I format because I enjoy it. It is not a requirement for me. I mostly use small text and icons, but if you are visually impaired, then please let me know and I'll use normal text in our private threads.

Please no minors. I will write with minor characters, but if you, as a mun, are a minor, I simply do not feel comfortable with that power dynamic.

This blog will be drabble and edit/gif heavy. I might occasionally post fic as well.

About Character & Mun:

You can call me Niko. I am 30 y/o and I have been roleplaying for a long time. I'm chatty in the tags and I will not always be in character. But I am not my muse, etc etc.

This particular portrayal of Mr. Darcy takes place 7 years post events of an alternate ending to Pride & Prejudice. Mr. Darcy never repeated his addresses to Elizabeth because Lady Catherine was never informed of Darcy's intentions. Nor was Elizabeth ever made aware of his assistance in recovering Lydia.

she'd very nearly avoided her mother for the day. almost. until she cornered her in the grand entrance with a young man in tow. another one of her suitors. for them to secure and combine finances. I mean--marry. yes. husband and wife. he had a hardened stare and a stone cold frown, looking about as interesting as a stepping stone. she'd entertain it--for the moment. tom, what a terrible name.

eris obliged with a sweet smile, allowing him to take her by the arm while they walked out to their modest back garden. which couldn't even compare to pemberley. reminding her where she'd rather be right now.

well, maybe she could make this quick.

tom with the hardened gaze and the hardened frown only seemed to smile at the fact that they were alone now. getting all too familiar by moving his hand to the small of her back. it only made eris smile harder, a giggle passing her lips as if she were so pleased by his advances. oh, tom. you stupid, stupid man.

the more he spoke about himself, the more she hated him. not once did he ask about her and he was absolutely brimming with ego. so eris gently guided them toward the fountain, getting the flowing water to be the backdrop of what tom hoped to be a 'romantic' moment. thinking he was skilled by the way he pulled her in by the waist...and going in for a kiss.

eris closed her eyes as if she were going to let him---until her teeth bit down on his lower lip...HARD. as soon as he yelped she let go, maneuvering her foot when he stumbled backwards so that he'd fall right into the fountain with a big SPLASH.

tom was too easy.

grinning mischievously, the bride to be ran off as fast as she could, giggles falling to the wind. and in what direction did she go in? as if anyone had to guess... well, if her mother really cared--she'd have gone after her by now. so it made her think perhaps tom wasn't her best option.

oh well, there'd be another tom next week. maybe she could plan with william to avoid being home then. when she thought she was far enough, she stopped running, catching her breath as her footsteps slowed, the pemberley property coming into view. the air felt much more relaxing here, eris stretching her arms up temporarily while she calmed herself down, adventuring over the grassy hill.

it wasn't long before she caught sight of that familiar horse, the mid afternoon sun just behind him, making the man on it look like a god. heart fluttered at the sight, giving a breathless chuckle while her hand raised to create a visor over her eyes. arm raised to give a long raggedy wave, steps trotting a bit faster to meet him halfway.

she could kiss god for delivering exactly who she wanted to see in this moment.

eris wore the biggest smile just for him, eyes sparkling while he rode up before her. " yeah, you'd better. " she teased, hand raising to gently pet cerberus's snout. " you've got some nerve being on your horse and not coming to get me. " still clearly joking, smirking as she took him in. william looked a bit distant... like he had something on his mind. " I think for your sake, my darling--the story is that you were on the way, weren't you? " lips pressing together in an attempt to hide her smile.

William gripped the reins a bit tighter when Eris raised her hand to stroke Cerberus along his lengthy nose, ready to pull the onery steed if he threatened to bite. He respected his master, tolerated the stable manager, but loathed anything else that breathed—the only exception seemed to be Eris. By whatever devilish means, both master and mount had been charmed by her over the years. Even now, despite every visual clue declaring that she'd just been up to no good at all. Her cheeks glowing with the warmth of exercise, a strand of hair clinging to her temple that had only just begun to break a modest sweat, the quickened rise and fall of her chest. None of which William believed was unbecoming. If anything, the oh so pleasant sight of her offered him temporary relief from what had been plaguing. "Well, of course I was coming to get you..." Only Eris would understand the humor in his refusal to make such a lie sound convincing. Even if that hadn't been the case, he should have at least considered it. He was not the only one in need of an escape from a reality that would one day separate them if they weren't precious enough with the safeguarding of their—friendship. Removing one foot from the stirrup, he inched back and offered Eris his hand. All she had to do was step up and he'd help her the rest of the way. "I thought you'd post-pone your nonsense until I had saddled up at least."

