Tetro Japanese First Person Pronoun Head Canons because Von's Canon ones were ASS. I am by no means an expert on this topic but I have read about it more than you're average person because I think its really interesting. Not a native or fluent speaker but neither is Von so fuck it.
Isono - Watashi/Atashi. I think Isono uses Watashi when on stream, but in person uses Atashi.
Harada - Boku but he frequently defaults to Ore. He absolutely used Ore while he was still a bully so he frequently slips back into it, and also I think its funny to think someone as mild mannered as Keizou uses Ore.
Chiba - Airi-chan or Watashi. She uses Chiba-chan until she starts to try to "grow up" and then she uses Watashi. When she's doing the delinquent shtick she uses Ore because it's funny. Look at this toddler calling herself a big guy and cursing a lot.
Kamimura - Washi. He canonically has a Kansai dialect. Von why didn't you put that he uses Washi...
Hayashi - Atashi or Atai. Look, I get having her use Ore, but as far as I'm aware, that's like... not a thing. Not even in fiction. Even for very masculine girls, they don't use Ore. Atai is the very casual/vulgar feminine first person Pronoun. But also I think having her use Atashi or Watashi when flustered out be cute because gap moe.
Wada - Boku. It gives her a little bit of androgyny and I think she'd use it even if she was given the opportunity to transition.
Sasaki - Watashi or Watakushi. Incredibly formal. Even when she's flustered, she only drops down to Watashi.
Ojima - Boku. It's boyish and makes him seem a a little immature, which i think fits.
Okazaki - I think okazaki is a freak and I think she mimics whoever she's talking to so she frequently switches pronouns to match whoever she's talking to. In English, this means she mimics people's speech patterns. When she unmasks herself though she switches to something INCREDIBLY self aggrandizing like Wagahai or Ore-sama
Hama - Watashi. Just because I think a massive large man being incredibly formal/using a very feminine pronoun is very Hama coded.
Tsuno - Tsuno-sama or Atashi. Tsuno-sama is just for when she's putting on the super hero persona.
Hiroaki - Ore. Do I even need to explain?
Tamba - Atai or Boku. Honestly it's a toss up, but I like Boku better for her.
Hasegawa - Watashi. He's formal and overly polite, but unlike sasaki he isn't in a professional setting frequently so he's absolutely not using Watakushi for anything.
Watari - she doesn't use ore..... no way in hell she uses ore.... I could see it exclusively during her interview where she's pretending to be a stereotypical husband but no way in hell does she just casually use Ore. She uses Atashi and nobody can take that away from me. That or Watari-sama when she's being silly.
Yanagi - Boku or Watashi. Watashi for the prince shtick, boku for when he's being genuine.
Ouno - Ucchi. Big sister energy, kinda ditzy energy, it feels like it fits her.
Ninomiya - I'm fine keeping his use of Atashi I just wish it came across in his English dialogue instead of just being name dropped when this isn't a behavior we can observe in the actual fucking language tetro was written in.
Ikeda - Watakushi or Ore. Those are probably the only pronouns he knows actually... he uses Watakushi when regressed specifically.
Denden - Watashi or Atashi! I like watashi for her better, atashi has too much of an edge for her.
Mattias - He switches between a buncha pronouns but I think he settles on Watashi because he's not a native speaker. When he's around Ogure he uses Atashi and when he's around boys he uses Boku.
Yokoi - Ucchi or Atashi. She's too silly to use watashi she needs to be silly with it, but I like Ucchi better because I think her backstory has her having a buncha siblings, but its not like von cared about her backstory so I don't know it either.
Yaitabashi - Boku. If it weren't for his voice people would think he was a girl being tomboyish.
Maekawa - Boku. I can't envision her using a feminine leaning pronoun.
Hirose - Watakushi because he wants to be seen as super professional but when he gets flustered he slips and uses Boku.
Ogura - Wagahai. 110% wagahai. It fits her whole goddess thing. I think when she's being genuine or gets flustered she uses Atashi though.
Shishikura - in my perfect world Shishisys is real and von babbit isn't a hack so it depends on the head mate. Osamu specifically uses Watashi though.
Isoda - Jibun or Boku. I like Boku better because it leans into the Utaite thing because Boku is most commonly used in songs :>
Tei - I genuinely can't decide. I think he uses a combo of Watashi or Boku most frequently though. Watashi is just a habit from how much he works (or tmasc atsushi if you're so inclined).
Nishiguichi - Boku or Atashi. Can't decide but I think we need more girls who use boku so I pick boku.
Akiba - okay I get him using Sesshou because of the ronin thing but..... ore. C'mon look at how he talks in English he does not use Sesshou and end his sentences in desu. He is NOT formal like that.
