Apple and Orion by Peter Harris Via Flickr: Quick backyard photo of Orion over the Garden. Second night of messing around with the stars. This seemed to be the best aperture/shutter speed for me to avoid blur. Limited on where a can shoot in a couple of square metres I'm pretty happy with the composition. I like the tress grounding the picture although I might with commit to having rooftops or removing them entirely. The rigid apple stayed still in the wind but the fir and ornamental grass next door adds too much blur into the frame. The light difference across the picture is due to a full moon and I think I'll try and take this shot again as the phase changes. Also got a little bit of glow from a house light, but that's just backgarden shoots I guess.