Ms. Taylor was history. At least that was what William had hoped when he overheard the shouting match ensuing between his father and his duplicitous mistress. It wouldn't be the first time that the two had argued only to persist in their dysfunction. William, unfortunately, was caught right in the middle, whether his father was aware of it or not. His own son, in a 'complicated' and iniquitous affair with the woman he did not love nor care for, but kept for his own amusement. William wasn't going to risk staying indoors if it meant that revelation was about to unfold(if it had not before, he had no reason to believe it would now), and so he slipped out unaware and saddled Cerberus for what might be a lengthy tour around Pemberley's grand park. The beauty of it almost lost to him, when most good feelings associated with the estate belonged to the memory of his late mother. Memories that were growing more difficult to reclaim as the years dragged on. Though she would be relieved to know that she was not the only safe place in her son's life; a safe space—a safe person—who appeared just over one of the lush hills, as though right on cue.

William slowed Cerberus to a trot and groaned to himself. Now was not a good time for one of Eris's ritualistic walks to Pemberley. He almost wished her away, but the guilt which would surely follow would have gnawed away at him until there was nothing left but bone. In a world full of people who he did not wish to engage, Eris was not one of them. He would regret every thought, every petty annoyance and every attempt at pushing her away, if she ever did go away. It was much too late to pretend that their eyes had not acknowledged one another at a distance, anyway. With a gentle tug of the reins, he guided his horse in her direction.

You know what's insane to me is the fact that Mr Darcy does everything he can to avoid anyone knowing about Mr Wickham and his attempt to elope with Georgiana Darcy, and then Elizabeth Bennet is like "No I won't marry you, and one reason is because I think you treated Mr Wickham poorly." And then Mr Darcy just throws out all of his effort to hide the attempted elopement, so he can defend himself to the woman he loves that already rejected him. I love it

"Miss Wolfe, there is someone that I have long desired to introduce you, if you would permit me." Mr. Darcy's head turned slightly, his eyes cast in the direction of a tall (even taller than Darcy himself), rare figure of a man who did not frequent such social engagements as this. That, made even more evident by a countenance twisted by discontent. Darcy hoped that the mystery might allure Miss Wolfe more than the immediate appearance of unwanted company. The faint scar that began at his brow before disappearing beneath his cravat enough to unsettle the most common lady, but Miss Wolfe—? Mr. Darcy was not concerned by a lack of curiosity, but in the young woman's rebellion. She was far too clever to misread his intention in the introduction... "It is a rare that he is in the country, I would hate to miss this opportunity." Darcy urged, offering Miss Wolfe his elbow. (🤪) ( @pemberlian )

"Mr. Darcy, please..." Louise tries to hold back just how exasperated she feels, just by his presence at the moment, but she's certain all efforts fall flat. She hadn't wanted to attend the event, but her father urged her to, because a young lady such as herself needed to find a husband and no better way than showing her sweet face there. Nevermind how she felt.

Her eyes finally follow Darcy's and her mind catches up to what he'd been saying. She frowns subtly and looks up at the man beside her.

"Is this some sort of scheme?" Certainly, it must be. He'd never done such a thing before. Louise's eyes flit back to the stranger, who looks just about as excited to be in attendance as she. She studies him with a critical eye at first, taking in as much information the cover of his book would give, before her gaze softens, in the event the poor subject of their conversation happens to catch it.

With a sigh and no other words, she takes the offered elbow and follows, now curious of what mischief her reserved companion was up to.

"No scheme." Mr. Darcy was very well aware of what he was asking Louise to sacrifice. The illusion she held close to her heart of a young man who did not deserve her. A young man who, despite one day having the potential of becoming his own son-in-law, did not have Fitzwilliam's highest regard; certainly not enough to turn a blind eye to Miss Wolfe waiting and enduring her father's house longer than what was necessary in the hope that Shaun would ever make a respectable wife out of her. So in spite of knowing what he was asking her to sacrifice, he could not empathize with it. He could only desire for her to see reason...

The gentleman's shoulder's eased when Louise at last relented by taking his elbow. He escorted her through the crowd until the man of interest came fully into view. A head taller than even Mr. Darcy, and somehow even more intimidating in appearance. Why, Fitzwilliam looked charming and easy by comparison. Miss Wolfe's chaperone, however, did not seem the least bit frightened or concerned with the stranger's manner. There was an obvious familiarity between them.

"Mr. Solo, I would like to introduce you to Miss Wolfe..." The lofty figure's tired eyes passed between Mr. Darcy and the young lady that he'd spoken so much about. There his gaze lingered even as he bowed. On that soft face. With large eyes, round cheeks and a button nose that reminded him of a timid spring bunny.
