Outer panels applied with decals also used. Custom paint of the eagle done with Gouache paint. I seal with a top coat. No panel lining is applied, it throws off the scale for me. All complete~

Pic 1, 2 - Hitting with paint on the edges to gradate the paint. remove tape after drying process.

Pic 3, 4  - Priming and painting other armor parts, in color coordinated selections.

Pics 5, 6 - All the pieces have been painted and laid out according to grouped parts. Smaller parts are tended to in the box so they dont get lost.

Pics 7, 8, 9 - Begin assembly

Pic 10 - once assembly of the inner frame is complete I hand paint smaller parts. Color callouts.

Pic 1 - After getting the model (I’m building the perfect grade GP01), I take out all the runners that have the pieces attached to them, I then bathe them in the kitchen sink with dishwasher soap to get off any grease. I then cut out all the pieces and pile them into color and also relating pieces. I use the box that it comes in and store them there. Keep in mind these are just the cut pieces and they have nubs on them.

Pic 2 and 3 - I start with an exacto knife to cut off excess plastic then use sand sticks to smooth out the surface.

Pic 4 - I start with the Inner frame and Metal components of the model, I Prime each piece on alligator clips let dry for 1 hour, then I spray on a gloss black coat so that the chrome paint with have high reflection. I use Alclad brand with an airbrush.

Pic 5 - I have all the inner parts painted and drying. I have separated all the panel and armor parts according to color groups which I have sanded and finished. Now to prime all those pieces.

Pic 6 - I have primed all the pieces and now start to preshade with a darker value, I use a Nato Black, hitting the outer edges to give a weathered look.

Pic 7 - I now use the color I want the armor to finish on, By starting in the center I airbrush out leaving the edges shaded with the darker value underneath.

Pic 8 - All painted for the white armor.

Pic 9 - Masking the white armor after drying over night, then paint with any color to hit graphic elements.

My first G-system resin kit....and my last for the moment. Resin kits are quite the pain to assemble. Next up a perfect grade GP01!

Master Grade RX-78-2 3.0 This one was a fun build, as I tried to do a WW2 themed paint job. Based on the P51 Mustang as a part of the 353rd fighter group. I got decals of the fighter plane, and researched the paints based off the old photos. I would still like to do a Nazi Zaku....

HG Kampfer, just a quick build to test out transparent paints for my airbrush. Tried to get a nice gloss with the hot violet.

My first High Grade kit, but def not a normal HG one. I love this Mech design of Kshatriya, def one of the most unique. Also I continued painting on armor parts of animals that the mech design inspires me of.

Nu-Gundam Ver Ka, Also on par as the best model next to Sazabi Ver Kai. Still my fave in terms of the overall finish.

EX-S Gundam, the hardest build to date. A ridiculous amount of pieces. A brick build with not much articulation. First time I also custom painted a piece on the armor panel using gouache.

I'm having my first piece of Blacksmith art available as a print through my society 6 page. I plan to make a large sketch book for print by next year which will include all of the sketches I have been doing overall in HQ.
