It's the end of the week

I also want to thank everyone who liked or shared the posts. Your engagement helped encourage everyone and hopefully helped more people see the entries. We've seen some dedicated love for the Penguin this year and maybe next year we'll see even more 💜

re: the poll- i think the drop in numbers is due to the rise in popularity of art fight (which goes on all of July) so penguin week being the last week of july, bobody had energy/time to put into it after all month </3

Thank you for the direct input. I've seen a couple of people cite art fight as a reason so I am thinking about moving the week to maybe August next year. I'll probably put out a new poll after this one has run to get feedback on a date.

Or actually, one statistic. This year we had 30 entries, with nothing on AO3, and last year there were 72 overall. So let's have a poll instead.

Why the drop in numbers?

Penguin Week clashed with another event

Too tired/stressed/burned out

There's no current Penguin media

I thought it was still upcoming

Inspiration was lacking

Last year discouraged me

Online BS (AI, age verification) has put me off sharing
