masterlist || Sticky & Sweet
You watched as Wanda completed her kick flip with grace, practically a ballerina with a skateboard. You were sitting on the stairs pretending to read a book you swore you were interested in, but instead you were trying not to get caught drooling over your best friend.
Wanda was someone who typically kept to herself, especially after moving to town and only knowing her twin brother. That was of course, until she met you. Quiet, aloof, always wearing a beanie despite the weather outside and she couldn’t help but take interest.
“Do you skate?” She’d asked you one day, looking you up and down. You shook your head no but she took your hand and pulled you towards the skate park near school and you had nothing else better to do so you didn’t argue. She’d gotten you to open up and there wasn’t a single thing you didn’t know about each other. Well or so you thought.
Out of breath, she joined you on the stairs and closed your book in your hands. You were about to protest as she started patting herself down and looking through her backpack.
“Wands-“
“I know it’s here!”
“Wanda, what are you looking for?”
“Oh uh… I like to smoke after I skate…but I must’ve left my joint at home,” she sighed.
“Oh… well… I can come with you if you want?” You offered, not really sure what else to do with your afternoon.
“Really? You would?” She asked, her eyes glimmering.
“Yeah of course. You’re my best friend!” You told her. She smiled widely and stood up, reaching for your hand to pull you along. Calling her your best friend hurt your own feelings but that’s what the two of you are so you left it at that.
Wanda told you how she’d normally skate home too but with you by her side and no board, she’d walk. You laughed and thanked her for her kindness, which earned a chuckle from the brunette as well. You approached her house and you tried to keep your wits about you. Not only were you about to be inside Wanda’s family home, but it was huge!
The large front doors opened with Wanda’s key and the two of you stepped inside. Pietro was downstairs on the couch, looking up at Wanda’s entrance from the living room. The foyer was grand and had a large chandelier and marble flooring. You’d never been in a house this nice and it felt like you stepped foot into a museum. “Ooooh Wanda brought a girl home!!”
“Shut it, Pietro!” She said, her cheeks burning red.
You figured you’d wait until you were alone to tease her about that later. “C’mon, let’s go upstairs to my room,” Wanda said, tugging on your hand again. You nodded and followed her lead, up the large staircase and at the end of the hall, was her bedroom. When she opened her door, the room smelled just like her. The room looked just like her also. A stark contrast to the white marble covering the rest of the house.
Wanda’s bed was unmade and her walls were covered in band posters. String lights were draped across the ceiling and some of the walls were covered in photos of her and her brother as kids. Her vanity was in a disarray; makeup and jewelry lying everywhere. The room was far from neat and tidy but it made you smile because it just screamed Wanda.
“Make yourself comfy, I’ll be right back,” she said smiling. She walked into the adjoined room, her bathroom it seemed, and you climbed onto her bed. It was soft and plush and smelled of Wanda even more. You sat cross legged and waited for Wanda’s return, fiddling with the fraying hem of your shirt. She walked back in, having completely changed her outfit, opting for something more comfortable instead. A large t-shirt and soft shorts seemed to be her go-to.
You watched carefully as she lit her joint, the lighter cracking as she attempted to set flame to the end of it. You watched as she inhaled and exhaled quite a bit of smoke. Wanda walked over to the bedroom window and opened it just a little, not wanting to alert anyone to her shenanigans it seemed. “Ahh so much better,” she sighed.
You watched her with unintentional heart eyes; Wanda looking even more attractive as she smoked. She joined you on the bed as she took another hit and you watched in awe. “Wanda? What’s it like.. ya know… being high?” You asked sheepishly.
"For me? It’s an amazing way to unwind after a long day or even just unwinding after I skate for too long," the brunette said, blowing the smoke away from your face.
"Oh. That’s cool.. Can I try? Or maybe you could teach me.. but only if you want you don't have too!" You rambled, blushing at your nerves.
“You want to try?! I’ve been dying to ask you but I didn’t want to pressure you, obviously-“
“Yes I want to. And I trust you Wanda,” you said confidently.
Wanda beamed in excitement and advised you not to move, that she would be right back. She remembered that you love goldfish and Pringles for snacks and grabbed a bunch of juice from the kitchen since you didn’t like to drink water. She ran back upstairs, joint between her lips and snacks and juice bottles stuffed in her arms. You chuckled nervously as she put them down on her night table. “What is that for?” You asked, eyeing her curiously.
“In case you get the munchies!” Wanda said, giggling.
“Oh so that’s a real thing!” You said, laughing.
“Very much so!!!” Wanda giggled. You watched as she took another hit, blowing the smoke away from your face again. She sat on her bed next to you, the joint in her mouth so she had two free hands. Wanda grabbed your hips and quickly situated you in her lap as you screeched.
“Wanda what the!-“ you yelled.
“Shhhh I’m going to teach you,” she said, her voice raspy and deep now; sending a shiver down your spine. You nodded, looking into her green eyes that reminded you of forests and grass and emeralds. The whites of her eyes were glossy and red, a telltale sign of her smoking.
“I’m going to shotgun a hit with you, okay? It’s a much smoother way to have your first time than trying to inhale from the joint itself,” Wanda said, brushing your hair behind your ear.
“Okay,” you whispered nervously. You’d never been this up close and personal with Wanda before and you were trying to keep your wits about you.
“Alright. I’m going to take a hit from the joint and then I’m going to push the smoke into your mouth and you’re going to inhale slowly, okay sweet girl?” Wanda asked quietly.
Your cheeks heated up at the pet name but nonetheless you nodded. “I need words, honey,” she said, wanting actual, full consent.
“Y-yes Wanda, okay,” you said in addition to another nod. You’re just friends and she’s just high. No other reason for the sweet names. She smiled at you and looked into your eyes as she took the hit, gently grabbing your jaw with her ring clad fingers as she kept your mouth open for the hit. For a moment, her lips nearly touched yours and she blew the smoke into your mouth. You inhaled as slow as you could, still coughing a little as your lungs adjusted to the smoke.
“And exhale,” Wanda instructed, letting go of your jaw. You turned your head to blow the smoke away from her face and she smiled. Her hands were on your hips to keep you steady in her lap, and she smiled at you.
“If I didn’t know any better, I would have thought you were trying to kiss me,” you said, looking at Wanda.
“And what if I was?” She asked, her voice gravelly and deep.
“I- I dunno,” you stammered, heart beating out of your chest.
“Shhhh, don’t think, pretty girl. I see the way you look at me when you think I’m not looking. Or the way you try not to drool as you watch me skate,” Wanda teased, her fingers slipping beneath your shirt a little; the cold touch of her fingertips making you shiver.
“Open,” she husked, tapping your jaw gently. You watched as she took another hit of her joint, getting incredibly close to your face once more, tilting your chin up and blowing it into your mouth. You inhaled again, feeling even more floaty than you did before; blowing the smoke away from Wanda’s face; except this time she grabbed your jaw again, kissing you on the lips. You unintentionally moaned in response; her soft lips on yours causing quite a stir in your lower abdomen.
After sharing a few more hits, she continued to kiss you, your brain already foggy from the weed. Her tongue swiped against your lips and you allowed it, opening your mouth to let her in. Even with the most minimal of thoughts, this was indeed the hottest kiss you’d ever had. “Did I make you feel needy, pretty girl?” Wanda snickered.
You hadn’t realized your hips had a mind of their own, grinding in Wanda’s lap slowly. You couldn’t deny it, you’d had feelings for your best friend for a while, and being intoxicated only amplified how you felt. You hummed in response, feeling her hands on your hips again and her lips against your jaw. Wanda was pressing small kisses to your skin as she explored your body, leaving a small love bite on your neck as you continued to grind in her lap.
“Sound so pretty when you’re needy,” Wanda cooed, an out of body experience again because you hadn’t realized any noise was coming out of your mouth.
“Please Wanda,” you whispered.
“You know anyone could walk in here right now, and see what a mess you’re making in my lap. I can feel how wet you are, love,” Wanda teased.
You whined at her teasing, mind too hazy from the hits of her joint that you were given to give a proper response. Your school uniform skirt was bunched at your hips, your underwear sticky as you ground against Wanda’s thigh without a care in the world. It wasn’t enough friction for you to reach your high but the weed had made you incredibly horny. Wanda held your hips still for a moment and pecked kisses to your lips in an attempt to satiate you.
“I promise once we’re sober, we’ll do this right.”
I can't believe we've been friends for about two years now! Thank you for being an amazing friend and for being so supportive. Hopefully somewhere in the near future I can wreck you 😏 I hope you have a wonderful day and enjoy this fic ❤️ I know you love yourself some Wanda 😉

You were currently moving out of your house temporarily, as there were some plumbing issues that couldn’t be fixed for a few weeks. Luckily, your good friend Wanda was willing to let you move in with her for a bit.
You were packing up some boxes when you got a call from Wanda.
“Hey Wanda, what’s up?” You asked.
“I’m heading over to pick you up and pack up the last of your things,” Wanda said.
