Handed in by a previous owner and has struggled to adjust to its new situation. Settled now and just needing love and T.L.C to flourish.

A fancy breed which has been popular although there is not a lot of information available. An interesting work to discover how to handle.

An unusual specimen with a mixed heritage which raises unique challenges. Balancing the needs of each side will require focused care.

Under the Desk

A common type with easy to manage conditions. The kind that might get overlooked for being average but still has much to offer.

What is Reality?

An older fic that needs extra care to give the best chance. It has arthritis but physical therapy and patience could engender a real change.

This fic ended up here after being declared to have behavioural issues. Perhaps it was misunderstood but we believe every idea deserves a second chance.

Multifaceted

One of the largest residents and consequently requiring patience as progress can be slow. So much love and entertainment are possible though and it might even parent a fic or two.

A fic with recognisable heritage from other media that will of necessity shape it. Ultimately we hope to see it grow into its own independance.

Leave my heart with you

Troubled with doubts about its purpose, this fic requires slow handling to rebuild confidence. Physically strong but lacking in self-esteem.

Something of an oddity. With such a little known pedigree we don't really know what to expect but we support all sorts here.

surprisingly forward-thinking of jim henson and co. to make a female character in the 70's that's allowed to be loud-mouthed and violent and kind of overwhelmingly romantic and even a huge bitch at times and not have a moment where any character asks her to change

going through all the muppet movies in a row made me realize that like. miss piggy was made in the 70's. and it's so rare even today to have a character like her. she's loud, she's selfish, she's funny, she's extremely vain, she's obsessed with romance, she's violent, she's kind of annoying, and there's not a single moment in any of these films where she's asked to tone down any of these personality traits. i am not joking when i say that miss piggy might be one of the best treated female characters ever written

In Gotham they don’t hold beauty pageants. They hold Rogue Pageants where average citizens dress up as villains and let people like Two-Face and Scarecrow judge them.

All the money raised goes to the Gotham children's hospital, the rogues take part because they get to come out and be cheered for by their fans instead of boo'd off the streets. Also, the majority of them actually like being seen in a positive light for once, batman even encourages them to participate as a healthy alternative to villainy.

Also, there's Joker doing drag during the commercials. And we all need that in our lives.

good for you! however as a creator I despise consumption culture. it's not about popularity, I get thousands of notes on some of my other posts. it's about people being reluctant to share your work with others. if you look at posts from, say, 2015, you'll find that the likes to reblogs ratio is more or less equal, and sometimes there's more reblogs than likes. this is not the case now, especially with art/fanfiction/gifsets etc. because on "marketable" apps like tiktok and instagram, you're expected to endlessly scroll without sharing. the same thing is happening to this website. fandom thrives on interaction, and if there's no interaction, is there any point in fandom? that's what I'm worried about, not "popularity"
