... you should know that nbc were on negotiations to buy the rights to make an adaptation of el ministerio del tiempo, a spanish TV show, but then the american network backed down and now there's this show who has the same plot and very similar characters.

If you decide to watch the show, you would be feeding and promoting a plagiarized product!

ngl i want a #dadandson episode in which jake and holt go undercover and jake introduces holt as his father and the perp just goes “he’s your father? but he’s-”

“-black?” jake fills in for him, starting a passionate rant about how fatherhood is about more than just blood and he lowkey mentions roger and how holt was a better father than him than he ever will be and the perp is shown to instantly regret his words while holt is in the back rolling his eyes until he finally interrupts jake and they get on w/ the mission.

throughout the episode, jake is really the only one who’s actively talking about their relation to one another and because of that, people around them start to suspect that maybe they’re not who they claim to be. their cover slowly starts to crumble, but before it does, someone tries to accuse jake of being a fraud and holt steps in with an intense speech about how much he cares about his “son”.

the outburst was unexpected and it surprises jake to say the least, but when holt calms down and looks back at him, they both exchange a look that says that holt is finally devoted to the mission and the story that jake came up with for them, and that maybe holt’s speech is ambiguous. the others may not know it, but holt didn’t only refer to jake’s character as his son, but in a way, jake as well.

bonus: one of the characters on b99, maybe gina or kevin, one day says something along the lines of “just call him ‘son’ and let’s move on”

Can I take a moment to gush about how Brooklyn Nine Nine is handling Melissa Fumero’s pregnancy? Jake’s and Amy’s relationship is not in a place yet where they would be making babies, and while B99 has done its share of just hiding Melissa (Amy sitting a lot, Amy holding binders in front of her, Amy standing behind giant computer monitors), they’ve also come up with creative ways to disguise Melissa’s baby bump (putting EVERYONE in those bomb squad suits).

And now they’ve come up with an undercover fake pregnancy storyline to fully integrate Amy into the plot that will likely take them through the rest of the season, rather than sideline the character when both the show’s season and the actress’s pregnancy reach their peaks.

I was spending my holidays outside and i finally came back.

PD: Yesterday I was in a plane and i could watch brooklyn nine-nine in there. I mean, they broadcasted brooklyn nine-nine in the big tvs and i couldn’t believe. All the plane was watching the show. It was just one episode but still