“Oh, no you don’t have to do that, I can drive myself,” you replied.
“I insist. It’s the least I can do with the situation you’re in,” Wanda said sweetly.
“You’re just too kind,” you replied, with slight sarcasm coating your voice.
“Hey, don’t push it. Remember, I make the rules at my house,” Wanda teased, making you turn slightly red.
Your silence was enough to let her know that she flustered you, so she continued talking.
“I’ll be there in about ten minutes. Don’t be all red when I get there,” Wanda said, as she ended the call.
You quickly ran around to get the last of your things. A moment later, you heard her car pull up.
“Hey friend,” Wanda said, walking over to the door.
“Snazzy ride you got there. Although, you do realize you could’ve just picked me up and flew?” You asked.
“All I hear is that you wanted me to pick you up,” Wanda said with a wink. You huffed and rolled your eyes, as she gave you a playful poke to the ribs.
“Come on Y/N, no time to pout.
You got into the passenger seat of the car, and Wanda turned on the engine.
“You comfy?” Wanda asked.
“As comfy as I’ll ever be,” you said, as Wanda shot you a look of warning.
“What? I’m just answering your question,” you said with a shrug.
The drive was about an hour away, which wasn’t quite enough time for you to nap unfortunately. You then decided to take out some gum to chew on, taking out two sticks to have enough to blow a bubble.
“Y/N, careful with the bubbles, I don’t want gum splattering all over my car,” Wanda said, eyeing you carefully.
You responded by blowing a bubble in her face, bursting into laughter as she quickly leaned out of the way.
“Y/N, that’s it,” Wanda said, reaching over to give your ribs and sides some quick squeezes. You yelped as the bubble popped and you jerked away from her.
“Stohohohop,” you giggled out, trying your best to wiggle out of her grasp.
“You’re lucky I’m driving and can’t full on wreck you,” she commented, as you temporarily stopped blowing bubbles.
The two of you chatted for a bit more, until silence fell again. You secretly liked when she tickled you, so you decided to annoy her again. You chewed the gum some more, making sure it was a nice wad to blow a bubble with. However, you forgot that Wanda could read minds, so she was one step ahead.
Right as you were about to blow the bubble, you felt her magic wisping over your stomach and sides, and partly on your lower back. You gasped at the ticklish sensation, biting your lip to not burst out laughing.
“What’s wrong, Y/N? Can’t blow any more bubbles?” Wanda asked with a smirk.
You wanted to blow one badly to annoy her, but you knew if you opened your mouth at all, giggles would pour out. You slowly let the bubble come out, careful to not laugh. She then upped the strength of her magic, making you bark out in laughter. The bubble then exploded all over your face, much to Wanda’s amusement.
“That’s what you get for being cheeky!” Wanda said, with an evil laugh.
You groaned, knowing that it would take forever to clean off.
You finally had arrived at her house, and you immediately went into the bathroom to clean up. Wanda felt slightly bad, so she unpacked all of your stuff while you were in the bathroom.
You came out to the living room to find Wanda watching TV while waiting for you to be done. You snuck up behind her, eager for revenge. In a split second, you pounced on her, pinning her to the couch.
“Y/N! What are you doing?” Wanda asked.
“Getting revenge since you won’t let me annoy you,” you giggled with glee, as you reached down to tickle her sides.
“Awww, is the big bad witch ticklish?” You teased, lowering your hands to squeeze her hips, causing her to buck against you.
“STAHAHAHAP PLEHEHEASE!” She shouted.
“Wow someone’s eager with all the bucking,” you teased, smirking down at her. You made eye contact with her, and while she was still laughing from the tickling, there was a certain eagerness in her eyes.
You raised an eyebrow at her, continuing to tickle her.
“Come on Wanda, use your words,” you teased, as you slipped your hands into her underarms, making her squeal.
“IHIH CAHAHAN’T!” Wanda gasped, as you pinned her hands above her head.
“Hey friend. Are you sure we’re just friends?” You smirked down at her, before leaning down to kiss her. You temporarily stopped tickling her so she could properly kiss you.
It was probably the best kiss you had experienced. Her lips were soft and warm, and you couldn’t help but smirk against her lips. However, you felt her wiggling a bit and you knew she was trying to find a way out. You kept her wrists in one hand and used your other to reach down to tickle her side, while still kissing her.
She let out a muffled squeal, squirming underneath you, as you prevented her giggles from escaping with your lips.
“What was that? I can’t quite hear you,” you teased, tickling her a little harder, before letting her up as she tapped out.
“Y/N, you are so dead,” Wanda said, panting before chasing you into the bedroom.
She used her powers to pin you eagle spread to the bed, making sure you had no chance in escaping.
“You. Little. Troublemaker.” Wanda said, floating over to you.
“Hey, I didn’t hear you complaining when I kissed you,” you teased, making Wanda blush this time.
“Okay so maybe I liked it. Doesn’t mean I’m not gonna punish you for that, you little sneak,” Wanda said, now sitting on your shins.
“You’re not going anywhere,” Wanda warned, now tickling your feet.
You tried your hardest not to laugh, but you were overcome by the sensation and began to laugh out loud.
“WAHAHANDA STAHAHAHAP IHIHIM SOHORRY!” You tried kicking, but were completely immobile.
“I’ll stop when I feel like you’ve had enough punishment. And I know that apology wasn’t real,” Wanda said, continuing to rake her nails up and down your poor soles.
You continued to laugh underneath her torture. She then moved up to sit on your hips and began to lightly tickle your ribs, causing you to snort and resist against her powers. You jumped slightly when she hit a spot on the right side of your ribs.
“What’s this? Bad spot?” Wanda asked curiously, pressing in a little more on the middle part of your right ribs.
“NOHOHO NOHOHOT THEHEHERE!” You shouted, panicking as she had found a death spot.
“Oh I will absolutely tickle you here,” Wanda said, now full on tickling you, making you laugh hysterically. Wanda was enjoying this very much.
She bent down to blow a raspberry and tickled your sides at the same time, making you a laughing mess.
She gave you a little bit of time to calm down, as you were red in the face.
“Poor little Y/N, don’t you know I always have the last laugh?” Wanda asked, lightly scratching at your inner thighs, making you squirm.
“Just say yes, and you’re all mine,” Wanda smirked, as you giggled out and nodded your head.
Wanda winked at you before giving you the most pleasurable experience you ever imagined. You sighed in glee afterwards, looking over at the clock.
“Hey, it’s past midnight,” you commented.
“Oh well would you look at that. Happy birthday Y/N!” Wanda said, giggling at your state right now.
“I guess this counts as my birthday present?” You asked.
“I can spare a few more gifts,” Wanda said teasingly. That night, you received a couple more gifts, with each one getting better and better.
I managed to push myself into writing a small something!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY @pegasusflight77! I’m so thankful you’re in my life and I miss you so much, hopefully we can reunite soon, but for now enjoy this fic 💕

“Y/N, wake uuuup~”
You opened your eyes to see your wife, Wanda, smiling gently down at you, you couldn’t help but smile back.
“Happy birthday honey.” She greeted, pressing a kiss on your cheek and taking your hand so you could sit up. She then gave you a tray with some pancakes and your favourite drink. The pancakes were topped with raspberries and syrup.
“You made me breakfast in bed?” You asked, unable to hold back a smile as she put the tray on your lap.
“Of course, I’m gonna spoil you silly today, and don’t worry, those aren’t gonna be the only raspberries you get today.” She winked cheekily as she poked your nose. “Now tuck in.”
You blushed at her comment, smiling shyly as you started eating your pancakes, knowing you had to be on edge for an onslaught of tickles at some point today.
Wanda treated you to a wonderful birthday, you had a picnic in the park and she took you kayaking despite her being a little anxious about it, and then the day finished with dinner at your favourite restaurant. It was your stereotypical lovey-dovey birthday with your lover, but that didn’t matter, you were with your wife and you got spoilt rotten.
The two of you were cuddled on the couch, having a movie marathon with snacks and wine, but you had soon come to realise that she was yet to attack you with tickles, so it was probably imminent.
You couldn’t help but wonder if she forgot, you had mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, you loved tickles, you loved the feeling of letting go and laughing whilst being close to Wanda, and you equally loved watching Wanda laugh under your teasing touch. On the other hand, you didn’t want to seem too desperate for it or bother her for it if she didn’t want to. You sat on the couch, conflicted as the movie came to an end.
Wanda could sense something was up, and she was almost certain that she knew what you were thinking about. Smirking, she gently glided her nails up and down your side.
You flinched, immediately knowing that she hadn’t forgotten, you bit back a smile and hid in Wanda’s shoulder, knowing full well what was about to happen.
“Aw, how could I forget? You almost got away with not getting your birthday tickles~” Wanda teased, pulling you close to her and wrapping her arms around your waist so you couldn’t escape.
“Wanda nonono you don’t have to do this!” You squealed out, fighting back giggles as Wanda skittered her nails into your sides.
