in question even though it was obvious. It was a nice car, Y/n would admit that but it was priced way to high.
“Yup. And the seller is Dino Brewster.” Julia tilted her head to the side giving Y/n a knowing look.
Y/n scoffed, rolling her eyes. “Mmm good old Dinno.”
Julia sighed. “Don’t-”
And as if he was summoned Dino was approaching them. “Julia. It’s good to see you.”
“Dino.” Julia greeted politely as he leaned in, giving her a cheek kiss.
“Y/n.” Dino sent her a nod, his smile completely gone.
Y/n sent him a tight lipped smile. It was obvious the pair did not like each other in the slightest. “Dino.”
Julia cleared her throat trying to break the growing tension. “So who’d you find that finished this?”
Dino turned his attention back to Julia and he reluctantly offered to introduce her to the people who finished the car. “They’re actually over here if you’d like to meet them.”
Y/n lowered her glass with a smirk pulling at her lips. “Lets.”
Dino gave an annoyed smile before leading the two women to the group of men who had worked on the car. “Gentlemen.”
“Dino.” Pete greeted while the rest of them just silently acknowledged him.
“This is Julia and Y/n. Julia is looking to hear about the car from the men who finished it.” Dino explained his reunion for coming over to speak to them.
“My buyer would like to know more about the car then I’m sure Dino knows.” Julia smiled at them hoping to make a good impression since they obviously didn’t like Dino. But who could blame them?
“Well-” Dino opened his mouth to argue and defend his ego.
“Oh come on Dino we all know you were just the supplier.” Y/n smiled mischievously as she raised her glass to her lips. She knew full well what she just did and she was reveling in undermining him. And it was clear to everyone what she had just said and its purpose, making all the mechanics try to hide their smirks of amusement.
“What do you wanna know?” Tobey shoved his hands in his pants pockets trying to change the subject and hone in on his own amusement at the dig to Dino.
“I’ll leave you to it. When you want to talk about real business, come find me.” Dino rolled his eyes, trying to rain in his anger before leaving to do anything else.
Y/n shouldered him as he turned to leave. As she watched him Y/n spoke. “Oh I’ll find him but not to talk business. More like to-”
“Could you be nice to him for once?” Julia sighed, this happened every time they ran into Dino. As entertaining as it was it also could get very heated and Julia didn’t want Dino to try and raise the price more.
Y/n turned her attention back in front of her and hummed. “. . . Mm. If I withhold my comment does that count?”
Julia sighed knowing she wouldn’t change the situation, so she turned her attention back to the men Dino said worked on the car. “Anyways. . . “
Julia asked some questions and the guys answered. Then Julia got a call from Ingram and left Y/n with them while she took the call.
“So you aren’t a fan of Dino’s?” Joe spoke up first, trying to make a conversation with this friend of ‘Julia’.
Y/n tilted her head with an amused smile on her lips. “What gave it away?”
“The high levels of animosity to start with. I’m Pete.” Pete smiled, holding out his hand and Y/n took it.
“Y/n.” She smiled, shaking his hand. Tobey, Finn, and Joe all introduced themselves as well.
Y/n nodded before glancing at the car and then back to the guys. “You all did a great job on the car. And to answer your question, it's very simple really. Dino is a pompous dick who could be knocked down a few pegs.” She smirked.
“Ain’t that the truth.” Joe nodded in agreement, at least this girl wasn’t fooled like so many.
“If you hate Dino why come?” Tobey shifted his weight on his feet, squinting his eyes in question.
Y/n turned her attention to the blonde blue eyed man in front of her and she shrugged, sending him a genuine smile. “Because I wanted to see the car and to support and spend time with Julia.”
Right after Y/n answered that Julia came back and asked them a couple questions about the car that no doubt Ingram had added. Not long after Julia went to talk to Dino and Y/n went to the open bar for another drink. As Y/n was standing there as the bartender handed her her drink she felt someone come up beside her. That someone was Tobey.
“So.”
“So.” Y/n copied turning to face him.
“Are you free tomorrow?” Tobey asked quite awkwardly with a slight tilt of his head.
“Possibly. Why?” Now she was curious.
