I drew Samekichi ahhhh
Originally this was going to be a redraw of some scene, but then i got lazy with the background lmao skjhgsdf
samekichi tips his fedora sadly..
“Samekichi. I… I trust you. I don’t think you’re bad.”
cue the loud sound of flesh tearing and lips smacking as the shark kindly takes it upon himself to indulge upon the surplus of very fresh sashimi. utterly unappetizing whence prepared by him, but a meal nonetheless. chalk up home cooked meals as number two of the things he misses.
Dead is dead. Very definitive. Life, on the other hand, is filled to the brim with intricacies and variables. Tomorrow you could save someone’s life. Tomorrow you could be offered the job of a lifetime. Tomorrow you could tell someone that you love them. Tomorrow you can do anything. As long as we have tomorrow, we have the world.

i triggered it tbh. no shame
and in this exact moment, Samekichi stopped believing in even himself.
" i've never seen hell ... but i've overheard the conversations that could only go on in there. gross. "
Zack Hemsey - Waiting Between Worlds
'He was looking at a pale sun rise, Thinking back on the time gone by, How he loved and he laughed and he cried, How it all was a blink of an eye, Now he’s looking at the shake in his hand, Thinking how much more of life can he stand, And how many years can he cram, Before his fate gives way and he’s ash in the sand, And is it the last stop on the road, Or the next step in a path grand and unknown, A milestone formed from the fruits of his ways, Okay in what comes with the end of his days, But the sun’s rays shine on a face so divine, "An angel of mine" goes the phrase in his mind, Wise to the signs, knowing soon is the time, But he isn’t ready to say goodbye,’
demonmaxwell:
It had been quite some time since Maxwell had ever encountered someone so quick to distrust him. It was a bit of a refresher, but at the same time, a bit concerning. If someone was already suspicious of him, then perhaps it would lead things to being more difficult. Then again, said person could also be just paranoid and lashing out at anyone who looks somewhat suspicious.
Which the demon clearly did fit.
“Them?" The demon chuckled, his eyes glaring at the other, a malicious intent clear to be seen.
“I have no idea who you’re talking about, pal. Perhaps you could… enlighten me on who… they are.”
but a simple water mammal is he, with simple ambitions backing him. protect her, from him. he can't concern himself with other details. such is curbed by oppressive narrowness towards that singular malignity that will persist unnamed. the water has ears, he can't say anything, and that's just how it has to be.
" hmm... not, with them? " an absentminded hushed parroting. albeit, they would never present himself, but oh so often is that fact overlooked. and betwixt the two, an eerie vibe is easily discerned, it is no wonder why he is on guard. loosening of lidded sapphire, one final festering testament of hostility escapes his lips, attempting to snuff out deceit.
" just-- nevermind. ... even so, you should leave now. " the less company the better. a veteran to danger itself, yet so idly obvious to it's wake; the ex-com vanguard speaks of vigor whence making decisions of another's part. " this isn't a place you want to be. "
ohh Samekichi…
moonlightseashine:
The second he touches her clothes she swipes at him. Not in an effort to hurt him, but in an effort to get herself free. Her fear increases tenfold as she is stopped, restrained, at his mercy.
"Stop it!" she cries. Her voice is shakier than she intends it to be. "I can’t leave, Samekichi, I have to go home to my sea and you can’t stop me!”
Sea God help her, she just wants to go home. The last thing she wants is more conflict, particularly with him.
" ... " is his grip really so malign a gesture to her? he honestly hates to fathom what lies have been spread to create such, yet to see such a warmth is truly extinguished; he is content. for but a moment, coincidentally tense. expressed only through squinting of sapphire orbs into thin slits. yet her anguish and discord will not deter his resolve.
" then leave!! " his volume is increased, only to assist his evident intolerance at this point already. is of course his prompt response to her beseech of release. contact betwixt the two, to his memory, had never evicted such immediate fear and resolve to leave outright. needless to say his frustration swifter than her own pleas and such, his tongue is a slave to the rage. " i can and i will stop you! you just can't be here dammit!! "

So many strange beings lately, none of them human, yet appearing very human like. It was all quite strange. Allowing the slightest hint of curiousness to grace his features the Xingese heir offers a small nod in greeting. “Good day.”
he's unfamiliar, given this side the world. where as he is vastly indulged with the oceanic depths and shallows, terra masses and ranges eternally pull the wool over on him. though, whence the natives are kind enough to speak so freely; he hardly sees reason to complain. a brief waving of abysmal claw-like dactyl, granting attention. accompanied by lightheartedness tinting the pale murky features.
" guess it is, isn't it. " a frivolous response, for a frivolous greeting.
chisaichi:
Ink-colored optics are locked upon the thoroughly beaten up shark. Had her uncle already gotten to him? He didn’t seem very happy— Or in a good mood to see an individual of her kind either. However, she wasn’t going to leave him— If he tried to get away, she would follow, for that was the kind of curious orca she was.
“…What happened to you?” The dark-haired girl inquired upon his current state. Her voice was accompanied with a hint of concern, for she had never truly seen the outcomes of her uncle’s bullying. But she knew he was very powerful and strong. This shark seemed to be like some kind of punk— Or an individual who disrespects most things if it sees fit to him that the aura of another is suspicious.
" huh? " aquatic tinted orbs shift skeptics to the ground, narrowed in a moment of solemn thought that doth pass silently. there's surely no point attempting retreat, so he treads on ice with care. sluggish meeting of optics express his attention. he's shaky, and hardly manages to suppress it. the aftereffect provided from encounter prior. teeth grind for a moment, as his silence is given as a response flagging inspection. features loosen ever so softly, yet to accommodate softening, he retreats a step.
" are you ... with him? " brows narrow and slits glare down the seemingly naive. absentmindedly of course, he inquires another before presenting any insight as to his own mentality. there are currently two enemies ranking the list, and that orca definitely placed number two. if it is possible, likely he would rather remain free of association with such... bullies.
