We all agree Jabber would be possessive of Zanka, obsessed with him and what he can give to him and their dynamic.

But I think a lot of people fail to realize Zanka would be utterly insane and possessive of Jabber as well. Jabber needs to stay focused on him. Zanka has something to prove to Jabber. He has to be enough, prove he's enough. If Jabber loses interest, than he failed. He isn't enough, even for the only person that truly believed in his potential and pushed for it. If Jabber moves on from Zanka, he truly is a failure.

Zanka's/Jabber's heights

I think its kinda funny/tragic that Zanka's height is 5 ft 10 in. Because height is something that society drills into men's heads that they should be over-conscious of, kinda the same way it does with women for having a teeny tiny waist or big boobs. So you know he thinks about it, whether he thinks its vain and shallow and stupid to care about it or not. And he logically knows that he's not short- he's tall enough to not be seen as diminutive, and as someone who works on his physical strength so much, those two inches away from what people consider to be 'tall' on paper (being 6 feet on the dot) probably doesn't actually do anything for his effectiveness as a fighter. And 5 '10'' IS an above average height! The average height for a man is 5' 7'! Zanka's tall, and people probably perceive him as pretty tall!

BUT

He just so happens to meet someone who is just a little better than him. Who can beat him on all the things that he values himself for: Zanka has good reflexes and speed, but Jabber is just a little faster and can show off just how quick he is by ending a fight with just a lil scratch of poison.

Zanka is clever and analytical in a fight, but his vital instrument is just a really cool stick. Jabber's VI requires him to understand poisons and their effects on himself and other people down to a minute, and swaps between what his right and left claws do, and I think Mankira changes what it does when it goes into the bigger form?? (idk man I glossed over understanding what the hell his right and left claws do lmao good luck Zanka).

And something about Zanka being born early in the year (Feb 3rd) and Jabber being born just a little earlier (Jan 11th) is related here lmao.

AND. Jabber just so happens to be exactly 6 feet tall. The gold standard of 'tall man'. Urana really said hmmm who would REALLY send Zanka spiralling?? Who would be THE human emodiment of Zanka's last fuckin straw??? Then beautiful Jabber was born :)))

Enjin x Gris shippers?

I ask this with a pure heart and an honest soul- ships are fun and games to me! But I was curious about engris (or, Engine Grease as I've seen it called, lol) beause when I finished reading/watching, I hadn't clocked them as a ship at all, but saw that it was a pretty popular ship.

I'm wondering if there was anything in particular from the series that inspired the ship, if I missed something? Or is it just two hot men with opposite personalities who should kiss? Both valid, I enjoy this ship too :) On my rewatch I'm noticing more how sweet Gris is about Rudo, so it does kinda seem like a co-parent sitch lol.