“Awww but I can’t let you escape without your birthday tickles!” She teased, nuzzling her nose into your neck as she moved up to your ribs and shook it gently, smiling as you arched your back and burst into giggles. She made sure to hold you tight so you couldn’t get away.
“NAHAHAH BABY!” You laughed out, kicking and pushing at her hands, but you knew you were trapped since Wanda could use her magic at any given moment.
“Aw, this is too cute!” She cooed in your ear and now teasingly slipped her hands under your shirt and fluttered her fingers lightly into your tummy, making your giggles raise a good few octaves.
The witch smirked, positioning the two of you so you were basically stretched across her lap, she used her magic to hold your hands out against your sides, and she then slowly lifted your shirt up.
“Hey? Remember when I said this morning that the raspberries on your pancakes weren’t the only ones you were gonna get?” She asked teasingly.
“And do you also remember when I discovered how ticklish to raspberries you are?” She continued, grinning evilly as you shook your hand and already began giggling.
“Nonono Wanda don’t you dare!” You squealed out as your wife slowly leaned down towards your tummy.
She didn’t hesitate any longer and leaned down and blew a huge raspberry on your tummy, causing you to screech with laughter and thrash around helplessly.
“NOHOHOHOHO WAHAHAHANDA!” You laughed out helplessly, feeling her fingers scribble into your tummy in between the torturous raspberries.
“Y/N! You’re so cute!” Wanda grinned, continuing the tummy torture since she knew it was your favourite spot.
You kept laughing and squealing as Wanda peppered raspberries all over your tummy, scratching her nails over the sensitive skin. She smiled fondly as she looked down and saw you a laughing, screeching mess.
Eventually, she let you up, she didn’t want you too exhausted for the next activity of the night. She ran her fingers through your hair and leaned down to gently kiss you, which you returned gratefully.
“You are an absolute meanie.” You puffed out, sitting up when Wanda eventually released your arms, but you were still smiling so you clearly didn’t mean it.
Wanda smirked, now picking you up bridal style. “Don’t worry, you’re about to be even more out of breath.” She teased before carrying you to the bedroom.
Your birthday finished wonderfully, and you lay there in bed with a satisfied smile on your face, happy and in love.
prompt: anonymous: “Lucy chen x reader. R was in the same rookie class as Lucy. The two of them had always been close. R is now a detective, and they both have buried feeling for each other, which comes to light after r nearly dies on a raid or something. (Oneshot/fic. Is this the right way to request?)”
While Lucy longed to be where you were—a Detective with a long list of recommendations and a near-perfect score on your exam—she admired you for so many different reasons.
You two met in the academy and became instant friends, she was so proud of how far you’d come and jealously didn’t cross either of your minds when you got your promotion. What often crossed her mind was the question: why hadn’t she asked you out yet? There wasn’t any good excuse—maybe the whole “not wanting to ruin your friendship,” but that’s a lazy cliché.
You felt the same way, but you were too focused on your career to think of jeopardizing it by asking out your favorite coworker. You settled for drinks with friends and group meals, the occasional hangout at each other’s houses, and light flirting when you could sneak it in. And you always encouraged her to work to get the promotion she wanted and should have. Matter of fact—you tried to put in a good word every time you could organically slip it in.
Now, every once in a while you get lucky enough to have her on one of your assignments and she’d been a critical asset on your most recent case. This drug and weapon operation was going down and she was right behind you when you and the rest of the department went to raid the base of operations.
“Got it?” Lucy asked you as you restrapped your bulletproof vest three times and counting off to the side in the locker room. It was a bit embarrassing to struggle with it in front of other officers.
“Yeah, hang on. Do you mind reaching up the back of my shirt? I think there’s something stuck in there. I have like a little poking feeling.” You chuckled at your own request and her face lit up in amusement. She loosened the vest a bit to stick her hand up and burst into laughter. “What? What is it?!”
“It’s a burr.” She pulled the small sand burr from your clothes and you quickly strapped your vest before taking a look at the little guy.
“Wow…” You snagged it to look a little closer. “Thanks for the very intimate assist.”
“Happy to help.” She winked. “Ready to go now?”
—————
You led the team around the warehouse and halted with a hand signal, waiting for the moment to push on. Proceeding, you made it to the front door and before you even had a moment to check the door, bullets came flying through and three made contact, knocking you straight to the ground.
“Fall back! Fall back!” Bradford shouted to the rest of the team as Lucy jumped into action, grabbing you by the shoulders and trying to drag you from the action. “Chen! Lift on three!” Bradford came to assist to get you out of there as soon as possible.
The hits were two in the arm and one in the hip, along with a few shots to the vest. “Good thing you helped me get this thing on right.” You weakly joked, sight pulsing black as you lost blood.
“You’re gonna be fine, y/n. We have RA en route, they’re gonna take care of you.” Tim assured you, as if you were even listening. It was more of a comfort to Lucy, but all your comfort came from looking at Lucy and how she was so worried for you. She had your shoulders still, while Tim had you by your ankles.
“I’m fine. I’m fine. I’m fine…” You kept repeating, trying to ignore the pain from your wounds. They felt hot and sharp. “I have burrs in me.” You muttered.
“What?” Tim asked. “What is y/n saying?”
“Burrs…I picked one off of their back earlier.” Lucy explained.
“Stabbing pain.” Tim understood what you meant. “Hang in there, I can hear the RA now.” The sirens faded from your senses as you lost consciousness.
—————
The bright lights of the hospital room and LA sunshine blinded you once you regained consciousness. “Too bright.” You groaned, covering your eyes, assuming someone might be in the room with you.
“Oh! Okay, hang on.” You heard a woman’s familiar voice and felt the room dim behind your eyelids. The blinds closed and the lights flicked off. “Okay, better?” Your eyes peeled open and Lucy stood in front of you with a bouquet of flowers. “I remember you mentioning you liked these.” You weakly smiled, reaching for her hand.
“Give me the rundown.” You requested and she obliged.
“You got a blood transfusion, a minor surgery to get the bullet out of your pelvis—no major damage—and some stitched. And you have some serious bruises on your torso from the impact on your vest.” Lucy explained, setting the flowers aside. “And I was really worried about you. You’d been out for almost twenty-four hours.”
“That’s rookie numbers.” You squeezed her hand. “What about the raid?”
“Tipped off the crew, we might be back at square one. I wouldn’t worry about that right now.” Lucy reached for your cheek. “Y/N, I thought I was going to lose you before I could tell you how I felt.”
“I already knew.” You teased.
“I guess that’s why you’re the detective.” She giggled, kissing you on the forehead. “Hope that was okay.”
“Oh, it’s welcome.” You assured her. “If I had more strength and less stitches, I’d lean forward to give you something more meaningful.”
“Eh, you can save it for the date.” She then pulled out a box of chocolates with an embarrassed-yet-proud look.
“Oh! Now there’s a date. I guess I can’t say ‘no’ since you brought me these.” You joked with her, flirting feeling much more real than it did at the academy. “Once I can sit up on my own, you’ve got yourself a date. Now, can you get a nurse so I can see when the hell they’re gonna let me out? I hate hospitals.”
I feel things in a big way and have for as long as I can remember.
One of my earliest memories is seeing the world behind the protection of my mom's long and sturdy legs. She was larger than life and shielded me from the loud world coming at me. She was a fireball. She walked into a room and owned it. She could talk to anyone as if she had known them their whole life. I remember watching from behind her legs -seeing her interact with people and being in awe of her ability to connect with people from all walks of life. She was magnetic. People who got pulled into her field were changed forever. She saw no color, no dollar signs, no religion, no gender, no sexual preference, no judgment. She was pure goodness. I cannot say enough good things about her. She chose me, and I am so lucky she did.
About six months before she passed away, we rented a cabin at Rough River. Just the two of us. A "girl's weekend." We packed a cooler with filets and lobster tails. We brought a couple of bottles of wine, a deck of cards, and our swimsuits. We planned on indulging in all the good stuff—food, alcohol, gambling, and gossiping. On our way to our cabin, we stopped to get a few last-minute supplies at the local gas station in the middle of nowhere, Kentucky. My mom was pumping the gas as I returned with the provisions. A man a few pumps over said, "Elaine?!" That was my mom's name. We both turned, and she said, "Earl?!" running to the man as if he was her long-lost cousin. I stood, stuffing Hot Tamales in my mouth, watching the scene unfold.
My mom knew Earl from our local Bingo hall, where she volunteered once a week for the temple fundraiser. After working all day, she would walk back and forth for four hours at Bingo, selling pull tabs. She knew everyone, and everyone knew her. She didn't just know people, though—she KNEW them. The names of their kids, where they grew up, what TV show they were currently into, what beauty salon they went to, etc. So while I was surprised she knew some random guy named Earl out in the middle of BFE, Kentucky, hours from home and on our first visit to this area, I was not really shocked.
