‘How should I play this fiddle’.
I feel like this is exactly the same look he had with Lilith and Eve.
//Alright baes. It’s 1am here and I am starting to get an awful awful headache. I’ll get to my replies tomorrow. Thanks sweeties!
//Let me just make something clear ooc//
Honestly I feel like Sam added ‘hands off Cas’ to he and Lu’s contract?
Which makes you wonder what he gave up to keep Cas safe. Food for thought!
// WHY WOULD YOU PUT THAT FUCKING— IF HE GAVE UP ANYTHING FOR CAS -CAS IS GONNA JUST DEMAND TO GO HOME.
I have a feeling Sam is never telling. Not even his mun. DX
"Long time no see, brother. The last time we got together you tried to kill me, so forgive me for being a wee bit bitter about that one."
Lucifer sighed, and there was a minute pinch just at the inside corner of his eyebrows. He was quiet for a long moment before he answered.
“… You chose the humans over your family, Gabriel. Over me.” but Lucifer’s heart clearly wasn’t in the sentence. “ … I wish you hadn’t. I wish I had not had to make that choice.”
“Oh please Luce, like you give a shit about family. Don’t you go talking about betraying family when you were the first one of us to pull that stunt. Look I have to admit that I agreed with you a bit at first, Dad pulled something like that on us with little to no warning.”Gabriel had tried to see it from both point of views since their war had begun, contemplating the argument of both sides without letting his personal feelings for his older brothers get in the way but he still struggled to choose between them.
“But going against Dad was the wrong call, he may not have been right but even I have to admit he’s a man you shouldn’t mess with. Let’s just talk it out Luce, I’m sick of all the bad blood between us and our terrible family.”
If Lucifer’s walls had been about to come down for the sake of his younger brother, they instantly came snapping back up; and his grace reacted by going even colder. The expression of pain faded from his face and was gone in a heartbeat; replaced instead by his placid, mock genteel demeanor.
“Are you.” it wasn’t a question. Lucifer took a gliding step forward, putting him in close proximity to Gabriel. He craned his head in a manner that was inhuman and serpentine-fluid.
“… And what makes you think I ‘give a shit’ about your feelings, Gabriel?”
“I was kind of hoping that after everything we’ve been through that you’d still be my favourite big brother, since you practically raised me as dad never really did much. We’ve lost enough of our family Luce, don’t you agree?” He needed a reaction, anything besides the cold mask his brother had put up, the silence pained him as did the tension between him and his two older brothers especially when they used to be so close to one another.
“Give me your thoughts Luci, I’m all ears to hear what you have to say.”
“But I don’t care about my family, Gabriel. Isn’t that right? Those were your words after all.”
Lucifer practically spat them, however, as they were spoken.
He had mourned Gabriel. Wept bitterly over his brother’s death. Contemplated even going back and altering time to stop his mistake. He had been God’s most beloved son once, after all; second only to his creator, after all. There was precious little his grace was not capable of. He’d even watched himself murder his younger sibling.
Over.
and over.
and over.
And wept.
And watched again.
And again.
Lucifer’s cheeks hollowed; his eyes slowly turned watered, and glassy.
Then, he turned away.
“ …Go home, Gabriel. Wherever you choose to make it these days. So long as it is far from here.”
“Not without making amends with you first, Michael has already stopped speaking to me and Raphael is dead because of the civil war that took place, you’re one of the few people that I care about that I still have left.” He had lost far too much of his family to risk losing him too, even though they didn’t see eye-to-eye on a few things he didn’t want to lose his brother over petty arguments.
“Please Luce, I’m willing to meet you half way. Don’t tell me you want to keep fighting with me.” The younger Archangel blinked back the tears in his golden eyes before turning back to face his elder brother, waiting for him to respond.
“I never wanted to fight with you, Gabriel.”
Lucifer turned on Gabriel then, and his eyes had gone the white-gray of a winter snowstorm, and glowing. He lifted his chin and regarded his brother before he spoke again.
“What would you have me say to you, Gabriel? I am furious with you. Utterly. You stand and accuse me of callous disregard. And you do so because you do not know that when I thought you dead, I prayed to Our Father for the first time since this world was made, that he would smite me also. I did not want to endure in a universe without you in it.”
“And he was silent. And would not appease my guilt. Do you have any idea what that was like for me. . . ?”
“I don’t care about our family.” Lucifer’s tone was venomous, now. “Oh no Gabriel. You’re wrong. Everything I have ever done, is because I care. I stood on the day the world nearly ended, and I pleaded with Michael that we should not fight. I would lay down my blade for him, if he would also. I was even willing to spare the humans--well. Most of them--to keep from having the ending he wanted so badly.”
“He refused, Gabriel.”
Lucifer’s hurt started to boil up through the poison in his tone.
“ . . . You’ve got it all wrong, Gabriel.” [pause] “Just like the rest of them.”
+sulphurousfallen
“Don’t we all.” Lucifer returned somberly. Then, he added. “Sam is asleep. I imagine he’ll eventually depart to heaven, whenever his brother decides to make the trip.” here, Lucifer sounded exasperated. “The whole–’Winchester self sacrifice thing’. Of course I’m bound to my word. Until that happens, however. He’ll dream his dreams. It’s best for everyone, really.”
Now Lucifer was giving Azazel a curious once over-how much did his fallen brother actually care for his vessel? That was the real question. Lucifer spotted the sentiment almost a second after he asked himself that same question.
“Don’t worry, Azazel. He’s well looked after. I’ll even let you speak to him. Once you’ve gotten situated, of course. We can’t rush these sorts of ‘happy’ reunions.”
He cared for Sam about as much as he had cared for Meg and Tom - which wasn’t actually a small amount. But Lucifer and the plans he had was more important than any human or demon. “Of course not. I may have gotten to see him grow up but you know him better than anyone.”
Though Azazel’s angelic senses still aren’t what they used to be, he’s almost certain he can feel some other familiar traces of grace around the area. Some almost intimately familiar.
“Before I get settled in… I’m curious as to who else lives here. I doubt you’d have this whole place just for yourself and me.”
Now Lucifer smiled-a hint of something simultaneously menacing and tantelizing hanging in the air between them.
But The Devil folded his hands in front of him to mimic the gesture of someone in patient waiting.
“Michael does. He rarely enters the house; he keeps to the guest cottages on the other end of the grounds.”
“Salomka, my wife. My blood son, Singer. A despondent Castiel that Sam nagged at me to rescue. He’s from another time; harmless; I wouldn’t be concerned.”
“And . . .” Lucifer’s voice dripped, now, with delight. “ . . .Raphael.”
//Let me just make something clear ooc//
When Sam figured out about End!verse and what had happened to Cas there? He HOUNDED Lucifer to go get him. HOUNDED. HIM. Lucifer kept trying to put him back under and Sam was having NONE O F THAT.
My Sam is strong enough to beat back Lucifer if Lu is too much of an asshole. He has to have an anchor (Dean, Cas, or Baby), but he can do it.
SO THATS GOOD MAYBE?
// Sam is too fucking sweet.
like legit though– the thought that one day Lu might just take over Sam–gives Cas awful nightmares. I honestly don’t think he’ll ever get used to Lu.
Honestly I feel like Sam added ‘hands off Cas’ to he and Lu’s contract?