“Well your friend wants to see how fast the car can actually go. I was wondering if you’d like to come along?” Tobey knew he didn’t sound as confident as he’d like but she didn’t seem to mind.
“Who says I wasn’t already? But since your asking. Yes, I’ll come one on condition.” Y/n teased him, talking with him felt easy. It also helped that he was as nervous as she felt on the inside.
“And what’s that?” Tobey smiled wondering what she could possibly want.
“I wanna be in the car when you get it to 230mph.” Y/n looked him in the eyes and he could tell right away she was serious.
“You wanna be in the car?” Tobey raised his brow in shock and his curiosity just grew even more for this girl.
“100%. Speed doesn’t scare me.” She told him with so much confidence that Tobey didn’t see an ounce of doubt.
Tobey smiled and gave her a nod, a promise. If she wanted to be in the car, fine by him. “Alright.”
Y/n smiled happily that he was willing to let her be in the car even if it was just to test her and see what she was made of. “See ya then.”
With that Y/n shyly looked away biting her lip and left to find Julia. Make sure her friend knew she was coming the next day.
“So no more Anitia?” Joe asked, coming up next to his friend, having overheard most of the conversation between the two. He liked this girl, well they all did and they barely knew her.
Tobey sighed but he had a small smile growing on his face at the thought of moving on, and moving on with Y/n looked like a possibility. “I don’t think so. No more Antia.”
“Yes!” Finn yelled out, raising his arms in the air celebrating his friend moving on. All the while Pete smiled happy to see the man he views like his brother to be moving on from his sister. And Joe, he patted Tobey on the back smiling as well, happy that his friend was moving on and could finally be in a happy relationship again possibly.
“I’m never gonna get this.” Y/n let out a frustrated sigh, she’d been trying with a crossbow for 3 days and wasn’t getting any better.
“Yes, you will.” Peter countered, he understood her frustration. All other weapons she took to were easy for her, just not this one.
“I suck at this. I haven’t even hit the target once.” Y/n turned her head to his direction where he leant against a nearby tree.
“You’ll be an expert in no time.” He encouraged knowing she could do it. He believed in her.
“How?” She raised a brow at him.
“I’ll help you. Now face forward and raise the crossbow.” Peter stepped over to her, directing her to face the target again as he stepped up behind her, chest touching her back. “Good. Now shoot.” he whispered in her ear after fixing her posture.
Y/n did as he said, following his instructions and as the arrow hit the target it hit spot on. “I hit it!”
“Yes, you did.” Peter smiled at her excitement, wrapping his arms around her waist and rested his chin on her shoulder.
“Thank’s.” Y/n leant back into him and turned her head to kiss his cheek.

Summary: New Years Eve, some first's happen, first 'I Love You's' are said, Jax can play the waiting game.
Authors Note: For all Chapters go to 'Series Masterlist'. Sorry it took so long guys, This is a shorter chapter. I'm not done with the next one but it will be ending it w a cliff hanger and coming to a major part of the story, finally!
“So this new years eve party will be like Christmas Eve but more party-ie. More booze.” Y/n explained to Bucky as they laid in bed together enjoying the lazy morning.
Bucky traced patterns along Y/n’s side as he listened intentionally. He appreciated that she wanted him to be prepared. “Got it.”
Y/n moved to lay on top of his chest smiling amusedly. “I think you blew their minds when you spoke of your business.”
Bucky smirked letting out an amused laugh. “Jax was speechless about just the brewery before that.”
“Thanks for not mentioning the mob part.” It wasn't any of their business and it wasn’t information that needed to be known. Don’t get her wrong she isn’t ashamed that he is a mobster, she just doesn’t feel its anyone’s business. But Y/n felt her family here in Charming simply doesn’t need to know. “As far as they know you don’t know about what they deal in either.”
Bucky nodded, running his hand along her back under her shirt. “I figured as much. Till you want them to know they don’t need to know.”
Bucky had the means to not care if they knew about his empire, underground or legit. He could not be intimidated. However Bucky didn’t want to rush her, just like he eased her into his lifestyle of money and later on the Mob side. So he wanted to let her decide on the pace of which they revealed his life to those she considered family.