I needed someone so fierce to protect me from the world. It was too loud and scary when I was a child. She gave me the time I needed to understand it all, or at least think I did. She gave me the time I needed to build up my own protection. She certainly continues to provide me strength to this day. I know she is watching over me, and I draw on her strength more and more as we enter these challenging times.
I do not feel as deeply as I used to, but I still feel very deeply. I feel other people's energy, as if their souls are speaking to me in a language that has no words—just vibrations and feelings. Lately, I have felt a heaviness like I have never experienced. So many people are feeling scared, uncertain, angry, and confused. I feel it on my chest, like someone's foot is there, pushing their heel into my rib cage. It's tough to not feel this way when every time you turn on the news or check social media, there is an astonishing development that feels otherworldly. Like, seriously, how did we get here? I suspect we have always been on this path—greed, the quest for power, lust for control. I think we have been here for a long time, but as time goes on, the path is no longer a dirt road. It is a moving sidewalk with LED displays and state-of-the-art sound systems. It is information flooding our brains at ridiculous rates every day. It is accelerating in its growth. It is gaining power and momentum.
Fear is what it eats for dinner. Hate is a piece of warm apple pie for dessert. Division is a cup of espresso in the morning. Lack of compassion is a piece of wood-oven-baked pizza, and lack of empathy is a cold beer on the side. Making sure we do not remember our worth is guacamole, and arguing with random strangers on the internet is the chips and salsa. Forgetting that most of us want the same things is a pickle on the side of a corned beef sandwich.
Do not feed the fear. Our energy, our emotions, our thoughts are what create our world. Our inner voice narrates our life and shapes our reality. Realize you have a choice in who and what you let in. If you let someone or something in and it makes you feel scared and hopeless, and you don't want to feel those emotions, then do not let them in. Your energy is your own. It is precious. You are precious. Remember your worth. Remember a time when you knew how special you were. There was no question. Do things that remind you how incredible you are. Lean into your self-care, into moments that light your soul on fire.
Do not fall into the biggest trap fear has set for us all. Just because we are on the "good" side does not mean we should speak poorly about the "bad" side. We certainly CAN speak poorly about the "bad" side. It is hard not to in these crazy times we are living in. We are charged with emotion, and it needs to be released somewhere. Bad-mouthing the bad, however, only makes the bad grow. It feeds off the negative energy, even if the negative energy is being expressed for good reason. Do not feed the fear.
Instead, I invite you to join me and draw on my Mom's strength. You can hide behind her legs, build up your protective shield and strength until you are ready. Then you can lean into the feeling my mom and I had on our girl's weekend. Not a care in the world, as we sipped our Cabernet and dined on our grilled surf-n-turf. The next day, we floated in the lake for hours, playing "I Never" and talking about everything under the sun. That night, we went to the local church Bingo. Earl had told my mom about it and said he might be there. We pulled up to the quintessential little white country church. There were about 12 cars in the parking lot. We walked in, and the music stopped, and everyone looked up at us. Everyone, being about 25 people, including the caller. We got our cards and started playing, giggling to each other about the wild situations we get ourselves into. The top prize of the night was a $250 jackpot, the last game, and a coverall. Well, we won the damn jackpot. The locals, who had probably been attending this Bingo game for 50 years, were not happy. We quickly got paid and left a trail of dust as we screeched away and headed back to our cabin, counting our cash and dancing and just loving each other.
To any suicidal followers I may have: This is a sign to not kill yourself. You are loved and the world is special because you are in it. Keep holding on.

You noticed Wanda watching TV in the living room of your shared house, the two of you had decided to get a place together since the two of you were close and wanted to have a place where there were fewer people around, thus less pressure to be as social.
These last two weeks had been a challenge, you felt like life had slammed you with problem after problem and you were at a point where you didn’t know how much more you could take.
You knew you couldn’t hide your feelings from Wanda, both due to her powers and the fact that she could read you like a book, and she probably knew something was wrong as you had kept your distance from her quite a bit these past few days.
One thing she didn’t know, however, was that there was a way of cheering you up which rarely failed. You were currently trying to pluck up the courage to ask her if she was willing to give you a little something which was guaranteed to make you smile… and laugh.
You weren’t sure why, but tickling had always been a thing that made you happy, the freedom of just letting go and feeling free to laugh, it was a sensation that you missed dearly.
The last time you got tickled was by Yelena, who needed a way to get you to let go of a bottle of hot sauce she wanted for her food, you had a feeling she would tickle you since you’d seen her tickle Kate whenever she’d pull pranks so you hoped she would do the same, you were ecstatic when it worked.
You weren’t sure if Wanda would be willing to tickle you, but you knew that you wouldn’t know if you didn’t ask, and you really needed something to cheer you up as your mood was so bad, so you decided to go for it.
You sat next to Wanda who was still watching TV, you immediately started playing with your fingers and bit your lip.
“Hey! Nice of you to join me, are you okay?” The witch asked immediately, her attention turned towards you. She had been increasingly worried about you and the way you had been distancing yourself, so she wanted to help in whatever way she could.
“Yeah, yeah. Just a lot of things going on, sorry I haven’t been around much.” You told her quietly, not yet meeting her gaze as you kept fidgeting.
“Is there anything I can do? I want to try and help however I can.” Wanda offered, noticing you suddenly appeared nervous as you knew it was time to ask her.
“There is, actually… but it’s okay if you don’t want to.” You started, murmuring quietly as you tried to figure out how to ask her. You looked up to see Wanda listening attentively.
“I want to help, what can I do?”
“Well uh… this may seem weird but… could you… please tickle me? I-I like the feeling of being free to laugh and I don’t hate the sensation and-“
You were interrupted by wiggling fingers on your knee, causing you to squeal in surprise and kick out. The witch then pulled you into a hug, wrapping her arms around you and scribbling her fingers into your sides.
“Aw! Y/N of course I can! This is adorable!” Wanda teased, pulling you closer and smiling fondly as you giggled hysterically. You wiggled around in her arms but showed no signs of trying to escape her hold.
What you didn’t expect, however, is the feeling of flutters under your arms on your neck, realising that she was now adding her magic to the playful torture.
“You really are a ticklish one, Y/N! Yes you are! So cute!” Wanda teased in your ear, now shaking her fingers into your ribs which made you squeal with adorable laughter. The witch looked at you with a soft smile, finding this ordeal absolutely wholesome.
You flushed red at her teasing as you wiggled around in her arms, so much so that you were almost lying across her lap, which allowed her to pin your arms over your head and move you so you were on your back across her lap, she looked down you with a smirk.
“What happened here, hm?” She asked, suddenly using her magic to pin your arms over your head, pausing for a moment. “Is this okay?”
You nodded in response, biting back your smile as Wanda teasingly wiggled her fingers over you.
“Good, because I’m going to make sure you’re all cheered up!” She told you with a grin before her fingers danced all over your tummy, making you squeal with giggles once again whilst thrashing around in her lap.
“EHEHEHEHE WAHAHAHANDA!” You squeaked out, arching your back as you felt her magic flutter along the soles of your feet. Your legs flailed about helplessly but you weren’t hating it at all.
“You’re so ticklish, Y/N! It’s so nice to hear your cute little giggles, I’ve missed them so much.” Wanda told you, now briefly lifting your top up to blow a raspberry onto your tummy, causing you to screech with laughter and attempt to twist to the side.
“NOHOHOHO SHUHUHUSH!” You laughed out, feeling her fingers wiggle under your arms at the same time.
“Okay, I’ll stop talking and raspberry you instead.” The witch shrugged and blew another one, causing you to scream with laughter once again.
Wanda paused her magic and her raspberries to give you a quick break, she looked at you with a fond smile as you took in deep breaths, with the occasional few giggles coming out as her fingers were fluttering u see your arms still.
“Having fun?” Wanda checked in, chuckling as you immediately nodded.
“Good, so am I, I’ve missed that smile. I’ll carry on for a bit longer as I don’t want you to pass out.” She told you, and with that, she blew raspberries along your tummy and sides as her fingers moved to your ribs, shaking in mercilessly as her magic fluttered around your toes.
You screamed with laughter, trying everything you could in your weakened down power to escape her, but you weren’t complaining too much despite being exhausted from laughing so hard.
“OKAHAHAHAY PLEHEHEHEASE STOHOHOP!” You yelled out, taking in deep breaths the second she released you from both her fingers and her magic. You shoved your shirt down and sat up, a permanent grin on your face.
“You ok?” Wanda asked gently as she rubbed your back to help calm you down. You nodded in response, smiling shyly.
“Yeah, thank you so much, it really helped.” You told her gratefully, resting your head on her shoulder as she wrapped you in a side hug.
“You’re welcome, Y/N. I’ll happily do it again if you want me to.” Wanda offered, nudging you with a fond giggle as you couldn’t help but blush.
“Thank you… but for now, can we watch a movie?” You asked, still knowing that distractions are the best way to stop your thoughts from spiralling.
The witch smiled and grabbed the remote, handing it to you.
