the human body when you use it and exist in it
I think for the sake of organization and because I just wanna yap aboyt Bullet Journal again. I'm gonna have a blog dedicated tag for it.
#bullet journal 📖 <- searchable on the blog
Other bullet journaling tags just for extra posts in the tag
I FINALLY found the link to this blog that has so many good posts for bullet journaling. If you're looking for actual organizational tips and changes to make, this blog is the place for you!
A collection of articles carefully demonstrating how to use the Bullet Journal system to increase productivity, stay focused, and live an in
i know it is a privilege to feel things deeply but what the fuck
just identified a behavioral pattern within myself
"do it scared" gets exhausting when you're The Fearful Afraider and everything is scary even when you're in your 30s
Something that I just wish I could find in medical trauma circles is some actual space to have complicated feelings about your medical trauma. Sure, people say they do, but even in their oh so nuanced takes they still boil it down to black and white thinking and still find a way to assign blame.
I'm so tired of it.
Where is the space for people to say that their medical trauma wasn't necessarily The Bad Evil Doctor victimizing them and that they feel it was a deeply tragic event in their life? Where's the space to talk about how confusing it is to have a whole team of people around you doing their damndest to make the process as gentle as possible and it simply wasn't enough? Where's the space to say "I know they did their best. I know they cared. I know they weren't trying to hurt me and it still did" ? Where's the space to talk about how the trauma absolutely affects you without assigning blame? Where's the space for people that don't want to assign blame?
I completely understand there needs to be spaces for the express purpose of assigning blame. Those spaces are a rational response to trauma from being hurt by someone.
I just also want a space where I can just simply say "I was hurt. It wasn't anyone's fault, it had to be done, and I still got hurt by it. What do I do now."
I don't trust anyone. I'm a bad ass lone wolf *eats food someone else grew* *crosses bridge someone else designed and trusts it not to fall* *crosses street in front of 70000lb vehicle cuz there's white lines on the ground telling it to yield*
not to be that person, but making angry posts about the update isn't gonna do anything. if you're actually annoyed, i'd recommend contacting the staff to complain. if everyone does their part, i'm sure these trash updates will be rolled back. let's go!!!
you can send your feedback here: https://www.tumblr.com/support. the more people describing the issue, the better.
tumblr also has accounts on twitter (here) and instagram (this is their latest post). it'd be worth commenting there too! let's flood their last post with complaints, i guarantee we'll get some kind of response.
Reblogs in a chain now get their own notes
The reblog chain is one of the things that makes Tumblr unlike anywhere else. All the notes on reblogs are attributed to the original post, no matter which branch people actually liked or reblogged. We want to keep encouraging conversations, and give contributors the recognition they deserve.
Soon, you'll be able to like, reblog, or reply to any part of a reblog chain, and that note will go to that reblog's author. Each reblog will have its own counts, instead of one aggregated number from every version of the post. And yes, you’ll be able to like multiple posts in one chain.
If a reblog doesn't add anything, the love flows up to the last person in the chain who did. Your post doesn't lose notes just because people spread it quietly.
Past notes will stay on the original post — we're only changing what happens from here on out. Retroactively re-attributing all of them would be... a lot.
This is just the beginning. More changes are coming as we keep building this out – stay tuned!
It’s very clear that you all have strong feelings about Tumblr and about this change. We hear you. The passion people have for how Tumblr works is one of the things that makes this place special.
As this rolls out over the next few days and you explore it, we’ll keep reading your replies and reblogs, so please keep sharing your questions, concerns, and ideas.
Your creativity has always been the heart of Tumblr, whether you’re the original poster or adding something brilliant in the reblogs, and nothing about this change is meant to limit that.
If you’d like to talk directly beyond the comments, leave a reply and we’ll follow up with as many of you as we can. We want to work with you to make Tumblr better.
hey folks do we like this. reblog without commentary for reach
do we want this?

You always feel worse right before your better choices start to really pay off. It’s the extinction burst of the old addictions
To my 25 - 35 year olds, you've reached the age where people around you are starting to give up on themselves because they think it's too late. Don't let that energy rub off on you. It's not too late.
