What song are you listening to right now?
bad girl good girl miss A
What's your ideal date?
Watch a museum or movie, go out for dinner, watch the nightsky from the top of my building.
Are you a romantic?
I can be, I'm not often since I don't have a significant other.
Do you believe in true love?
:/ Do i look like snow white to you?
Do you believe in soulmates?
no. i believe in the opportunity to meet someone that treats you equally as you treat them in a romantic setting.
Is there anyone you would die for?
No, i love my family, but i'm not risking my life if they do stupid things.
Peter Vanderbilt sighed as he adjusted his tie in the mirror, the frustration simmering just beneath his polished exterior. The gallery had been buzzing with activity- art shows, meeting with clients, and endless hours of networking. But beneath the surface of his carefully curated life, an emptiness gnawed at him.
it had been months (perhaps even years) since heād been with anyone. His bed felt colder each night, a constant reminded of the disconnect between who he was and who his parents expected him to be. Who he had to pretend to be. His parents, high society fixtures, still had no idea about his true self. They saw the successful art dealer, the perfect son, but Peter had become an expert at hiding the loneliness that came with leading a double life.
Tonight, he couldnāt bear the silence of his own company any longer. He needed to get out, tofeel something other than the weight of his secret. A drink-or several- seemed like the best solution. Maybe the blur of alcohol would dull the ache for a while, help him forget the nagging frustration that had built up inside him.Ā
he found himself at a bar on the edge of town, far from the galleries and people who knew him. The dim lighting and pulsing music provided the anonymity he craved. Peter ordered a whiskey (his favorite drink), downing it quickly before signaling for another, searching for some kind of distraction inside the room.Ā
And then he saw them, someone sitting alone at the bar - looking just as lost as Peter felt. On impulse, Peter grabbed his drink and made his way over, nerves tingling with a mix of excitement and desperation.
āMind if I join you?ā Peter asked. Peter slid onto the stool next to them, feeling a rush of relief at the brief connection. He raised his glass, offering a toast. āTo drowning our sorrows together.ā But then his smile faltered. āSorry, I didnāt want to assume-ā He stated quickly. āYou just seemed a bit lost that's all.ā

"jesus, peter." she said stifling a laugh "c'mon drink up, it's good for you. think of it this way, you can get all of your five a day in one juice"
Peter did what she asked, pinching his nose to drink the green smoothie up in one go. After he made such a sour face he couldn't resist but mutter: "Yeah it cost five days of my life too."
"will you stop complaining about the drink? it's good for you. you need something to counter all that alcohol you've had in your system. you can't live a life of sin without a little green juice to keep you on the go"
@tfrstarters
"I'm just saying it's like someone put spinach in a blender, drank it, and you know-" his face turned green at the thought. "This taste like shit."
emmeline: WTFFFFFFFFFF!!!!
emmeline: get it, peter š„³š„³š„³š„³š„³š„³
emmeline: we need to celebrate š
Peter: Hell yes, I haven't been this happy since I got a pony for Christmas!
š³ a happy text. - peter x emmeline @former-fairestofthem-all
[Text]: I did it, i made a deal with Banksy to put 1 work of him in the museum.

"Oh New York... No one does parties quite like you do."
Normally Peter would not bother to go to parties such as this, honestly he didn't think he was going if it wasn't for his brothers and their constant nagging. After what felt like 40 text messages to get his ass over there (it were perhaps maybe 3 in total, dramatic much) Peter found his way to the party for Ceren, he should say hi to her and Logan when he overheard someone say something.
"Oh you must want to go to Brazil, I call that partying."

āI know, right!ā Emmeline huffed, throwing her hands out to emphasize the general outrage. Although, if she were to be very, very, very honest⦠Lately she had been acting more like Ella Fairchild than was healthy. Still, Peterās support was very much appreciated. An easy grin spread across her face as he caved (kinda). āOne drinkā I pinky swear.ā
Em looped her arm through his where they sat as she waved over to the bartender. She nodded sympathetically- āThe untold horrors of the elite, huh? Our parents can truly be the stuff of nightmares. I mean, forget the boogey man when youāre contending with going to Cotillion,ā she joked, making a face at the memory. āTell me how the galleryās been doing?ā
-
āHmHmm.ā Peter said, almost like a hum. He knew what it was like to not want to be like his parents. He was artistic, and it was thanks to his mother he could go for such a career - if his parents knew his biggest secret however he would definitely be disowned.
āSome champagne for me please.ā normally a drink associated with celebration, which aside of how good business went - he didnāt really have something to celebrate.
āWorks been good, Iāve got an Italian client last week who has some promising works.ā

Nate opened and then promptly closed his mouth again. He hadnāt thought this far ahead, you know? Sure, the idea of asking his oldest and clearly wisest cousin for advice about everything that had happened seemed good in the moment but now? Nate didnāt know what to say. He certainly couldnāt blab about the āGossip Girlā situation and bringing up his dad didnāt seem good either. āI⦠Have a friend. Um, I have a friend whoās in a weird⦠A complicated situation. Itās like-⦠Blackmail stuff, you know? And I was just wondering if you had any advice on how to, uh, deal with something like that?ā
-
āHmm?ā Peter frowned. Blackmail? That did sound a bit serious. What would he do about it though - He wasnāt sure. āWell I think it's important your friend has some support because carrying it alone would be hard.ā He stated. āAnd if anything Iād get the police involved - blackmail is still a crime so perhaps with a good attorney your friend can get himself out of that situation.ā Again he didnāt know the circumstances so he couldnāt say much about it.
notorious-nickā:
āIād be happy not to contest that so long as both can agree that itās also why Iām so much prettier than you,ā Nick grinned, delighted as ever to see his brotherās signature tiny glare. āPft! Well your favourite certainly canāt be Christopher, be reasonable. Ahā drinks first and then we can die from boredom. Whatās your poison today?ā
-
āTssst.ā Peter scoffed. His brother Nick could be such a pain sometimes. āAnd what if my favorite is Christopher? What are you going to do about it? Kiss my ass?ā He snickered. He thought for a moment.Ā āWhiskey on the rocks.ā Of course, he would go for a more mature drink, he was an adult after all.
notorious-nickā:
āPeter, Peter, Peter⦠I donāt know how many times I have to tell you that all work and no play makes Nicky a sad boy. Now get it together and come have a drink with your favourite brother,ā Nick replied, caring not for his big brotherās sighs of protests. āThatās the ābusinessā Iām talking about.ā
-
āI donāt need to play, this is why I make more money than you do.ā Peter said with a tiny glare. āWhatās the business you are talking about like if you waste my time iām out of here - Also you are not my favorite.ā