“Sure, just no cheesy rom-coms tonight. You’ve made me watch too many that I couldn’t with a break.” Wanda grinned, watching as you chose an action movie for a change.
The two of you got settled for a movie night, and for the first time in a while, you felt a little more at ease, especially now you knew that you could rely on Wanda for some cheer-up tickles.
“Ahh so pleased your prompts are open again! I’m not great at asks but how about reader x one of/a combo of the Marvel girls (actors or characters, up to you) training in the gym. Reader is working on core strength and one of the girls points to the muscles reader should be working on and reader loses it because their stomach is their worst spot so of course the girls go to town. Have some fun with it!”
A/N: I really hope this is okay! I have no knowledge about these types of exercises although I wish I had the motivation to learn/do them 😂 but I hope you enjoy! ❤️

“So you’re working on your core strength today?”
You jumped when you heard another voice, but relaxed when you recognised it, turning around to see Natasha enter the gym, wearing a tank top and gym pants with her hair up in a ponytail.
You vowed to yourself that you would start looking after your body more, as you knew that sometimes you needed more than just your powers in a fight or for self-defence in general.
You nodded in response to Nat’s question. “Yeah… I heard that having a stronger core can do more than just give you abs, it can help balance and stuff.” You replied, briefly looking at the mirror, you had some insecurities with your body, but you could see improvement. But now you regret wearing a crop top since you were no longer alone.
“You’re learning your stuff,” Natasha commented with a smile, going towards the punching bag. “If you need any help, give me a shout, I’ll be here for a bit.” She told you before beginning her workout.
“Thanks…” you replied quietly, trying to concentrate and return to what you were doing. You decided to do the classic plank, despite hating it, there were a lot of benefits in doing it. So you got down and stretched into the position. You went into your own little world, trying to stay there for as long as possible. You were so zoned out that you didn’t notice that Yelena had walked into the room.
“You are putting yourself through torture by doing the plank you know.”
You snapped out of your head and collapsed, turning around to see Yelena smirking. “I was getting to my record time!” I whined, getting up to shove at her.
“Oh boo hoo, if you’re looking at strengthening your tummy muscles I can show you a few more exercises you can do.” She offered, and you immediately nodded, anything that avoids doing the plank.
“Okay, so you will need to be on the floor on all fours, then you stretch out an arm and then the opposite leg and switch. It’s called the bird dog.” She chuckled as you followed her directions.
You could definitely feel your core muscles working and got more and more confident as you tried to extend your limbs higher and higher, thus arching your back a little.
“You do not need to stretch high, it’s about control.” Yelena guided, putting her hands on your ribs to gently move you back to the original position, making you flinch and briefly bring your arm back.
“Oh, I’m sorry, did I hurt you?” She asked, you immediately shook your head, smiling innocently.
“Oh, no, I just didn’t expect you to touch me.” You replied casually, doing a few more rounds of the exercises before giving yourself a break.
Your eyes flickered towards Natasha, who was watching the two of you, she gave you a brief smirk as if she had already figured out why you reacted the way you did when her sister touched you.
“Oh, I’m sorry, I will be more careful next time.” The blonde apologised. “Another classic exercise though is called the dead bug, and you need to be on your back for this one.”
You nodded, rolling over so you were lying on your back, Natasha had now stopped her workout completely to observe you and Yelena, but you didn’t say anything and listened to the blonde.
“So it is basically like the bird dog but you’re on your back and you are bending your knees toward you instead of stretching it out.” She got on the floor and gave you an example, you quickly understood what she was doing and started doing the same.
“You are arching your back a little,” Yelena told you, already forgetting what she said about being more careful when touching you and putting her hand on your tummy to gently push you back down flat onto your back.
Once again, you flinched and dropped your arms and legs, blushing as Yelena gave you a confused look.
“Are you okay?” She asked, concerned that she had hurt you again.
“They’re fine, they’re just like you,” Natasha replied on your behalf, coming over and skittering into her sister's ribs briefly, causing her to yelp and slam her arms down, before smirking over at you.
“Oh, that’s what it is?” Yelena asked, lighting up a little as she knelt next to you and put a hand on your shoulder to hold you to the floor so you couldn’t escape. “Are you ticklish, Y/N?”
Your eyes widened, shaking your head as you tried to wiggle away, but it only made Yelena skitter her fingers into your ribs with her free hand.
“Pretty sure they are,” Nat replied, smiling a little before sitting on your ankles, not doing anything just yet but it was enough to make you gasp and wiggle even more, despite knowing that you couldn’t throw the Black Widow off your legs.
Yelena grinned, now just going for it and using both hands to skitter up and down your sides and ribs, causing you to arch your back with a giggly squeal. “Hehehehey nohohoho!”
“It seems that you’re right, Natasha, very ticklish indeed, and laughing helps with strengthening core muscles as well so this could be a part of your exercise routine!” Yelena beamed and now scribbled into your belly, causing you to squeal with laughter, especially since Nat started tickling your feet.
“GUHUHUHUYS QUIT IHIHIHIHIT!” You screeched, scrunching your toes up whilst shoving at Yelena, shaking your head helplessly.
“Yelena is right Y/N, laughing is highly beneficial, so I think this needs to happen more often,” Nat commented loud enough for you to hear as she held your toes back to scribble underneath them whilst Yelena now experimented with a raspberry.
You blushed, your laughter going silent as Yelena blew the raspberry, you weakly pushed at her head as you squirmed around as much as you felt able to.
Eventually, they let you up, and you immediately curled up, taking in deep breaths with the occasional giggle slipping out.
“That was… so mean…” you huffed out, making the two women chuckle fondly, Yelena ruffling your hair.
“I don’t think it was, I think you loved it more than you know.” Yelena teased, to which you flipped her off.
“Hey!” Yelena gasped and briefly dug under your arms the second you sat up, making you shriek and slam your arms down. “You know I’m right!”
You remained quiet, looking at Natasha and watching for any judgement. The redhead just smiled fondly and nodded, putting a hand on your shoulder.
“It’s okay, Y/N, it’s quite sweet if it’s true, we’re happy to do it whether it’s to strengthen your core muscles or just to cheer you up.” She reassured, pulling you into a hug, which was swiftly joined by Yelena who didn’t want to feel left out.
“This is not the last time I’m going to tickle you because it was just plain adorable.” She teased, suddenly raspberrying your neck to make you squeal before letting you go.
“Now come on, I’ll challenge you to a planking contest, all three of us.” Yelena grinned as the two women pulled away and got into position, followed by you doing the same.
Of course, you lost, and happily accepted the punishment for being the loser. But you didn’t mind, it brought you closer to the Widow sisters whilst enjoying the feeling of just letting yourself laugh for a bit.
A causal night in turns into a night out in Shaw’s that you completely forgot about, which leads to a confession that you didn’t think you’d ever announce to the precinct.

You were cuddled up on the couch, trying to get into Die Hard which Jake was begging you to watch, you liked the storyline but it wasn’t your favourite movie, but you stuck at it and watched until the end anyway.
You barely noticed Rosa come into the room until you felt her sit next to you on the couch, donning her favourite leather jacket and jeans. You looked at her, confused, as you thought the two of you were staying in tonight.
The two of you had a very discreet relationship, you knew that if you made your relationship official to the precinct, they would never stop pestering the two of you, and Holt, despite being happy for you, would not appreciate all of the hype at a time when you should be working.
“Y/N, Shaw’s. Peralta’s birthday.” Your girlfriend reminded you casually, nudging your shoulder and rolling her eyes as you rested your head on hers.
“That’s today?” You asked, looking up at her, despite you giving Jake his birthday present at work today, you forgot about the birthday drinks tonight. “Is that why you look hotter than usual?”
The detective rolled her eyes, to hide her bashfulness at your compliment. “Yes, Y/N, that’s today, get your butt up and get ready.” She told you, now squeezing the spot above your knee, causing you to squeak and sit up.
You couldn’t hide it from a detective that you liked being tickled, not that you were able to hide it very well anyway. Rosa looked at you with raised eyebrows, and a small smile on her face. “You know what I’m gonna do if you don’t move.” She warned you, watching as your eyes widened whilst you shuffled away from her. Despite knowing that Rosa probably knew you liked and wanted this, you tried to stay stubborn anyway, so you shrugged and closed your arms. “Probably.”
“Your funeral,” Rosa smirked and dove her hands under the blanket, beginning to squeeze your sides rapidly, causing you to squeal in surprise, breaking into giggles as you threw the blanket over her in defence.
“Oh no, I can’t believe you would take me down like that!” She said sarcastically before pouncing closer to you and digging her fingers into your ribs.
“ROHOHOHOHSAHAHAHA!” You shrieked out, already laughing hysterically as you kicked and thrashed about. Although you weren’t complaining about the punishment, she knew just how to tickle you into submission pretty quickly, as it only took her less than five minutes to figure out your worst spots the first time she did this.
“Oh come on, you were begging for this.” She smirked, now blowing a raspberry onto your neck to pretty much break you.
