Major life update, Yay!
So, it’s been a minute! And since Rox keeps putting this off, Oreo boi’s gonna do it!
First off, Roxy actually isn’t a huge fan of being called Reid anymore. They still like the name, but it just doesn’t feel like them as of late.
Second off, you might notice that I’m referring to Rox as a separate person, and that’s because, recently thanks to lovely friends from the officalverse and specifically @kola-without-the-coke (sorry for the tag) Rox finally realized they are a System! Ranboo is the one posting this cause I Can’t flippen sleep.
We’re hopefully gonna do an overhaul of the intro post soon, but other than that, actually not a ton! Rox also wants to have alters (that want too) make intro posts!
So yeah! Not a ton, but I just wanted to get this out there, but with this comes one big new boundary,
No Syscourse.
Absolutely no syscourse. No one in our system is comfortable with it, thank you, and friendly reminder, all of us know how to use a block button :)
[redstone time!]
[which should not be as terrifying as it is. Even looking at the dust just gives him bad memories, grian’s laugh ringing in his ears as his hands twitch and screams replay in his head]
[that was on the impossible Minecraft server though! This is hermitcraft, he’s safe here]
[plus, it’s not like he’ll get any better by avoiding it. And he has to get better at it, if he wants impulse to finally be proud of it. He has to be good, perfect even. He wants him to be proud]
[he sucks in a breath, taking a few steps closer to his chests, opening the one specifically for redstone- and immediately closing it. He can’t do this. His hands are shaking like crazy, and that laugh is still playing in his head, that crazy laugh that he usually loves but not now, not with this, not at that time]
[he hopped over, head tilted as he watched. What was Skizz doing? And did it involve berries?]
[no way to find out except get closer. So he did.]
[he looks up as the bird walks over, hearing the tiny footsteps of the hops. He smiles, unable to stop himself from shaking]
.. you’re the crow who liked berries. I remember you
[he’s doing his best to put on a show, like nothing is wrong, even though there’s nobody around to see him do it]
[he trilled, poking Skizz’s knee with a tilted head. He couldn’t tell if skizz was okay. He was shaking, and looked scared.]

[this pyramid was interesting. But more specifically, the berries. But how to get past the water. He couldn’t swim. There wasn’t other entrances he could find, but he was bound and determined to get those sweet berries.]
- @pesky-red-crow
[he had been outside his pyramid, trying to organize the chest he had outside. he had gotten distracted at some point, trying to complete a rubix cube he had left here forgotten a long time ago-]
[he notices the crow flying around the entrance, watching it for a few seconds. He walks over to where it was, crouching near the crow]
Difficult entrance, huh?
[he caw, pecking at the entrance. Then his foot. New person. Good person? Yes. He seemed good. Ooh, Rubik’s cube. He pecked at that next, trying to twist the side.]
[he moves the rubix cube away from the crow]
No no- my cube. Get your own. I’ve spent too long working on this to give it to a crow
[he cawed, pecking at Skizz’s hand. It was an obvious turn, everything fell into place after!]
[he grumbles but lets the crow do what he wants, pouting that the crow is taking over his rubix cube work but deciding he doesn’t want to fight a bird]
[he turned it, then grabbing it in his talon to put in Skizz’s hand before sitting on his head. Hoping the silly man would figure it out.]
[he stares down at the rubix cube, noting what red was done. He twists the sides a few more times, and grins as the sides all come out neat]
Oh heck yeah-
[he pecked his forehead as if saying ‘your welcome’. Now back to trying to get the sweetberries. He knew he could.]
[he tucks the cube in his pocket, watching the bird investigate the entrance again]
What are you looking for little buddy?
[he pointed at the unsprouted bush, presumably placed by accident, then pecked at the entrance again. Walking in a little, before meeting the ever challenging water, once more.]
You want berries..?
[he hums, then picks up the bird. His own wings flap, bringing them to the third floor of the pyramid. There’s some berries in there, with the fox]
[he waited to be set down, before pecking at the bush, avoiding the thorns and getting berries. He put a couple in front of the Fox, before going to eat his own.]

[the mending book is gone. And the crow is holding it in his talons, clearly not giving it back till he had his ribbon back.]
@pesky-red-crow
[ not his mending book! pesky bird probably doesn’t even know how much time he spent trying to get that thing! he can’t even joke about getting rid of it without feeling sick. ]
i’ll put the string down here. [ he demonstrates by bending down, placing the ribbon between his feet. ] you leave the book there. then we switch places. alright?
[he sets the book down, before hopping over to get the string, Glaring at Grian the entire time.]
{Twhnn's curled up in a speckled ball at the base of some tree. Quiet and unmoving, they though this was the worst day they'd had in awhile. That they could remember, at least. Nothing seemed to be working properly. Their mind felt little more than a fuzzy haze of cotton, their vision blurry, their form falling apart at the seams.}
{They managed to notice the small crow looking at them, at least, finding it a bit curious.}
hullo there.
@twhnns-mailbox
[he lands on Their shoulder, looking at him. He was a very large crow, closer to the size of a small falcon rather than large crow. Yet he was light. He mimicked how redacted says hello.]
{They carefully reach out a hand toward him, uncertain of how he'll respond.}
[he pecks gently at their hand, cawing at them. It seemed he trusted them, probably since they smelled like redacted.]
you seem nice. d'you got a name?
[he points at the red ribbon on his leg.]
well, that's adorable. red, then?
[he nods, poking their cheek.]
{They laugh a little and carefully run a glitchy hand down his back.}
oh, i swore that i knew somebody with a crow... do you belong to anybody?
[he nods again, saying redacted. He was the crow Redacted was missing.]
sorry, who? i dunno if i know anyone named 'redacted'.
[They let their hand drop to the grass and lean against the tree drunk.}
well, i probably do. just forgot, maybe. sounds familiar, anyway.
[he tilts his head, before hopping down, making an ‘M’ out of sticks.]
{They cock their head and study it for a moment.}
...huh. does that stand for something,?
[he glares at them before making two ‘O’s, hoping they’d get it.]
jeez, sorry, i dunno!
{They look at it inquisitively for a bit longer, trying to figure out what on earth he means.}
OH, moose, right? i know somebody named moose...
{They grimace and hold their head, blinking blearily at the crow.} oh, hulloooooo.
[he tilts his head again. Were they okay? It was like they hadn’t talked to him at all.]
{They reach out a hand tentatively.}
you seem nice.
[he caws again, trying to figure out what was happening to them.]
man, why is everything so fuzzy today... {They sit back and idly look at the sky.}
[that’s it. He went to get Redacted. Surely he’d have a clue.]
