Your goal for July: disabled punks to the front!!! It's Disability Pride Month! Ik July is often dubbed queer wrath month but lets not forget the insanely important cause July already stands for. So your goal is if you are disabled, be proud, be visible, we stand with you. If you aren't check out some zines or other literature on the cripplepunk movement and disability pride month, particularly concerning the legal challenges disabled people can face regarding benefits

Huh? But I thought Mr. Starmer was just a fairly normal Prime Minister this go-round? What scandal (that is, a real scandal that would upset actual serious people and not some nothingburger that's set off the right-wingers again) made him resign this time?

he's been increasingly unpopular to the right, the left, and his own party. He's U-Turned on every policy he pledged, he's shown no backbone, he's performed terribly at local elections, and he's faced challengers for the past many months. Andy Burnham, previously Mayor of Manchester announced he would challenge, but he wasn't an MP at the time, so the standing MP for the Makerfield constituency stood down, and Burham won. Starmer could've stayed and fought, but he's resigned rather than be defeated.

JUNE CHALLENGE: IT'S PRIDE MONTH!! hope all you trans punks and queers are ready to celebrate it, acknowledge its history, mark it in whatever way you want to - whatever way you can. We are incandescent, vibrant, fuming, proud, and not going fucking anywhere. Love and power to you all.

It is important we don't forget how many places in the world still criminalise pride marches, especially taking note of the horrific situation in Hungary. Which also means I don't want any fucking "who belongs at pride" discourse. Only class of people who don't belong at pride are cops, corporations, and politicians using our identities like a football. So if you see that bullshit, either call it out and move on, or don't engage at all ok?