“OKAHAHAY!” You laughed out, flopping into Rosa’s arms afterwards whilst you regained your breath. Eventually, you sat up and flipped her off playfully before heading to your room to get changed.
Eventually, you decided to wear high-waisted black skinny jeans, a burgundy crop top and a black leather jacket, presenting yourself in front of your girlfriend proudly.
Rosa’s eyes widened as her mouth dropped ever so slightly and she couldn’t help but gawk at you for a few moments. “You look… amazing.” She told you, wrapping her arms around you and pulling you into a passionate kiss, which you returned with absolute delight.
“Alright, let’s go and celebrate Jake’s birthday.” She said as she took your hand and walked to the car.
You quickly arrived at the bar, and Jake immediately asked you how Die Hard was, to which you tried to gush about how amazing it was. Thankfully Charles came to the rescue and dragged the birthday boy over to introduce him to some of the food he brought that he wanted Jake to try.
Rosa grabbed you a drink and discreetly wrapped an arm around your waist, under your jacket so no one else could see.
“This is the second week in a row Boyle has managed to find some sort of food that he can make someone try,” Rosa said, sensing that you were a little overwhelmed, so she tried to make conversation whilst her fingers traced up and down your side, making you flinch, her nails were just skimming your bare skin so it was hard for you to keep yourself together.
“He’s a foodie alright.” You replied, giggling as you did so. You wanted to hide your face in Rosa’s shoulder so badly but that would definitely expose the two of you.
“Anyway, guys! As much as I loved the limited edition Die Hard DVD set that I am going to frame and put on my TV, there is one more gift I would like to request from Y/N!” Jake suddenly announced as your eyes widened, not knowing what to expect and feeling anxious about what he was going to ask.
“My dear Y/N, I believe that there is someone in this room that you are in love with and I would like you to admit who that lucky woman is!” Jake told you, and you could tell by the look on his face that he knew about you and Rosa.
You bit your lip, not knowing what your girlfriend was thinking, she was probably thinking about ways to murder Jake right now. You knew you couldn’t look at her as that would definitely give it away, but the fact that she was currently spidering her fingers up and down your side was making you wonder if she changed her mind about your relationship being public, otherwise, she wouldn’t be discreetly tickling you.
“Oh, uhuhuh this is random…” you started off, your giggles spilling out as you felt the feathery sensation on your side.
“Yeah Y/N, who do you like? We know it’s someone.” Rosa chimed in, confirming your theory about exposing your relationship. A few seconds later, she dug your fingers into your ribs, the surprise attack causing you to shriek with giggles. “Go on, spill it.”
Your fellow detectives watched fondly as you fell into Rosa’s arms in a fit of giggles. “Whyhyhyhy?!” You whined, squealing when her cruel nails skittered across your belly.
“Because you know we can trust the others.” She whispered in your ear, trapping you in a hug to continue gently tickling you.
“It’s Rohohosa I like Rohohohosa!” You giggle out, already breaking out of fear of further embarrassment. The black-haired woman chuckled fondly and kissed your cheek, smirking as you blushed even more.
“Called it! You weren’t even trying to hide it, Y/N, it was so cute to watch you get all flustered over and shy and-“Before Jake could continue, Amy put her hand over his mouth.
“Hey, we don’t want her to die from embarrassment, yes it’s cute but you don’t need to tease the poor woman.” She told him, groaning when Jake licked her hand, which she wiped in his shirt.
“And Y/N has outdone herself! Not only has she confessed her love for Rosa, but she’s now shown me that she’s ticklish, so now I have something to use against her!” Jake grinned, making your eyes widen once more as you hid in Rosa’s shoulder.
“Anyway! Let’s make a toast to Peralta’s birthday.” Rosa quickly jumped in, before you melted into a puddle of embarrassment.
Thankfully everyone obliged, and you were enjoying the fact that you could finally be openly affectionate with Rosa, something you had been longing for since your relationship was official.

The four of you soon arrived home and you swiftly went to Yelena’s room to put your neatly folded clothes on the floor next to her wardrobe, you were quickly followed by the blonde who looked at you with confusion.
“What the hell are you doing?” She asked, coming to kneel next to you.
“Oh, I’m sorting my clothes out.” You replied, you didn’t want to take up space in Yelena’s room so that you weren’t in the way.
“Why are they on the floor? You can put them in my drawers you know, share clothes if you wish, I think we are the same size.” Yelena told you gently.
Blushing, you nodded in response, briefly peering over at the bed where her baggy hoodie was, you decided you be bold and ask her something.
“Can I steal your hoodie then? It looks really cozy.” You asked with a shy smile, a little nervous about what her reaction would be.
“Go ahead, it is pretty comfortable and snuggly, so I can’t promise that you won’t have anyone clinging to you.” The blonde winked, mainly referring to herself, happy that it gave her an excuse to cuddle you.
You smiled shyly, beaming internally as you swiftly stripped to just your tank top and the comfortable shorts you were already wearing, before putting your clothes in the drawers and changing into the hoodie.
“You’re right, it’s really soft and comfy.” You commented, giggling when Yelena immediately engulfed you in a hug.
“I told you, and now you’re a cuddle magnet.” She said with a cheeky smile as you grinned and shrugged.
“I think I can live with that.” You replied before the two of you went back into the living room where Nat and Wanda were bickering.
“It’s not a turn-taking game! You need to get rid of your cards as fast as you can!” Wanda explained, before throwing in a playful insult. “Although since you’re old and slow you’re probably going to lose anyway.”
“Oh, you little-“ Nat gasped and pulled Wanda next to her before digging her fingers into her ribs.
The witch shrieked with giggles and shoved at Natasha’s arms whilst trying to lean away from her. “DOHOHOHON’T!”
“Hey, you deserve this!” Nat smirked and squeezed rapidly into Wanda’s sides, chuckling as Wanda shrieked with laughter, looking over towards you and Yelena. “WEHEHEHELL HEHEHEHELP THEHEHEN!”
You and Yelena looked at each other with raised eyebrows, there was no way you were comfortable tickling Nat just yet, so you let her sister take the lead and sneak up behind Nat, digging under her arms.
“Hehehey!” Nat yelped and slammed her arms against her sides, leaning in towards Yelena as you sat awkwardly next to Wanda, trying to offer a smile.
“I’m swapping with you now, you are my shield.” She told you and moved so you were now sitting next to Natasha, you didn’t quite know what to do, so you grabbed the Dobble cards.
“So you were explaining this to Natasha?” You asked Wanda. “It’s a good game, and I usually kick ass.” You added, grinning.
Wanda raised her eyebrows. “Oh yeah? Well once Yelena has finished wrecking her sister, we’ll see who the real expert is.” She told you, before noticing what you were wearing.
“Yelena’s hoodie, huh?” She asked casually, causing you to blush and shove your hands into the hoodie's pockets.
“I’m a cuddle magnet now apparently.” You replied, barely above a whisper, but smiling as Wanda then cuddled you.
“That’s a good point, but Yelena doesn’t share clothes with anyone, so you’re special.” The witch grinned, you knew that she knew that you liked Yelena. “It is very snuggly though.” She replied casually.
Eventually, Yelena had finished wrecking her sister. “So I heard something about Dobble and Natasha being too ancient to win?” The blonde asked, earning her a few side squeezes from her sister, making her yelp.
“I think she’ll kick butt, let’s face it, she’s very observant and quick to notice the small details.” You replied quietly, wanting to get into
Nat’s good books. The redhead grinned smugly and looked at Wanda.
“See! Someone gets it!” She smirked and wrapped an arm around you, briefly pulling you close. You did flinch a little, despite Nat helping you with your panic attack, you were still a little wary of her.
Natasha bit her lip when you flinched, she felt awful that you were slightly afraid of her, she looked between Wanda and Yelena again, knowing that they probably noticed it too.
Yelena immediately thought of an idea. “But you say anything about Natasha being old. So that must mean you also think she is a grandma.”
The Black Widow looked at you with raised eyebrows. “Is that true?”
Your eyes widened, as you began stuttering, feeling completely flustered. You were nervous about what to say or do, so you just braced yourself for her reaction.
Nat smiled and reached a hand towards your tummy, wiggling a single finger in to see how you’d react.
You flinched, trying to briefly process what was happening as you covered your mouth to hide your mouth, you shuffled into Wanda who just wrapped her arms around you.
“You didn’t answer me, Y/N.” Nat smiled fondly as she gently wiggled her fingers across your tummy, her smile widening as you let out a few giggles.
Still wanting to be in her good books, you quickly decided to be on her side. “You’re not ohohohold!” You told her quickly before pulling away.
“Traitor!” Wanda gasped out, digging into your hips, causing you to shriek with giggles and attempt to shove at her hands, not noticing Natasha’s face drop a little, wanting you to trust her the way you trusted Wanda.
Once the witch stopped tickling you, there was a brief and awkward silence, until Nat finally broke it.
“It’s not like you to share clothes, sestra.” Nat turned to Yelena with raised eyebrows, already figuring out that her sister liked you.
