Media…
Came from the Latin word “media” that means middle. It is the means of communication through the use of different mediums (radio, television, newspaper, social media, etc).
In the past weeks, we have discuss about the cycle or process of communication which applies within our daily routine. This includes the following:
Sender- the one who initiates to send the message; the communicator
Message- the information delivered (in either verbal or non-verbal way)
Channel- the medium used to deliver the message
Receiver- the one who receives and interpret the information given
There are two types of communications namely:
The Shannon and Weaver Linear; 1949
The SMCR Communication Model with implied feedback; 1960
In conclusion, Media has an massive impact within this generation and also in our daily lives. Without its use we will not be easily updated and aware of what is happening within our surroundings. It may also be a place where we can feel free to convey our thoughts and spread awareness of what it is needed.
In communication, feedback is important because it reflects on how effective the message is to the receiver. In receiving feedbacks, there will be some instances that there will be some negative and positive ones.

Hello! It’s me :)
I’m Patricia Joy T. Abundo. However, I prefer people calling me PJ instead. I am a student of University of Perpetual Help-Molino Campus. I’m currently in grade 12 and also a STEM student. The reason why I took up STEM because I want to pursue in BS Architecture in college. The things that I like to do are listening to music(especially to Day6, Keshi, RINI, Seventeen, Beabadoobee and Niki) while doing some art. I am also very fond of doing my makeup simply because it serves as my stress reliver. Usually I would get the impression that I’m quiet and shy but when you get along with me well, I’m the type that can be very jolly and be as talkative as I can.
