Skipper dancing but I changed the music because I was bored
Let’s grieve lost childhood and connection to native culture with papa :) (Alex and Zuba, Madagascar 2)
Do you happen to know if Rico's rank has ever been mentioned? like in any promo for the series or anything??
No I don't believe that it has!! I've seen sergeant thrown around for him before but that's a fanon thing!
Well I think I found something but I doubt it's official
from Skipper's log nsldkfldk im sleepy
Oh I forgot about this!!! Canon-adjacent perhaps?
In the army, the quartermaster is the one in charge of—among other things—distributing supplies, which makes perfect sense for Rico. However, in the navy, the quartermaster is in charge of navigation, which is more Kowalski's forte. In both cases though it's not really a "rank", it's a specialty, so Rico's actual rank is still a mystery 🤔
if you vote me for president i vow to make everything the ocean again. no more land only ocean. this will solve all of our problems and replace them with new, far more interesting problems
The Penguins of Magadascar
This day, 15th years ago I posted my first artwork online ever. Under the name "Grafiteboy" I posted my MS Paint art of "The Penguins of Madagascar" Today I revisity that little crew as a tribute to my younger self
Is a bit ironic that my original screen name was "The Grafiteboy" (Yes, that's what TGB stands for) while my first published art was full digital
fun fact in the dutch dub of TPOM Private's name isnt Private its JUNIOR😭😭😭😭😭😭 Thats so moe I love my found family I love these 4 bullshit brothers so cute awww who do u guys think hes named after be honest
Sorry for the lack of content, I've been redevloping Kowalski's lab! I wanted it to feel more lived-in, and less like a chemist and more like an engineer. It was a lot of fun to make, and I still have some stuff yet to add.

HAPPY 21ST MADAGASCAR!!!!
Just a simple little thing for the anniversary. I'm so rusty at drawing these goobers ;—; but maybe I'll get back into it!

Happy 21st Birthday Madagascar!!!
This movie is now old enough to legally drink in the US! 🎉

Recent additions to my Madagascar collection!
I went waaay overboard on this splurge—I actually went back twice more after the initial splurge and bought more stuff 😭 So I am on a self-imposed ebay ban until further notice! But I'd love to show y'all the stuff I got!

i was missing tpom and ahkj 🥲💔
The first half of TPoM season 1 has such a weird vibe. Not in a bad way but it's just very noticeable. They haven't decided what they're doing with any of the characters yet—even the penguins, the direct main characters, take a long time to start feeling fleshed out. This results in a lot of plot-driven episodes rather than character-driven ones, which again is not bad, but you really feel how simple and plain the early episode plots are compared to how wacky they get later on when the characters have actual personalities to work with.
We've talked before about how underutilized Marlene is. It's so clear that they wanted her to be a main character because she's in a lot of episodes, but rarely does she actually have anything to do. More often than not she's just there to serve as exposition, which really sucks because she's so fun when she has a bigger part in the plot. This also happens to an extent with Phil and Mason; they appear quite frequently in the early episodes but have very little to do (come to think of it, both chimp-centric episodes are in season 1 and then after that we see them less and less). I think the crew did this partly because they hadn't created any side characters yet so they had very few characters to actually work with—it's really a hot minute before any other zoo animals start to appear with regularity.
part 4. the last for now
Bravissimo, Private!
