Awful Maeve Curry™ has been sitting on this for a week since it was brought to her attention, considering whether to address it or ignore it, and has decided she would simply like to say that whether you approve of their content, behavior, etc. taking pleasure in someone losing years worth of material that they’ve carefully curated for their own enjoyment and the enjoyment of others doesn’t exactly give YOU the moral high ground. Seriously. I’ve seen users that I’ve blocked be terminated and guess what? I think it’s super shitty it happened to them without any notice or opportunity to rectify the situation. Everyone’s blog is a collective history across their personal spectrum that cannot be recovered. It’s a loss. Sometimes a very significant one to an individual and/or group. I just…I don’t know what to say to someone who makes light of such a thing, really. I’m honestly at a loss for words here.

Let's address your comments on your reblog of my post. You know nothing about me, nor did you take the time to peruse my blogs before you responded. I've been in this fandom for ten years, and I've seen some shit. It's the folks in the DrWhosblogisfilledwithhate sphere who are truly delusional. One of them publicly embarrassed Tom in front of an audience and his peers during Night Manager promo. That same person also took photos of Tom's car from outside the gate of his neighborhood and said she felt like a creeper, booked an Airbnb that 'just happened' to belong to a photographer who worked with Tom on a shoot for a magazine, pushed and shoved people out of the stage door line during the Betrayal line to get yet another photo with Tom, and published her block list, which included women of color, then likened their negative comments about Hiddleswift to conspiracy theories and called them neo-nazis.
Another was a Swiftie who became a Hiddleswift shipper and refused to accept that they had broken up until Joe Alywn entered the picture, at which point she was so angry she created a hate blog for him and finally dumped Taylor to move on to Tom and then, Zawe.
I personally don't think everything is PR, and I have no issue with those who think it is, because none of us know the actual truth. It's all speculation, and only Tom knows the truth. What I do have an issue with is fandom policing, which is what you attempted to do when you created your 'Grow the F Up' post and told Zero to 'leave that man alone'. Any of us on this site can post whatever we want as long as it complies with Tumblr guidelines. If you don't like it, you don't have to read it. If you choose to read it and it makes you mad, that's on you and if you want to post on your own blog to bitch about it, have at it. When you @ people, that's when it becomes a fucking problem and I love, love, LOVE busting the balls of people who do it.
Now, let's talk about what's REALLY embarrassing. So embarrassing that I hope you have your clown shoes at the ready. It's your fucking AGEISM. IT. IS. APPALLING. What do you think happens to women when they get older? They aren't people anymore, with interests and hobbies and LIVES? Do you think there's a moment in time when a buzzer goes off and BOOM, it's time to stop enjoying things and be serious always and forever? Spoiler alert...there isn't. Even when you have a job, find a partner, start a family...you're still the same person you've always been, just with more responsibilities, which means you need enrichment in your enclosure more than ever before. I’m going to do this only post because some people forget that behind a blog there is a real person. When I started loving sylki I never thought it would be as amazing as it is exhausting.
Since the beginning I’ve stayed in my corner, sharing and creating on them. Although I’ve had some tough messages in the months since I started this ship, I’ve managed to get through them. I’ve always tried never to fall into their traps. I’ve always tried to stay positive, to give only good vibes in my blog, in my server. I saved that.
And yesterday these messages about me on twitter was the situation too far.
Going to my blog to share screenshots and vomit over my posts on a ship is pathetic. You’re hurting yourself, how sad. To go and write false accusations about me when I’ve never spoken to this “@Lotusispissed13″ of my life. And to make me look like a “racist terf” and a bad person, that’s serious.
I don’t have to justify myself. People who follow me and share with me know very well that it’s not true. Nice try. What’s sad is that they need to go so far without ever realizing things. I feel more sorry for them in the end. I know they are trying to bring me down, but you won’t succeed. Your plan failed. I hope that’s clear to you all. And I reported these tweets as targeted harassment. I can’t leave it at that. No need to come anonymously in my messages, you will be directly reported and blocked.
Why is it so hard to leave alone people who love something? Leave me in peace. I’ll never understand those *people who go to places of someone who loves a ship to harass her or to destroy a server. Stalking is a worrying behavior. Now we have proof of what kind of person this is. I strongly advise you to block this tumblr.
Normal people don’t have an account to spend two years talking about something that disgusts you. It’s worrying, really. They could so much take that time to share useful things.
I made the mistake of wanting to discover beyond my area for months, and what I saw or read made me completely tired. Endless, pointless fights. Toxic people, in both directions. Serious and very worrying situations for a ship. It didn’t matter if I didn’t fight, seeing all that only brought me negativity. And it only made me feel worse and worse, I let the toxicity mix with what I love about this ship and it finally got me.
Loki season 2 is a few months away, and I’ll be going back into my bubble more and not going to see or read anything. For my own sanity, it’s better. I will do my best to create on this ship and look forward to new content on the incredible character.
And anyone who wants to share about sylki only because they love this ship is welcome on my sylki server.