“We were about to sit down for drinks on the terrace. But I suppose I’ve a moment to spare. Unless you care to join us.”
“If that’s an invitation, I’d like to join you.” Ciar said, trying to be as respectful as he could. This was a different time, different place. Different Lucifer.
“Of course.”
Lucifer was wary of this child; the air around him was cool and permeated with what felt like Lucifer’s own grace.
Lucifer glided out to the balcony overlooking the grounds, the garden of which below seemed remarkably unaffected by the winter cold. Lucifer sat himself, but one of the staff demons of the house rushed ahead of Ciar to pull out a chair for their guest.
“So.” Lucifer reclined in smooth fashion; today he wasn’t wearing one of his more formal suits; instead he’d opted for simple jeans and an expensive V neck cotton shirt. He smiled in gentlemanly fashion at Ciar. “While you decide what you’d like for lunch. Tell me what brings you so far from your time?”
//Let me just make something clear ooc//
// meanwhile Cas:
Because of Sam, basically, and Sam’s like HANDS OFF LUCIFER.
// that only makes Cas slightly less nervous. SLIGHTLY.

Unless you’re one of the following people:
-his brother Michael
-his brother Gabriel
-his wife or son (Salome or Singer)
-Raphael (established through RP)
-one of his loyalists (Azazel, Alastair, Ruby, Meg, ect)
… there is absolutely no guarantee that Lucifer will like you or even be nice to your character. He despises and hates humans, feels betrayed by anyone who didn’t follow him in the fall, and loves demons even less than humans.
If he’s nice to you, it’s because he thinks he can *use you for something*. Lucifer tolerates people at best, likes only a handful, and loves precious, precious few. He’s evil, manipulative, even abusive. He’s a sociopath at best.
If this makes you uncomfortable, this might not be a good blog for you.
Stating for people’s safety and mental health. Thank you.

Friendly reminder that he refused to be mated to a human woman so he severed part of his grace and gave it to her.
Not to say he doesn’t love her because that’s hella obvious, but context about how much he dislikes humans.
Truth be told, if he hadn’t have been able to do that, he probably would have killed her outright. Because no way would he tolerate having feelings for any other human (but sam). He hates them THAT MUCH.
@perditioninthegarden
DID YOU JUST MAKE A MAHJONG REFERENCE
I FUCKING LOVE YOU
I DID.
LUCIFER DOESNT UNDERSTAND WHAT SHE LOVES ABOUT IT.
BUT BY GOD HE’LL KEEP TRACK OF HER DATES FOR HER BECAUSE HE KNOWS ITS HER THING.

“Ah–yes, unfortunately. We tried that, once apon a time. It didn’t quite work out the way our little softball team had imagined it would. It’s what happens when you allow the monkeys to run the zoo.” Lucifer tsked.
“So. This time? We do things my way. It’s a good deal more subtle. But. All good things in time. I prefer the artful approach…much less cleaning up to do when it’s all said and done with.”
“You plan on staying, I hope?”
“Of course.”
“I’m not about to leave your side after everything I did to try and get you out. Though I am curious if Sam is on board with me staying. I did completely destroy his family.”
He paused. “And I have some concerns about the state of Hell.”
“Don’t we all.” Lucifer returned somberly. Then, he added. “Sam is asleep. Lucifer almost snarled at the child.
Almost.
Instead, The Devil only smoothed his hands down the breast of his expensive suit jacket, and tilted another small, forced smile.
“So glad we understand one another, then.” though the devil saw one of the staff coming back with his drink. He held out his hand without removing his gaze from her, and the sparkling gin was set in it with no fanfare.
There was no tea to follow.
“ …I think you can show yourself out, Haniel.”
She then jsut glared at him. For a moment she thought she could actually reason with her older brother but no..after all he was still that stubborn and ignorant being as he always was. “ Yes , next time when you see me it wont be this nice and welcoming..”
Lucifer raised an ‘oh!’ eyebrow. “Threats now? I’m absolutely tingling with anticipation. I do so love it when a pretense of love turns into utter spite.”
Smile faded again, and now Lucifer’s eyes were almost glowing white in the iris.
“Get out.”