Y/n looked at him with her brows furrowed in confusion. Why was he always letting her call the shots? That was something she was still getting use to and confused about. “Shouldn’t that be your choice? Your decision?”
Bucky lifted his flesh hand and caressed between her brows where she had caused the skin to crease. They were building a life together and he wanted them to make decisions together. He would not dictate their lives or control her’s. “It’s our decision. It’s our life.”
The look that he was looking at her with made Y/n’s heart feel things it had never felt before. Really good things though. “You mean so much to me.”
Bucky moved his hand to hold her cheek as he broke out into a huge smile. “And you mean so much to me. More than I can put into words.” He was more thankful she walked into his life than he knew how to explain. Bucky never thought he’d meet someone he could truly love and be with, not with his line of work or his amount of money. Women always only wanted him for his money. Then there was the Mob part that he knew very few could handle let alone stay after knowing. Bucky ran his hand through her hair before continuing. “I know that this place wasn’t the best for you and I know you got your heartbroken. And I hate that that happened to you. . . But I wouldn’t change a thing. Because it lead you to me.”
Y/n could feel her eyes tearing up as she mirrored his smile. She wouldn’t either since it led them to meeting. “I wouldn’t change a thing either.”
Her agreeing and feeling the same way meant a lot considering the circumstances that lead to her leave. “I believe we are meant to be together. I wouldn’t trade a thing that's happened to me or to you because it led us to each other."
“I believe so too.” Y/n had thought about how well they both fit into each other's lives incredibly well.
“Ya do?”
Y/n nodded her head with certainty as she thought over in her head what she wanted to reply with and it didn’t take her long. “I think we’re made for each other. . . I love you.”
Upon hearing those words, those 3 little words that held such great meaning Bucky teased before visibly brightened and got immensely happy. “You love me?”
Y/n giggled at his reaction before confirming. “I love you.”
Bucky couldn’t contain his smile, especially that he felt the same. “I love you. You're my doll, my girl, woman, my queen. I want no one else.”
What surprised her the most was she believed him. She believed every word that came out of his mouth. Y/n leaned forward and touched her forehead to his. “I want no one else either."
“Good. Cause you're mine.” Bucky knew it sounded possessive but he didn’t care and it didn’t seem to bother her either. They had just said ‘I love you’ to each other for the first time and it was a long time coming.
And considering the two did just say ‘I love you’ for the first time they took the morning to celebrate by staying in bed and doing certain activities that Mox was locked out of the room for during that time. After showering together where another round of celebrating happened they got dressed, which took awhile since they couldn’t keep their hands off each other. But they did tell Gemma they’d help her set up the clubhouse for the party.
So they took off after they ate a late lunch with Moxley in tow to the clubhouse to help. It didn’t take to long to set up all the streamers and new years party decorations. And it turned out Gemma decided because Y/n would be leaving soon to have their new years party be more intimate like christmas day this year.
When Gemma came back in she asked. “You got everything?”
“I believe so. Oh wait! Moxley’s bowtie.” Y/n went to her bag pulling out the doggy bowtie she had gotten for him.
“Opie brought somethin for your pup.” Piney spoke up as he watched her with a fond smile. Some of the guys arrived early, Piney and Opie being one of them. But by now everyone had arrived, Gemma had told them if they wanted more time with Y/n being home then they should come early.
“Yeah. Come here Mox.” Opie got up and called the pup to follow him. He wanted it to be a surprise.
It was only a moment before Mox came running back into the room, straight to Y/n and she smiled seeing her pup in a new years hat. “Oh my God. That's so cute!”
Opie smirked as he came back into the room proud of himself. “I thought you’d like it.”
“I do.” She sent her brother a warm smile.
“He seems to like it.” Jax pointed out from a bar stool, having noticed the young labrador wasn’t trying to take it off.
“He actually seems proud.” Tig laughed.
As it got closer to the end of the night Jax knew he needed to have a talk with Y/n. He just hoped she’d be willing.
“Y/n. Can I talk to you for a second?’ Jax asked once Bucky was busy talking to Opie a bit away.
“Uh, yeah okay.” Y/n nodded and got up to follow Jax outside to talk. Honestly she knew it was coming and it was better if they did because the sooner they talked the sooner they could move on. Or at least she hoped so. Once they were outside they came to a stop and faced each other. “What’s up?”