This fandom is no fun when Tom starts dating someone. Both sides of the fandom become so toxic.
Fandom fun is directly proportionate to how you curate your dash and whether or not you seek out drama, honestly. Personally, I enjoy a good hate read, but I don't usually comment unless I am or one of my mutuals is mentioned in the conversation.
The issue isn't him having partner, it's how invested people become in said partner and the relationship overall.
Like, I love Tom, I think he's hot as fuck, I like Zawe, think they're a great couple, and good on them for finding happiness. I don't, however, have any interest whatsoever in their relationship. I don't need to know if they're planning a wedding, what they're naming their children, where their country house is, and so forth. I never pause to imagine what their life together is like...what they're having for dinner, how the baby's room is decorated, what they're doing for the holidays, yada yada yada.
And this is where the Fandom Problem begins.
I am physically and mentally attracted to public persona Tom, and some of the characters he portrays. It's a fantasy for me, purely fictional. A parasocial relationship that brings me joy, and I can recognize that it's not reality. The lines are never blurred for me. So I say things like 'oh my god I want to push him down and ride him like a pony' or 'will that chair hold our combined weight?' in reference to a FANTASY. Real Tom is someone I don't know and never will know, and, honestly, I don't WANT to know.
The folks who are incredibly over-invested in Tom's relationship aren't like that. They may have a fantasy, but it revolves around Real Tom and what Real Tom is actually doing, especially things that they aren't privy to. That fantasy may involve their imagining that they are Tom's actual partner, or simply be voyeuristic, a fly on the wall watching Tom interact with his partner and family. That's how their parasocial relationship works...they live vicariously through his actions. That's why they scour social media for likes and follows and pics, to find out MORE. Where it really goes wrong is the sexual fantasy component...it makes them terribly uncomfortable that we're out here talking about fucking him, because their focus is Real Actual Tom and he has a Real Actual Partner and HOW DARE WE.
This divide will not be bridged, and things are never going to change, because the parasocial relationship constructs of these groups are diametrically opposed.
The Real Tom folks feel a compulsion to defend and protect him at every turn even though they regularly attempt to invade his privacy, seethe over even the slightest negative comment, and send some massively fucked up anon hate to people who post such content or 'objectify' Tom. Surely, he appreciates that, right? :P
If you're a Fantasy Tom person, you don't give a fuck about any of that because this isn't REAL for you. It's a FANTASY. You're here to bathe in his hotness, expound how sexy intelligence and British accents are, and marvel in his talent. And you're having such a good time doing that and chilling with your mutuals on Tumblr that you don't even think about those folks, until someone sends you screenshots of them talking shit about you on their blog, and then you have a chuckle and gleefully point out their hypocrisy.
The word 'toxic' is overused and played out. What we have here is a disparity in the level of Celebrity Worship Syndrome, you can go ahead and guess which side my petty ass thinks should read Misery again and perhaps re-evaluate their behavior.

They're blaming 'the haters' for Zawe no longer being able to share fun, cute, personal things on the Internets and ruining any sense of 'normalcy' she had left. As in, she chose to leave the account public. They believe that she was allowing those who cared to find it access to 12 years of playlists that referenced locations, events, prior and upcoming roles, her child's name, and items Tom selected and shared to it. That they were fans, and special, and she welcomed their gaze upon her collection and ruminations on its content.
Are you fucking kidding me with this? Tell me you're joking. Two people who locked down all their social media accounts, removed personal content, and now only post work or activist related content left this account wide open ON PURPOSE? FUCK NO THEY DIDN'T.
To make it extra fun, they admitted they'd known about the account since 2020 and said they tried to keep it on the DL so 'the haters' wouldn't find out about it because they were concerned for Zawe's privacy. Really? You've been stalking this account FOR THREE YEARS and did things like posting sunglasses emojis to help your followers guess a baby's name but you're concerned for her privacy? NO YOU ARE FUCKING NOT.
