Reflection in Media and Information Literature

My online journey together with my MIL subject is pretty fun even though we were tasked to do a lot of things, we were able to evaluate the things that we have learned. To be honest I can't stop complaining for the tons of work but at the end of the day, I realized that it is important. Even though MIL is not a major subject, it is significant in our life. Living in the world where technology plays a big part, we definitely need MIL. I just want to say to myself that you did well, I am thankful that you didn't give up, even though you still haven't reach your goal, be thankful to everyone who helps you move forward.

THINGS TO CONSIDER

There are times where we thought we finally found the answer but at the end we become disappointed. Getting hurt is natural bit we can prevent it to not suffer, but how? Before making a decision, we should consider different things. We should not lower our guards everytime. Just like how we consider informations, we should do the same in every decision.

Do not expect an apple in a mango tree.

Do not pick green if your desired color is red.

Do not trust someone who drags you down.

Do not believe someone who theoretize everything without even experiencing it.

Nothing is sadder that meeting the right person in the wrong time.

Why is information needs to be right?

As for my future field of work, right and accurate information is needed. Nurses and doctors spent a lot of time in learning different knowledges to ensure that they will apply the right information to the patients. For example, inside the operating room, there are unexpected situations such as unexpected bleeding or it can be a pneumothorax. Our doctors and scrub nurses need to think fast. Thus, the information that they will need should be from their prior experience from their superiors or from medical books they spent years to memorize.

Right information saves lives.
