I met Trixie and Katya last night.
I was among the last ones for the meet and greet and gave them things to sign (CD and a poster).
Trixie: you brought this from home? That’s crazy Me: Yep, traveled from Bosnia with me Katya: Bo—- Bosnia??? They literally stared at me for 10 seconds and then asked so many questions, about pride (when I told them we had our first in Sept), and Katya naturally knew names of some of our presidents because she educated. I think it lasted for 5 minutes. Idk. I might have spaced out, but no one was rushing us, and then I told Trixie: I know you don’t like hugs so… fistbump? She did it and was like: Next time you have pride, call it the wizard of BOZ - I laughed, and Katya was still talking about the Balkans on my other side. And then she’s like: I want a fistbump too! And I put my fist up, and she took my whole hand and then we hugged. And someone from Fife House actually pulled up my phone I’d previously given them (AGAIN) and filmed the hug. So I have that to keep now.
Since Katya’s poster was signed by her already (bought from the website), she wrote my name and “I love you” in Russian so I am still crying over it. Let’s do it again. Soon. Please.
