hello! thank you for being so sweet! 🥺💕 firstly, i hope you are doing better now. i'm truly very happy for you that the game was able to pull you through a tough time of your life, and i hope along the way, you've also found more things that bring you joy in life. ( っ˶´ ˘ `)っ

coming to your question, friends who know me know how i'd been pulling away from the main story for a while because of the "merry-go-round" approach (and also b/c of the writing quality dipping here and there), and PG had a mammoth task on their hands to get me and many like myself on board with the main story again LMAO. and to be very honest, i'm very impressed as of now. the writing quality is absolutely beautiful, well-paced, well thought out, the parallels, the callbacks, the juxtaposition of events are devastating but brilliant. also appreciate the new gameplay with the city exploration and everything, they help massively with the world-building (the lack of world-building is a complain i have pretty often whenever i talk about LP's storytelling lmao 😂). yes, the concept of "love" has been erased from this world in season 3, and it hurts to watch the guys act like strangers, but when you look beyond the surface, the concept is really delectable, how their love for you is ingrained in their system as an instinct. and i also love how this approach to storytelling offers us a different perspective and takes away from the cliché, letting us see that the men could very well survive without you, but they still choose you to be their world itself, b/c your love adds something to their life, a life that is meaningful and worth living despite the pains and sorrows, something they are willing to fight for with their own life, that love, at the end of the day, is a choice. all in all, given the player reactions on this update, the six months break before this release definitely did PG good haha.

as for translating the chapters, i mean, trust me i so badly want to translate parts of Li Zeyan’s chapters. i have so much to yap, but i can't do them properly without actually translating since i'd have to explain the context every time LMAO. but chapter translations require a lot of time and energy, which i just do not have at the moment, and i still have Li Zeyan's UR card backlog from back in July. so, i can't promise anything at the moment, but i'll definitely share if i do end up translating them~ 🫶

I'm F2P and your translations and youtube upload have been a huge help in keeping up thank you so much for all the effort you put in! I'm trying to plan ahead a bit so aside from his birthday, wedding, and the current UR are there any other standout future dates that you'd recommend saving for? I'm thinking of skipping the AUs since they usually don't do much for me and of course all the top-ups but I'd love to hear your thoughts!

my pleasure! (even though both my translations and uploads have been pretty irregular for a while haha :<) i apologize for taking such a long time to answer, i was debating for the longest time on the format of how i wanted to organize my answer, and decided on doing a google sheet in the end.

since you mentioned you are an F2P, i’m safely assuming the bi-monthly sunshine ERs aka the battle pass cards are also out of the equation for you. so, i’ve left them out along with the top-up cards for this, but do feel free to let me know if you’d be open to considering them, because there are a few i’d have recommended otherwise haha. the free SR, SSR, ER (e.g., shape of you event, pet system) cards + collab cards (e.g., nobi rabbit, ESQUIREFINE) have naturally been excluded for this.

haha i mean, i planned on taking a permanent break after i was done translating the childhood sweetheart confession kiss SP, but uhh the writers have been delivering bangers one after another, so i’m stuck here ig (happy to though haha) 😂 that said, my translations are still very much dependant on my mood (and the dedicated time i can carve out) LMAO 🫠

hmm, tbh it’s very normal to feel the sparks dimming after such a long time. i, for one, have already stopped caring for the main story because having experienced the kind of narrative PG wants to sell (and the repetitive nature of it) as well as the narrative approach other competitors in the market have adopted - i feel like i’ve already seen the extent of what PG can (or wants to) write, and it’s not gonna change much from here, if at all 💀 there was a time in the middle when the writing quality also seriously dipped, and by that i mean, clunky sentences, awkward grammers, exaggerated and unnecessary metaphors - it high-key felt like interns had their hands on deck for those lmao. but whatever the reason, thankfully, after the complains, it has returned to normal (for the most part anyway).

hmm, as for personal wishes for Li Zeyan cards - i feel like i’ve already had all my wishes fulfilled? haha from the big wishes like having a proper tribute to the childhood sweetheart dynamic (which they laid out the foundation for over a year and a half before the card itself), proper integration of our respective careers and us slowly becoming one entity to mirror our same core in other aspects of the story, visiting his mom’s grave together in Èze, watching him blossom to this childish little devil that he’s now and allowing himself to be a complete mess, to be painfully vulnerable in front of us, to small wishes like watching him play the piano on stage (kiss ER), seeing a more willful, unruly and roguish side of him that we’ve nurtured to the surface with loving care (theme for most of his cards this year), even had my casual wish for a kiss card for birthday fulfilled haha 😂🥺

if i had to say something, i’d like for the date cards (and this isn't limited to only Li Zeyan) to have more of a prominent effect from whatever is happening in the main story, and i feel like that would be a nice change of scenery bc you can tell they're running out of ideas if they're recycling banner concepts now lmao. i’d like for them to properly deal with the traumas of the story instead of hopping from one place to another just for the sake of it. i’d like for them to increase the card duration, especially for the AUs, at least allocate as much time as the writers need to tell the story properly instead of constraining them with a time limit. i’d like for them to explore different facets of the characters instead of being boxed in the fixed narrative, take risks, challenge their core, their motives, drive them to the edge so they're compelled to break—

ajshsjhdf that became heavy ig lmao 😂 but on a lighter note, i’d love to see more of that 106 treasure chest (and for Li Zeyan’s shirts to not have buttons anymore/ hjk) + a proper bare view of that glorious back ∠( ᐛ 」∠)_😗 a penguin card like the one mentioned in his first artbook would be nice, would love a visual depiction of our very public kisses that we have in narrative form right now (e.g. kiss cam from the 6th anni event, kissing in the middle of the party with everyone cheering us on in one of his solo cards)... owh owh would be great if PG keeps up the one boyfriend husband shirt art a year trend they have going for Li Zeyan lmao (chances for this year seem very low right now, but hey we can still hope ig🤞😂)

hello! unfortunately no, there has never been a specific date or other content where Li Zeyan adopts Pudding. we only know that Pudding’s first appearance was on Li Zeyan’s weibo (here) in the September of 2018. most people speculate that he got Pudding after MC took him to visit a cat café for the first time, but nothing has ever been officially confirmed :<
