will there be any activity guidelines or checks since this is private?
there won't be any activity checks but i may throw up an interest check every two weeks or so for members to interact with if they want to keep their characters . this is meant to be a small , relaxed group with characters that are all interconnected with each other in some way , so it is important that if you do join , an effort is made to write with everyone since the group is small .
preparing a small opening event for our private group to be posted on wednesday, so if you are interested in joining a period rp based during the hundred year war with countries such as spain, england and france in play, feel free to send me a message and i will share more information !

you have good timing ─ end of year almost ended me in 2025 but i am still interested in making this work .
the final results are in and we are decided on a tudor era group . i have gotten some conflicting opinions on whether or not we should change the royal surname from tudor to an original one , so there is a small poll below to decide on that while i work on the group as a whole .
i will be so excited if tudor era wins! but, per your question i'd change the dynasty name as it has problems tied to it! <3

perhaps , but it is also one of the more popular eras in media , so it should draw more casual writers on top of the history fiends ( affectionate ) . i forgot to put an admin button to check the votes so i can't see what is in the lead atm but i hope you'll still join if it ends up being tudor based .

this will be a tumblr - based group . not really experienced with discord for roleplay , besides plotting purposes . i may look into tupper for specific events or some random , in - character things but our main platform will be tumblr .

oh , i wouldn't mind that either , but continuity in the group plot may be an issue and finding a reason for everyone to be in one place for interaction purposes with both options , as i was hoping to base it in one country and focus on the royalty and nobility of that country versus different kingdoms / regions . it is also so that people wouldn't be alone in their kingdoms / regions as some may be more popular than others , if that makes sense . i will consider this though , as i do love my vikings .

i have a rough plot in mind ... set in england , after some type of conflict , either battle ( if going with mid or post hundred year war ) or plague that forces the royals and nobles to gather for a celebration ... i may include some close countries like france and spain as well , so the plot can be prolonged to include a marriage for alliance . open to suggestions and input for more , however .

potentially . it is something that i think most of us are familiar with due to how prevalent it is in media depictions but i was worried it may be too overdone , unless people think otherwise . if i do decide on this time of history , i may create an alternate universe or something as i hate the needless death of women , even if it is what he is most famous for . #fuckhenryviii
i will be giving it until this weekend to decide if the group will happen , depending on the interest and feedback , as well as deciding on a specific time in history . ideally , i would like to get at least 10 people interested before i start working on anything concrete . it will likely be based in england but as to which monarch was ruling at the time , i am open to suggestions .
