Why I think Sid is the father:

- In the pilot it’s Sid and Sophie who switch phones

- Sid also walked the Brooklyn bridge with Sophie

-THE hallway scene

- Sid gets the most flashbacks out of any character, meaning his backstory is important and they want you to know more of him and who he is.

- His relationship with Hannah shows him as a partner but they don’t give Hannah much story or depth which makes me think the character is only temporary or they’re just not doing a good job of getting people to warm up to her and get to know her.

- Sophie remembering he always wanted to do the electric slide to cheer him up

- Future Sophie tells her son his father had a soft spot for Valentine’s Day before they got together and Sid was shouting his love for Valentine’s Day this episode

-I think SophieXJessie is way too predictable at this point and they’re gonna give Sophie and Sid crumbs for a bit. But, like the hallway scene, I think they’re significant.