Yelena went quiet, quickly trying to figure out what to say in response, but she knew that Nat was onto something.
“Well, we didn’t get Y/N anything to lounge around in, it wouldn’t have been fair,” Yelena replied with a shrug, moving to playfully shove Wanda out of the way to sit next to you so she could wrap you in a hug. “I mean, now she’s super cuddly and soft!”
“She certainly looks it…” Nat replied, wanting to hug you but hesitant to invade your personal space, but Yelena pressed on.
“Well, what are you waiting for?” She exclaimed, discreetly holding your hand to let you know it was okay as Natasha briefly sat closer to you to wrap an arm around you to pull you close, as she did before.
After Yelena gave your hand a gentle squeeze which made your heart flutter, you wrapped your arm around Nat and the two of you embraced, it was a little awkward, but it strengthened your bond.
“There we go! Now everyone is best friends.” Yelena announced. “So who’s ready for Dobble?”
You grinned, squeezing her hand before playfully shoving at her to set the card game up.
It didn’t take long for you to kick everyone’s butt, but you knew you were a winner anyway as you took huge steps into becoming more comfortable around superheroes.

“I can’t believe she would say that to me then go and stab me in the back to my manager, now I’ll be in the shit tomorrow.” You ranted to Wanda, who could tell that you were stressed out the moment you walked through the door.
The witch bit her lip, knowing that what she was going to say might piss you off even more, but she wanted to offer an alternative view of the situation.
“Did she stab you in the back or did she want someone else to try and resolve what happened?” She asked with a gentle tone, hoping that you’d see it from another point of view.
“Nothing happened! I was being straight up on how to present this stupid project to the CEO and she pretty much said that it was a dumb idea!” You snapped, getting increasingly frustrated.
“Did she actually say it was a dumb idea or was she just giving feedback and trying to offer her suggestions?” Wanda tried again but saw that you were getting more and more angry the more she said.
“From her tone, she may as well have said it’s a dumb idea, and thanks for being on her side.” You snarled before storming to your room, slamming the door as you did so.
Wanda sighed, but didn’t want to give up, she decided to give you some space to cool off and went to make a hot chocolate for the two of you.
You fell face down on your bed with your head in the pillow after hitting it a few times in frustration. You ranted to Wanda in hopes that she’d take your side, so you were frustrated that she seemingly took your colleague's side.
Eventually, there was a knock on the door.
“Piss off.” Is what the witch was greeted with.
Wanda sighed, but also knowing you well enough to know that wasn’t necessarily a demand for her to go away, so she took the risk and entered your room.
“I made your special hot chocolate, with whipped cream and marshmallows.” She offered, putting it on the desk next to your bed. “Would you like to continue the conversation?” She asked you gently.
“Sure, go ahead and tell me how wrong I was and that my colleague was right like everyone else thinks she is all the time.” You murmured, but sitting up for the hot chocolate which you can never say no to.
“That’s not what I meant, Y/N. It seems like your colleague had good intentions in helping you complete this project, she probably was stressed herself too, since it’s being shown to the CEO.” Wanda told you gently as you sipped at your hot chocolate whilst staring at the floor, feeling calm enough to take in her words.
“Then why did she report me to our manager?” You asked, anxious that you were going to get yelled at the second you stepped through the door at your workplace tomorrow.
“Probably to support the two of you to work things out so you can give the project your all. I don’t think the manager will yell at you or anything like that, if anything they’ll gently remind you to be more accepting of other people’s ideas.” Wanda told you. “You already are, but in stressful situations, a lot of people tend to forget to do so.” She added, so you knew that she wasn’t just calling you selfish.
You sighed, nodding, you did try to take over the whole project, but Wanda was right, it was a panic response due to the strict deadline and that this project was thrown at you two last minute.
“I guess…” you murmured, finishing off your hot chocolate before it got cold.
The witch raised her eyebrows, poking your side. “Is that all I get?” She asked, noticing the smile threatening to appear on your face as she decided to lighten the mood by gently poking along your side as you flinched and turned away from her.
“Aw, I think this will make us feel better!” Wanda smirked and wiggled her fingers under your eyes, smiling as you began giggling and leaning away from her until you fell back with a squeal. “Hey, nohohoho!” You whined, but already beginning to cheer up.
“It’s already working!” She cheered, moving so she was kneeling next to you as her fingers moved to shake into your ribs.
“It’s nohohohot shuhuhuhut uhuhuhup!” You giggled hysterically, trying to shove at her hands, but eventually attempting to poke at her ribs to try and distract her.
It worked, Wanda yelped in surprise and pulled her hands back, so you quickly sat up and squeezed rapidly into your side. “Ha! You thought you were going to defeat me?!” You asked with a cheeky smile as you switched between squeezing into her sides and scribbling into her tummy.
“Yehehehes I’m gohohohoing to!” She replied, but for now, giggling and kicking out helplessly, she had forgotten how ticklish she was since she only ever had tickle fights with her brother.
“Yeahhh sure.” You teased, discovering that the spot above her knees were incredibly sensitive to squeezes, and so you proudly squeezed rapidly into that spot, causing her to break into giggly laughter.
“SHIHIHIT Y/N I WILL DESTROHOHOHOY YOU!” She screeched out. Suddenly, she remembered she was magic, and found the strength to quickly sit up and use her magic to pin your arms above your head, smirking as you shrieked in surprise before your eyes widened in fear.
“Oh no…”
“You forgot I was magic, huh?”
“So did you!”
“Oh that’s it…”
And with that, Wanda dug her thumbs into your hips, smirking as you pretty much screamed with laughter, arching your back as you tried to escape. “WAHAHAHAHANDA STAHAHAHAHAP!”
“Hm, nah, can’t be bothered.” She smirked and changed tactics so she was now skittering her nails up your top and into your belly, causing you to squeal with high-pitched giggles, shaking your body from side to side whilst shaking your head helplessly. “THAHAHAT MAKES NOHOHOHO SENSE!”
“You’re making no sense!” She replied, giggling along with you before deciding to slowly roll your top up, smirking fondly before blowing a raspberry on your belly, shaking her head in as she squeezed your sides.
“WAHAHAHANDA YOU AHAHAHASS!” You screamed out, laughing hysterically before taking in deep breaths as the witch gave you a break, casually wiggling her finger in your belly button to keep you giggling a little.
“I’m an ass, huh? Even when I do… this?!” And with that, she moved down to squeeze up and down your thighs, and the spot above your knees which was just as sensitive as her own. You giggled, squealing at the same time but thankfully the sensation wasn’t nearly as bad as the raspberries and tummy torture.
“Hm, what about your feet?” She asked, now sitting on your ankles and wasting no time in scratching her nails into your feet.
“NAHAHAHAH!” You laughed out, trying to pull at your legs, but you were still pinned so you could do nothing but laugh and twist from side to side.
“Wow Y/N, you’re really ticklish.” Wanda teased, pulling your socks off and pulling your toes back gently to scribble underneath them, the sensation causing you to screech with laughter, you arched your back and tried to escape.
At this point, you were pretty exhausted, so Wanda raked her fingers up and down your soles and gave your tummy one more raspberry before letting you go.
“That… that was so mean.” You huffed out, shoving your shirt down and quickly putting on your socks.
“Hm, I think you loved it,” Wanda smirked, pulling you into a hug and rocking you gently. “How are you feeling?” She asked.
“Better, I’m sorry I was a stubborn butthead.” You told her quietly, sighing as you melted into her hug.
“Hey, it’s okay, you were stressed, but you took in my words and I’m proud of you for that.” She said softly and kissed your head. “And now I know how to get you out of your head.” She winked and squeezed you closer to her.
Rolling your eyes, you shoved at her. “And now I know that you’re just as ticklish.” You teased back, earning you a side squeeze.
“Oh whatever, let’s go watch a movie or something.” She chuckled fondly and gently pulled you closer into her arms, stealing your remote to choose a movie.
You blushed, but happily obliged, happily comforted by knowing that you were safe to open up to Wanda about anything, even if it was a request to have a tickle fight, she will never judge you.
prompt: holding hands while driving | warnings: none.
When you suggested taking the lead, it had much more to do with the crestfallen witch in the front seat than the retired Avenger's possible fatigue from driving for a few hours. Don't let Barton hear you say that.
Wanda gave you a brief smile as you took the driver's seat, and unfortunately, your attempt at conversation ended up being disastrous because you simply didn't know what to say to her.
Losing her country, and her brother, and growing up in a civil war only to be dragged from battle to battle her whole life doesn't seem like something you can fix, no matter how many bad jokes you say to try to make her smile. Still, you think you should keep trying. Because Wanda is so special, she's so sweet and clever, and you enjoy her company so much. She deserved all the good things life had to offer, even if she didn't believe it.
You end up getting so distracted by your own thoughts that you don't notice that Wanda has been stealing glances in your direction for a good few minutes until she finally calls you.
