Stopped working?” He pressed the button himself as if his own touch would fix the given situation. “Okay, we can just call someone. There’s nothing to panic about yet. You have your phone on you?”

She had to bite back a snort at the other trying to start the elevator. It wasn't like she'd not already tried button mashing - it worked with computer games, it should have worked with this but no. "Mine ran flat upstairs with my last delivery. Was heading back to the shop to get it charged up." Peony rubbed her temples with a hand, biting back the groan about it all. "Do you have yours? Is the intercom button working?"

OOC Announcement

Ah I finally decided to switch up. While I loved having Michelle (and may sometime in future change back when there are more gifs available) - the range of gifs was really depressing me.

So from now (and in other gif-based things still running) I'll be using my secondary face-choice for Peony of Ms Alona Tal like I mentioned. (When you have this many gifs, you've got to use it sometime!)

Zeke didn’t even notice how close Peony was by his side until she held back one of his punches. He didn’t even realize how much of a scene they had caused until the music stopped and the guys who had been crowding around them scattered like flies. Zeke stood up straight, rubbing the that had started to dribble from his nose. Caught red handed, of all things.

The bouncer looked between Tony, Peony, and Zeke frown set. “We don’t need this shit. All of you, out.” Him and some other security guards started to round them up, Tony by both his arms, but unfortunately for the bouncer, he made the wrong decision of man handling Peony himself. Zeke, still high on the adrenaline, shoved at the bouncer too. “Hey! She had nothing to do with this leave her alone!”

Peony nodded her head along at the bouncer's request - tonight was obviously going to be over a lot swifter than their past nights out had been, but perhaps that was for the best. She'd meant for them both to get to blow off some steam and have some fun, but forgot to factor in the other's quick and brutal temper into her decision making suggestions.

It wasn't until the bouncer's hand curled around her upper bicep and she flicked a glance back at her friend that she realised just how much he'd needed a night out but also didn't as Zeke shoved at the man and the bouncer let her go to turn on him. "Shit, no he- he didn't mean that, it's a misunderstanding, sir, we've just had a bit to drink..." Peony's words fell on deaf ears as the bouncers piled onto all three of them, and started calling for someone to phone in the cops.

"You still feeling big, hotshot?" He looked down at ‘Tony’, who was moaning in pain. Zeke took a sliver of pleasure from that. The adrenaline from fighting had always been one of Zeke’s greatest addictions over the years. And while he had that lapse of self control the past year or so, it was fair game now. Distantly he heard someone calling out his name, and looked up right as Peony was smacking someone away. “Oi, you guys just don’t know when to quite huh?” He shoved off of the sorry heap on the floor to push back the guy even more, even holding up his fist threateningly. “Fucking try me.”

She wanted to hit herself for thinking up the idea as Zeke grabbed a hold of the next guy, shoving and elbowing the man closest to her gathered around for the fighting to get to the other's side. "Cool it Zeke, deep breaths! We're going to get in trouble!" Peony started to shout over the noise until halfway through her words the pounding music shut off completely and the crowd quieted down along with it. "Shit..."

The dark haired girl spotted the cause of the silence, the bouncer that was making his way across to them from one direction and the other in the other. "Well this will be splendid- evening, sorry about the ruckus." She tried to jump straight into an act of sweet innocence as she covered Zeke's raised fist with a hand. It was obviously not going to work from the look on the security guards face.

"I know. It’s good they are it’s just a pain in the ass when it’s at the same time. But such is life. The Buzz? Yeah that sounds alright. I apologize if there’s china flung at us. The uhh … well the manager and I kinda aren’t on the best of terms. But I’m buying so lets go. You can tell me about these flowers and what not."

"Well that sounds like a story and a half if I've ever heard one! Flying cutlery though, I think I can handle it. Oh no, think of it as my treat for your civic duty, and for listening to me ramble about rather uninteresting flowers I'm sure."