Jax sighed knowing what needed to be said. “I just wanted to apologise and I’m hoping in this new year we could get back to where we were.”
Whether he meant it or not she didn’t know, but Y/n hoped he was being truthful. “It’s awkward after everything and it will be for awhile but I’d like to get back to when we were friends.”
Jax smiled, he knew it wouldn’t be a fast process to mend what he broke but he could be patient. Just like he would be patient and wait for this ‘Bucky’ faze to fizzle out. “Me too.”
Bucky had noticed Y/n leave out to the lot with Jax, but he knew she could handle herself and Bucky trusted her. When Jax came back inside and Y/n leaned against the doorjam, Bucky went over to her and reached for her waist. “You okay?”
Y/n smiled appreciating him checking in. “Yeah. I think so.”
Did she fully trust or believe Jax? She didn’t know, differently not 100%. She’d be cautious letting him back into her life.
“Alright everyone outside for the firework show.” Clay announced and everyone moved outside to the lot.
Everyone started the countdown as it approached midnight. As it did Bucky held Y/n closer, like many other couples did: Opie and Donna, Clay and Gemma.
Once the clock hit midnight the fireworks were lit and cheers came from everyone around. Couples kissed, Moxley barked excitedly running around near where Y/n and Bucky stood by the picnic tables. Taking him when they went shooting helped with the sound not bothering him. Y/n and Bucky kissed and the two didn’t pull away till they both needed air as their lungs burned.
“I love you.” Bucky panted as he took in much needed air. But now that the flood gates had been opened in their relationship he knew he'd always make sure she knew how much he did indeed love her.
Y/n reached her hands up into his short hair mirroring his panting as she tried to catch her breath. She couldn’t help but giggle, feeling overwhelmingly happy. “I love you.”
Meanwhile Jax watched on as he drank a beer. He could play the waiting game. He had all the time in the world.

“Thanks for coming Y/n/n.” Opie hugged his baby sister tightly as they said their goodbyes. Y/n and Bucky had cleaned up the rental house and packed everything up. They headed to Opie's house where they could say goodbye to him and Piney before they got on the jet to go back.
“I’m glad I did.” Y/n spoke into his shoulder holding him just as tightly as he was her. Y/n blinked away tears hoping they wouldn’t fall.
The siblings pulled away and Opie turned to bucky letting out a watery laugh. “Thanks man. For getting her to change her mind and come.”
Bucky sent him a nod of understanding. “Thanks for letting me tag along.”
Opie smiled, shaking his head as the two bro hugged. “Man, you're welcome anytime.”
“Your family now son.” Piney nodded to Bucky. He liked the guy which he didn’t expect to. But he could see how much Bucky cared about Y/n;s happiness and safety. Piney shook his hand. “Thank you for bringing my daughter home.”
Bucky felt pride in having won over not just her brother but also her father. Bucky could see the emotions moving through Piney’s eyes. “I’ll watch out for her. I promise.”
Bucky couldn't imagine how much the man missed his daughter. Hell Bucky missed her after a day, and he can just drive to see her. And he didn’t even want to imagine having his daughter be across the country from him.
Piney nodded and as he turned his attention back to his daughter and he thought to himself ‘Nows the hard part’.
“Bye dad.” Y/n’s voice wavered as she stepped forward to hug him.
“Bye princess. Be safe. Call me often.” Piney said into her hair as he kissed the side of her head.
“I will.” Y/n promised as they pulled apart, Y/n and Bucky got into the car and headed off to the airport.
Bucky glanced over at his girl in the passenger seat, worried about her and how she was feeling. “Are you going to be okay?”
Y/n sent him a watery, almost teary smile. “It’s harder leaving this time than the last. But I also don’t want to stay.”
Bucky understood, he imagined this was harder for her than the first time. “Remeber what I said. Just say the word.”
And he meant it. He’d have the jet ready within the hour if she wanted to go anywhere. And he’d drop everything and go with her, in a heartbeat.
She smiled at him and lifted their intertwined hands and kissed the back of his hand. Her heart bursting with love for this man. “Let’s go home.”
