There’s a pedophile, racist and rapist contestant in the Brazilian version of Big Brother
A contestant of the brazilian version of Big Brother started a huge discussion in the country this week by accusing one of the housemates of being a pedophile. Before this edition even started, when he was announced, Laércio was already being accused of raping minors. Tons of posts came up on Facebook talking about how he had abused and raped girls before. In the show itself he already stated that he “likes them young”. “I like young girls. The deal is that they’re the ones that look for me, like 17, 18, 20 year old. They like older guys.”
- One of the accusations says he raped a 13-year-old girl.
- The other asks to spread that he’s a rapist and pedophile. That he made her 15-year-old friend get drunk so he could touch her, and that he’s always hitting on underage girls and giving them alcohol, saying they look older. She says her friend is traumatized because of him.
- This one isn’t a victim but says that he’s known in the tattoo business (it’s his job) for raping girls while they’re sleeping, and that he only hooks up with underage girls.
- It was also discovered that his Facebook account likes pages like “Curiosities about Nazism”, “Proud whites”, “STOP the white genocide”, the official page of Valentina Schulz (a Masterchef Junior contestant who is a little girl that was highly sexualized by pedophiles on the internet while the show was on), and Jair Bolsonaro’s page (our own Donald Trump, but this one more know for hating gays and women).
It all blew up during a party in the house. Contestants Ana Paula, 34-year-old, and 19-year-old Munik were dancing while 53-year-old Laércio was staring at them, which made Ana Paula very uncomfortable. “Who you staring at? So annoying. Yeah, stop staring.“ said Ana Paula.
After the party, Ana Paula went to her room, that she shares with other housemates, including Laércio, and was surprised to see him sleeping uncovered, wearing only his boxers. She went out and asked someone to cover him for her. Meanwhile, she was talking to the others about him and they were telling her she needs to calm down and that other people in the house like him. Then she said “Who likes him? Who likes a pedophile?”, to the surprise of one of her housemates, who asked “Who’s a pedophile?“, and then Ana Paula mentioned how he openly said he dates a 16-year-old girl, to which the housemates just shrug it off and said it’s "his problem”.
Despite her saying she couldn’t even change her clothes without feeling uncomfortable, the housemates just kept trying to convince her to not be bothered. She just got more pissed at them and left to her room, where she found Laércio, again, sleeping uncovered, wearing only his boxers. She woke him up.
- “How about dressing up? You’re in a room with two women. I want you dressed up, OK? So dress up right now. No one’s forced to see a disgusting old men in his boxers. You dress up now or I’ll go ask to leave because there’s a disgusting old men, that no one can stand, naked in my room. Dress up. Right now. Right. Now.“ She went out and continued. “A pedophile in the house and no one’s gonna do anything?”.
Other housemate in the house, a man, said to her that anyone can sleep in underwear in the house, to which she replied "He can’t! He stares at the girls!”.
Her housemates insisted in telling her to calm down, to shut up, calling her stupid and irrational as she asks people to get him out of her room. “He placed his tongue in between his fingers to me”, she said, to which a man housemate responded “He can do that. I can do that”.
A past edition of the show was talked about in international news sites for a rape incident. At one point, Laércio and an other housemate, called Daniel, were talking about it and making fun of the victim saying she knew what was happening and didn’t stop it because she didn’t want to.
Yesterday, both contestants, Ana Paula and Laércio, were put up to eviction against each other. The decision comes out Tuesday and people who are aware of Laércio’s behaviour are teaming up to vote for him to be evicted.
