Today on I hate myself and I want to die
• my best friend died 2 years ago today • I thought it would be a great idea to drive to his accident site and instead I had a panic attack whilst driving, therefore almost killing myself • When he didnt respond to an email, I thought up some elaborate story of how my boyfriend was cheating on me, just because my Ain't Shit exes cheated on me.. •its 2:43 am & I'm on my 4th panic attack. • I haven't eaten in 4 days MAN I LOVE LIFE

Sometimes late at night, I read our old messages. I look at our pictures. I laugh at our jokes. I do everything I can to make it feel like you’re still here. Like you never left. And then I snap back into my harsh reality of you being gone. Of you being gone with no hope of return. And I shatter. I shatter like my phone screen the first time you kissed me. Like the glass in your car when you hit that tree just a little too hard. Like my heart when they told me you didn’t make it. And just like your accident- we cant pick up the pieces. We cant pick up the pieces and carefully place them back together. Because the damage is done. I. Am done.

the hardest part about leaving toxic people is that you know when you leave, they won’t chase after you. they won’t be begging on their hands and knees for you like you would have done for them. they’ll just let you walk away, never even look at you in their rear view mirror, and move on like nothing has changed. and it’s terrifying, because you’ll finally have to come to the cold hard realization that they never cared if you stayed.

yo I’m all about supporting girls wearing whatever the fuck they want and booty shorts are a-ok in my book but I also think it’s important to realize that this is also one of the only clothing options given to young girls when it comes to summer wear. if you’re shopping in clothing stores or sections targeted at teenage girls it’s nearly impossible to find anything in-between booty shorts and knee-length capris. like booty shorts are literally the only shorts marketed to us and I think that speaks a lot more about the hypersexualization of young girls by our society/the clothing industry than it does about the actual kids wearing them tbh
