I block liberally for a variety of reasons, all the way from bigotry to annoyances to regularly posting Harry Potter bullshit. I have a zero tolerance policy. If you put Queen FART-face's media on my dash, knowingly and willingly, I will block you.
I try to keep up on politics and how to best respect people whose experiences I'm unfamiliar with, but I definitely still have blind spots due to a variety of factors. Please point them out to me if and when you see them, and I'll do my best to verify and solve the issue.
I do my best to add alt text / IDs when I'm able to, but I don't always have the energy/wherewithal. If you reblog a post of mine adding stuff like this, I will be forever grateful.
Similarly, I do my best to add content warnings for both common triggers and things that I've been told are triggers for people close to me - that said, sometimes I either don't have the energy or I'm just straight-up so taken aback by the horrors of the original post that I can't figure out what to tag it with. If you want to add a content warning, go ahead - but if you're an ass about slur reclamation I won't hesitate to block you.
I will also do my best to add tags to indicate adult content; however, I am very likely to forget or be unsure what to add. I recognize that people below the age of 18 are fully capable of finding and enjoying the kind of content that sends conservatives and puritans into a moral panic and me telling them to stay away does nothing. As such, I'll be saying this instead.
I can't tell you what to do. Experiencing arousal/attraction/desire is perfectly reasonable, especially by the time you're legally old enough to be on tumblr. However, I will advise you to stay safe while online in any of these spaces. Don't start talking to folks in them, especially if they're adults.
I will also ask that you not talk to me on posts like that, for both your safety and mine. If you are a minor or do not specify that you're an adult and you start talking about this stuff with me, I will have to block you. Don't make me do that.

Look up what life-sustaining medication costs, look up what good manual¹ and any power wheelchairs cost, look up what corrective surgery and accessible vehicles and home meal delivery services and service dog training and special dietary restriction food costs. and look up how much money is available for people who can't work.
how many months of government support does it take to afford something like a power wheelchair if you're someone who needs one to get out of bed? how much expense is incurred while saving up for that, making sure you still get food, cleaning, other appointments while you're saving up? is it enough to pay rent? is it enough to still have nice meals, streaming subscriptions, a new video game? is it enough to help family or friends cover emergencies? are there resources available to help with dating, girl's nights, family events if you can't do it all yourself? how in demand are those services, how far in advance do they have to be reserved, how much do they cost?
I've had a few posts about disability get relatively well-shared at this point, and there's always an element of surprise in it - like, what do you mean there's subscriptions, what do you mean it's that expensive, isn't there something else? - and while I understand why, it would really mean a lot if people who don't know about this stuff took the initiative to find out just how bad some of this shit is on their own time

One of my methods is to get people to see themselves. Get people to see organizations for what they are. Get people to see leaders for the human people they are.
For far too long, people have downplayed their own abilities, given hero-worship to organizations, and treated leaders as gods
One of the reasons I push back on people putting me up on some pedestal is because I know I am a leader.
I'm not currently the leader OF anything other than my own household. But that's going to change, hopefully in very short order.
When it does, the last thing in the world is for my organization to receive hero worship or for me to be treated as some sort of God.
All I will have done is replace other organizations and leaders with me. And that's what dictators do.
And I Fucking HATE dictators.
I am a person
Any organization I lead is a group doing a job. No matter how good we do or how important our work is, we will just be a group of people doing a job
And even if we take down billionaires on the regular, all we did is make regular people stop doing harm. They were not giants and I am no giant slayer. What I am is a person showing another person a better path and helping them get onto that path.
I don't need hero worship. I don't need worship at all.
That being said, a lot of the people I will take on absolutely do like to be worshipped and treated like gods and one of the best ways to take a human like this down is to ensure that they know that you know how fragile they are.
I *may* insist that THEY drop to their knees for me.
I may show a side of myself that's more dominant and assertive than any of you have seen
But make no mistake
In that moment; I am a person, talking to another person, in the way that I know they need to be talked to in order to get them off whatever pedestal or high horse they've put themselves on.
I'm very good at what I do. I'm good at everything, because I've had lots of time to study and practice. Do not worship me, go get practice of your own and you will be good at everything too. It's not that hard and I'm not special. You are smarter and more capable and better than you think you are. Confidence is free and effort is worth what you have to put into it.
I say all this to say this:
I'm going to be hard at work once I finish my third book.
I need to be able to afford to live
I'm just a girl. Thanks to my decades of practice seeing the root cause of certain problems, I've been able to notice certain paths to make certain problems go away.
But in order to make that happen, I'm going to pretty much constantly need help. I can't do this by myself.
I thank all of you who believe in me. I know some of this is vague, but I don't have a clear path in front of me. There are several valid and important paths for me to choose from; and no matter what, I need to choose for myself.
Thank you all for being here for me, I appreciate you. Please keep spreading this far and wide, and please donate if you can. If not for my survival, then for the fact that the people I have to fight have deep pockets, and my pockets need to get a bit deeper too
