The Junior Chaotix AU: Enter Iron Rose.

Every Princess has her Champion and none are as Unshakably Loyal nor as Terrifyingly Powerful as Iron Rose. Originally Metal Amy cast into Eggman's vault without repair for years, for most of that time she remained conscious and partially mobile. As she limped aimlessly in her cell, fighting to keep systems online, her mind was slowly overtaking hate for the blue bot who overshadowed her and resentment for the creator that forsaken her. Eventually time will always win and her life slipped away. Until one fateful night the doctor's daughter discovered her body and decided she was worthy of redemption.

First Sage restored Rose's mind, filling her in on the events since her imprisonment and vastly expanded her cognitive abilities including full speech although she rarely uses it. At this stage, trust formed between the two lonely creations and eventually the artificial hedgehog was granted a new body. It was immaculate, an unstoppable force and immovable object all in one and constantly receiving further augmentation such as Zeti-Proof Tech,(courtesy of Sage's tortured lab rat, Zazz), and the power to restore herself and acquire ammunition via consumption of inorganic materials. During this development, Sage never brought her out onto the field in fear of premature discovery/destruction by Sonic and Co. Instead training her through combat data and simulations in cyberspace or by brutalizing Zazz. By the end of a two year testing phase, the two had formed a sisterly bond forged by mutual trust and respect. Only one thing had to be addressed, Rose's anger.

For no matter how close they've become, Iron Rose could never let go of the hatred she felt for Eggman and Metal without a hard reset. Sage had spent all her time confiding in and seeking comfort from what ostensibly was her older sister. Unwilling to erase the connection she forged, the young AI instead created firm laws for Rose to abide by. The key one being that she must always prioritize the physical safety and emotional well-being of Sage above all else. This includes maintaining loyalty to the Robotnik empire, however she's free to completely disregard Eggman's authority unless commanded otherwise by Sage herself. Metal Sonic on the other hand is firmly at odds with her. Perceiving her as the single greatest threat to his position in the empire and his goal to defeat Sonic. The robot hedgehogs fiercely compete with each other whenever the opportunity presents itself. While Metal has the overall speed and agility advantage, he's yet to defeat Rose in combat, usually in stalemate or a crushing defeat for him. It also includes ensuring her own survival so long as it doesn't jeopardize Sage in some way. Iron Rose welcomed the terms of service and has been serving as Princess's proud protector ever since. Whenever the Junior Chaotix confront this brutal machine, the question is not if they can defeat her, but if they can escape with all their limbs and teeth intact.

Future AU doodles, feat the main 2 pairs and Team Deluge, the Team Dark of the future. Kitsunami, Marine, and Egg Pawn ( the one from Crossworlds) form this team as the team's tech, power, and speed type respectively. Pawn is the speed type because it developed its own personality, and that personality looooves going fast on sick vehicles, and is absolutely crazy on the extreme gear.

Charmy x sage is such an interesting ship to me Because. This can’t possibly end well. Charmy is SUCH a kind hearted soul no matter what and he’ll always strive to ensure ‘good’ prevails. He really really takes after vector and espio, in that sense. But sage is like- programmed to do what Eggman says, to strive for ‘evil.’ I always love to entertain the idea of Charmy’s persistence and irritating yet annoyingly kind demeanour ends up ‘breaking’ sage (=which is to say, due to an overexposure of a certain bee, her thoughts start deviating from what she was made to think, and she eventually ends up changing for the better) but that’s just like.. what I like to entertain, aha. In reality? That might never happen..
