you have to be incredibly naive to not believe it. everybody who’s been in the fandom for more than a year knows that there’s a whole system of picking out girls for till (and apparently for richard as well, idk, i was only obsessed with till) and getting them to afterparties. the only thing you need to do is be a hot young (in some cases very fucking young) female. that’s all there is and the talk about how “they sometimes also invite men” is ridiculous because men are never invited to row 0 for one specific purpose, they are there as friends of the band, not as sex objects. the fact that the fandom just accepted that a bunch of (often barely legal) girls are being picked out for every concert just to sexually satisfy their idol which they adore and would do anything for (that’s literally grooming btw, it’s not the case of “oh they wanted it” if they’re literally obsessed with a stranger 40 years older than them) is kind of fucked up if i’m being honest. i was the most hyped about rammstein when i was 17/20 and only now i’m seeing how destructive all of that was. defending someone who absolutely does not deserve it and being affirmed by members of the fandom who are way older that it’s all fine is not normal. i’m only writing this post to try to speak sense into some people here: stop acting like you know them, stop defending them because you’re a fan, stop being delusional and putting impressionable girls in danger because you can’t accept the fact that a 60 year old man in power is a fucking pervert and a sex pest.

Did you really think anything would come out of this? You don't need to study law to know that it is hardly possible to proof anything in these cases, some really long ago. It is not even that any of the victims sued him. I wonder if you even understand what actually was/is going on.

This all is not about Till being some evil criminal who will definitely go into prison. If you think that it is absolutely fine that a 47 year old man had a sexual relationship with a 15 year old, basically a child, you can't be helped. It is not against the laws, no, because there were 'real feelings of love'. Basically none of the things Till did or does are really against the law, more like in a grey zone. The whole row zero system, the pressure the (young) girls were put into because they thought they could join a backstage party with all members, all the girls waking up next to members and not remembering anything.

I simply think that he is a massive asshole, he does certainly not respect women the way I thought for a long time or the fandom portrays. He is abusing his power as a man, as someone who is famous and idolized by many people and it's no problem because he is a 'rockstar'. I love Rammstein's music and I want to believe them, but I don't put strangers over my moral beliefs. Most people in the fandom seem to lack even critical thinking, because, no way that our teddybear and his family - who act as one right know but clearly said they are very distant to him by now - could do anything wrong!

Same anon for the 2016 thing. Thanks for sharing the link. Holy shit. Not sure I'm surprised, unfortunately, but it does add to the 2023 issue in a very uncomfortable way. Despite some questionable things in the new reports against Till, this one is, given the 7 year distance, a heavy nail to the coffin. I'm so disappointed with all of this, with Till... And I was never one to idolize them or anything like that. I'm just a fan of the band and of their music, and I liked his demeanor... but this... I feel a certain loss, that's for sure.

They used to be my favorite band and this whole scandal broke down when i wasn't really into them anymore but i still loved their music. Now I just have 0 desire to listen to them and it's a shame. I feel like they shaped me, in a way. And some of my alltime favorite songs are from their albums. Maybe I will feel detatched enough to listen to them again but that won't happen anytime soon.

At first I didn't believe it. I guess part of me still doesn't want to believe it. But it's becoming too hard to ignore and it breaks my heart. I understand how you feel. I would be absolutely heartbroken if it happened 3/4 years ago. But the truth is- no matter how many of those stories are fake, there still has been shit happening in plain sight.