"Huh, sorry, I was distracted." You mumble, glancing at her quickly before focusing on the road again. "We'll be there in the morning if you're wondering."
She's looking at you funny. Maybe you mumbled something. It wouldn't be the first time you've let your thoughts slip away. It doesn't recall you that Wanda didn't need you to speak to know what you were thinking, and focused on the road, you didn't notice the brief red flash of her eyes either.
"I wasn't." She retorts, perhaps more harshly than she'd like. You don't know, but Wanda hates how she's a disaster whenever she tries to talk to you. But still, you never seem to mind her clumsiness. You laugh weakly, nodding. She uncrosses her arms, her nervous fingers gripping the seat. "I mean... this trip isn't so bad. And I wouldn't mind staying in the car a little longer."
You hum thoughtfully, clicking your tongue afterward. "I get it, I guess. The car feels safe, right? While we're here, no one on the team is fighting, nothing is falling apart. It's calm. It almost feels like... well, just a trip between friends." The tables have turned a bit, and now it's Wanda who feels the sudden urge to comfort you. You, who have been nothing but kind and considerate, who are watching your entire family fall apart because of a mistake she made in Lagos, even though everyone keeps telling her it wasn't her fault.
"Maybe we should stay here." She murmurs, and at the same time, you both glance in the rearview mirror, where Clint and Scott are sleeping in the backseat. "Maybe we could just not leave."
"We already left, Wands." You sigh sadly. One of your hands goes to the gearshift, there's a small curve in the road. "I did it, in Berlin, when I refused to fight my brother. And you did it, when you agreed to leave the Tower and get in this car." You say, one hand resting on the seat. "Maybe it's finally time for us to be proud of our choices and start standing up for what we believe in. Not just as a team, but as individuals." She knows you're talking about the accords, but she doesn't want to think about it again. Because for the past few weeks, everything has been a mess and within a few hours, she has the feeling that there won't be any more Avengers. So Wanda stops squeezing the seat and decides to squeeze your hand instead. You look at her immediately, before turning your attention back to the road. She makes a motion of pulling away, seeing your shoulders tense, but you adjust your grip to intertwine your fingers together. Her heart skips two beats in a row, but even with her voice cracking, she speaks; "You're right. We should honor our choices. And our feelings." There's a soft blush on her cheeks, which when you notice it in the rearview mirror, spreads to yours.
You nod in agreement and don't let go of her hand anymore.

When you heard that someone close to the Avengers had agreed to train you, you pretty much lost your mind.
You were training to become a bodyguard for someone famous, but you were nowhere near ready to become one, so you wanted to get as much training as possible to fulfil your dream.
You stood in your training room, which was mainly empty with soft flooring and some punching bags, everything moved out of the way to create as much space as possible. You couldn’t help but pace anxiously whilst waiting for the mystery person to ring your doorbell.
Eventually, that happened.
You opened the door and your eyes widened at the sight. It was Yelena, who was the sister of Natasha Romanoff, aka, the Black Widow.
“You must be Y/N, it’s good to see that you are ready for your training, my name’s Yelena.” She told you, ready to go as she shook your hand.
“Hey, yeah I’m ready to go. It’s… it’s a pleasure to meet you.” You replied, managing to hold back your excitement as you showed her in and towards your gym.
“This is a nice space, plenty of room for the moves I’m going to show you.” Yelena complimented as she looked around, taking her shoes off and putting them by the door.
“Yeah, it took some time to get things the way I wanted, but I’d say it worked out.” You smiled, doing some casual stretches.
“Hard work pays off, and you will also say that once I’m done with you,” Yelena explained as she showed you some different ways of stretching to benefit your body more.
The two of you sparred, Yelena occasionally showing you different techniques and stances to help you approach people differently. You were able to pick up her every move, becoming even more confident the more you did it.
“You’re a fast learner, Y/N.” The blonde smiled, impressed and becoming a little fond of you. You couldn’t help but smile to yourself, silently freaking out about the fact that Yelena Belova complimented you. You looked up to her, a lot, and you were able to see her fighting a few times, but you never expected your manager to get someone like her to train you.
You shrugged in response, biting back a smile. “Thanks, you kinda have to if you want to become a bodyguard.” You replied quietly, feeling a little self-conscious at the same time.
The blonde raised her eyebrows, silently studying you to see what could help you come out of your shell.
“Hey, do the last stretch I just showed you again, I think your stance was a little off and I don’t want you hurting yourself,” Yelena told you, an idea popping into her head.
You got down on all fours, stretching your upper body forwards with your butt stretching just behind your knees.
“Okay, that is good form but you just need to move your chest down toward the floor,” Yelena told you, gently holding your ribs to move your chest towards the floor.
You immediately flinched and went back to your previous position, looking at your trainer with wide eyes, unsure if she meant to do that or not.
“Are you okay?” The blonde asked, looking innocently confused despite knowing exactly what she was doing.
You nodded in response, unsure about what to do next as Yelena raised her eyebrows.
“Okay, I have new challenge for you, to see how resilient you can be to certain situations that may get thrown at you unexpectedly.” She told you, a little smirk appearing on her face. “Lay down with your hands above your head.”
You looked at Yelena with raised eyebrows, surprised at the sudden change in training, but she had a good point, you will probably have unexpected challenges thrown at you when guarding someone, so you have to adapt your approach to whatever is happening. You did what she asked, a little nervous about what was going to happen next.
“Ok, keep them up for as long as possible.” She said, kneeling next to you but then turning away as if she was checking her phone that was in her pocket before swiftly turning around and shaking her fingers into your ribs.
You yelped and arched your back in surprise, immediately breaking into laughter as you tried your hardest to keep your arms over your head. The sudden attack completely throwing you off.
“Very good, you would then use your training to deal with the situation, but for now we are just testing your resistance,” Yelena told you, smirking to herself as she finally saw you loosen up a little, her fingers skittered up into your armpits.
You scrunched your face up, the temptation to lower your arms intensifying since she was at a spot you could easily protect by lowering your arms, but you were stubborn, so put yourself through the playful torture.
“I knew you were a tough one, Y/N, but it’s also okay to let go and have some fun, Natasha and I often play fight which ends up with me laughing my butt off,” Yelena admitted as she moved back down to scribble into your tummy; smiling fondly as you burst into giggly laughter.
“You do seem sensitive tohohohohoo!” You replied, squealing as she moved to your hips and squeezed in rapidly, yet still managing to keep your arms up.
“Well, that’s not very nice.” The blonde gasped, quickly pulling your shirt up and blowing a huge raspberry on your belly, causing you to screech with laughter, somehow managing to keep your arms up but kicking out.
“I’M SOHOHOHORRY!” You yelled out, trying to wiggle your shirt down, but not noticing that Yelena had moved down to your lower body, causally sitting on your ankles.
“Eh, that doesn’t cut it, so I want to make sure that you won’t say anything like that again.” Yelena grinned, before scribbling into the soles of your feet, her fingers gently scratching up and down.
You squealed, scrunching your toes up as you attempted to kick out the best you could, but you knew that Yelena had a hold that you couldn’t escape from, unless you put your arms down.
“You’re a tough one,” Yelena commented with a fond smile, scratching her fingers under your toes as you let out fits of laughter, you scrunched your toes up with basically did nothing.
Suddenly, she twisted around to squeeze up and down your knees and thighs, grinning as your eyes widened in surprise before more giggles spilt out, shaking your head helplessly.
“Quhihihit!” You whined, laughing adorably as you once again attempted to kick out, knowing the only way out was to put your arms down, but you were close to tapping out anyway as you could feel your laughter going silent.
Eventually, you put your arms down to shove at Yelena’s hands, making her stop immediately and get off you, giving you time to sit up and calm down.
“That was impressive.” The blonde started as she rubbed your back. “So impressive that I think you would be a perfect fit for my sister as she gets papped whenever she leaves the house.” She offered you casually.
“Wait… what?” You asked in pure disbelief, pretty certain that you didn’t hear her right.
“I like you, you’re resilient, firm when you want to be and have all the skills you need to protect my sister,” Yelena said with a gentle smile. “So, would you like the job?”
You stood up, pacing a little as you tried to calm yourself down, Yelena doing the same, watching for your response.
“Yes! Yes, that would be incredible, thank you so much!” You replied excitedly, wanting to pounce into a hug, but didn’t in case she wasn’t a huggy person.
However, Yelena opened her arms, which you jumped into eagerly. The blonde smiled fondly as she squeezed you towards your chest, rubbing your back and holding you for a little bit before letting you go.
“So are you ready to meet her?” Yelena asked, chuckling as you attempted to hold back your excitement.
“Yes, let me change and get ready!” You replied enthusiastically before rushing upstairs to change and get ready.
The two of you got back and you met Natasha, she immediately grew fond of you and formed a tight bond quickly, she felt completely safe in public for the first time in a while because she trusted you so much to protect her.
This was your perfect job, and you finally felt trusted by your client, the bond between you and Natasha meant the world to you.
