Mostly post Precure merchandise now and kind of retired from web graphics making after losing my old laptop that had Photoshop

Hi, I’m Mai and welcome to my ancient Tumblr account??? I go under maimooncat on Twitter.

I went under an old net name M*** until 2016. I used to do graphics making with gifs and stuff until maybe 2018 when I ‘left’. I no longer make stuff because the computer I had from back then is now in my dad’s possession (I don’t use it anymore)

Now I collect Precure merchandise as my new hobby. Favourite Precure is still Cure Moonlight and favourite Precure series is still Heartcatch Precure. I’m pretty much almost chill with every single Precure series, just be aware I really like Heartcatch, it’s what got me into Precure back then.

I’ve been into Precure since 2010, so about 12 years now. Not much to say really. My content now will be just talking about my merchandise hauls, my merch and maybe some reblogging happens here and there.

Oh yeah…seiyuu/Japanese VAs (mainly from Precure and well…you know 👀).

I might want to talk about something my special if I feel like it (my old mutuals and friends who’ve been with me for a long time will know what happened on Twitter last year 👀)

Anyway…that’s my quick intro

This morning, I checked out Ribbon Hero trailer that came out recently and there’s an unannounced seiyuu in the trailer.

Note that they only announced 3 Seiyuu in the latest trailer.

Her voice is so distinctive I noticed the moment I heard it.

So, I've been saying all week that I was looking forward to how the Detective Conan x Precure episode was going to handle putting a magical girl in a murder mystery genre, but I really wasn't expecting them to make a certain meme real.

Photos of my visit to Kaizuka City in Osaka.

It’s a approx 45 min train ride from Namba on the way to Kansai International.

It is also the home city of seiyuu Aya Hisakawa (Sailor Mercury, Cure Moonlight, Kero-chan etc.)

Her actual birthplace is somewhere in Mizuma (I don’t want to disclose the true location for safety purposes - and to avoid over-tourism)

I took a few pictures of the sights within the city. Mostly the shrine which is a 5-10 min walk from the station

Essentially, a outer rural-like suburb, away from the crowdedness of Namba and Osaka main. Lots of seniors around once you get into Mizuma because the railway that gets you from Kaizuka city main to Mizuma (the final stop) is pretty old fashioned, it’s like you’re back in time despite people mostly using IC cards for train commutes.

Much like when you’re out of Osaka and Namba, there is barely any English once you reach Mizuma. It is only if you’re in Kaizuka city itself and the city train station where there is some English

As proof I went to Aya Hisakawa’s birthplace, here is a photo of an autographed Sailor Mercury and Luna that has its colouring already faded to time but her signature is still there.

I had a new Phone since last December but forgot to add Tumblr because I’ve been busy

A lot has happened and I mean A LOT

The Good:

- Finally went to Japan after 7 years since my last one

- Visited the birthplace of a certain seiyuu

The Bad

- I got scammed by a phishing scammer on Twitter that hacked cosplayer Yona Kuromatoki’s Podcast Account (a fellow follower but not mutuals with)

- Said scammer attempted threats on my life one month since the scam, which I have promptly ignored and blocked their number

- Tired from work because I’m trying to get that money back through work

Three more arrived so now I’m almost completed on the fave Precure Otedama plush stack.

I only need one more but space inside is very tight.

I can’t even remember what month I started watching Heartcatch, my files says August 2010, but pretty sure it’s earlier than that.

I don’t even want to look at LiveJournal either.

But it will be 15 years since I started watching Precure and Heartcatch.

Also 15 years of Cure Moonlight as my favourite Precure of all fucking time.

Getting tired of Precure acrylic stands since the 20th anniversary merch line. Precure Otedamas are truly the best Precure collectible plush right now!

Still missing a few Precure on the collection. Hopefully I will get them soon!
