Um, is my brain warped or is this related to what I think its related to?
I have been through the comments and there didn't seem to be any consensus of understanding there. Obviously, I'm open to any normal explanation, but for now I'm happily confused.
People need to learn to start tagging their hate posts with 'anti *insert bullshit*'
Sick of scrolling through tags of things I enjoy and reading people's bullshit takes. I don't care about your opinion. I'd go scrolling through the anti tag if I did.
This goes for all fandoms, but I'm currently referring to #foah and #conformitygate.

Read my post again, step outside of yourself for maybe like 2 seconds, and then maybe think about how this might not be a personal attack and maybe just a call out for people to use tumblrs tagging function in future so that some of us can just enjoy our limited free time in life.

I forgot to add also, there is a blocking feature for certain tags you don't like or don't want to interact with. I have set up mine, so unless you like just being trigger-happy douchebags, I highly recommend this feature. (:
Mike having a novel dedicated to Will and Will says, "This is amazing! Did you write this?" And Mike responds with, "Yeah, well... Carlton commissioned it. He basically told me what to write."
I 1000% think they changed up the volume 2 and 3 scripts last minute. None of it makes any sense with the rest of the seasons. All that building up to absolutely nothing? Makes no sense. I'd love to know what happened to cause such a drastic change. Volume 1 was incredible, then volume 2 and 3 felt like they picked the scripts from a random plot generator.
An appreciation post for the complex female characters of Hawkins.
Jane Hopper - She can still smile despite all the death and violence she's seen. She still chooses love and light even though darkness is all she has known. She spent her childhood being beaten down and silenced and yet she is able to speak up and fight against those who do wrong. She doesn't let people walk over her.
Max Mayfield - Despite her dwindling will to live, she continues to cling onto life by her fingernails. One of the most resilient girls in the show. Despite all she's lost she is so protective of Holly because she wants to protect her from the misery that she has suffered. She started out being seen as an unwanted replacement for El but she taught people that every girl has a complex inner life that makes them a valued part of the world, and not just a placeholder.
Joyce Byers - Joyce is one of the most loyal, kind and determined women in the show. She never gives up on those she loves and will fight tooth and nail even when there is no hope left. She knows how people see her, she knows they think she's crazy but she doesn't care. She's not afraid to speak above men and carve space for herself in the world. She is not intimidated by male tantrums and treats them as childish AS SHE SHOULD.
Nancy Wheeler - She's a girly girl who reveals that there is strength and leadership in girlhood. She can wear dresses and still shoot a gun better than you. She is a natural leader, intelligent and smart. She does not discard her feminity for any of these traits, and continues to be emotional, sensitive and kind. She shows that women do not have to be more masculine to be leaders.
Robin Buckley - She is intelligent academically because she cracked a Russian code by herself. She is also socially and emotionally intelligent. Women are stereotyped as yappers and Robin fits this stereotype, but she proves yapping is not a bad thing. She has consistently saved the day with her constant talking and racing thoughts. Alongside this, she has noticed and comforted many characters in the show portraying how observant she is.
Karen Wheeler - She is a woman who has fallen into the American Dream trap. Husband and children with a white picket fence. Yet, she's lonely because her husband is apathetic and her children are so involved in their own issues, they don't talk to her. She wants to be close to them but they pull away like teenagers do. Yet they come to her when they really need a rock to lean on and she will defend them to the death if they are in trouble. She's a stay at home mum and she's tough as nails.
Erica Sinclair - The only people who match her knowledge and passion for DnD are Mike Wheeler and Eddie Munson. She is intelligent and does not shrink herself to appeal to the male ego. She is tenacious and ruthless, yet still sensitive when needed. Without Erica, many of the party's plans would have failed because she is able to resolve any issues that occur.
Holly Wheeler - Max said it all. Holly is heroic. She leads the hopeless down a new path that they might not have seen before and she is a natural born leader like her siblings. She is smart and full of wit. She gets scared but she faces her fears anyway, and she doesn't cower at the bullying of Derek. She takes stress and pressure in stride.
Kali Prasad - She has experienced so much hardship. After escaping Hawkins Lab, she found her way in a world she was unaccustomed to. She has lost all her friends and she was captured and harvested for her blood. Yet, she continues to be altruistic and think about others. She wants to end the cycle of suffering her and El have experienced. She doesn't want anyone else to be tortured the way she has. When she met El, she wanted to help and look after her almost immediately.
Suzie Bingham - She has grown up in a chaotic Mormon household which values traditional feminity but she still pursues computer science. She knew what an IP was before any of her male counterparts did and she indirectly saved the day twice with her knowledge. Yet, she holds onto her whimsy as seen when she sings the Never Ending Story. Despite the lack of attention from parents, she has high self-confidence and belief in herself.
Vickie Dunne - We haven't seen her much but so far she has shown a strong mental fortitude. She saw a demodog and didn't have a mental breakdown. When Robin asked her where the closest exit was, she snapped out of her disbelief straight away. She almost died but is still able to provide comfort and care to Max and Karen. She apologised straight away to Robin. She is kind, humble and strong-minded. Also she is bisexual representation <3
Chrissy Cunningham - Portrayed as a stereotypical cheerleader, we soon realise that she is so much more complex. She is haunted but even in her darkest moments she is able to make Eddie Munson laugh and feel respected. She was hallucinating and tried to solve it herself. She wasn't afraid to approach Eddie which makes her seem open-minded and kind.
Terry Ives - She never gave up on her daughter. Even though everyone told her that Jane was dead, she never gave up. Just like Joyce she was determined to find her daughter, to the point that she fought her way through the lab with a gun. She was electrocuted so much that she became disabled but she continued to hold on even then. She held onto those words because she still believed she would see her daughter again one day. Despite her injuries she still aided Jane in her journey.
Becky Ives - She is kind and caring. She raised Terry after their parents died and supported her financially through college. Then when Terry became disabled, Becky continued to be her caregiver. She continued to extend her selflessness when El showed up. Becky was willing to raise Jane alongside being the caregiver of Terry. She was misguided when she reported Jane but she meant well.
Barbara Holland - She was outspoken and willing to call out Nancy in front of the popular kids, in order to protect her best friend. Even though Nancy told her to go home, Barb stayed behind at the pool because she didn't want to leave without Nancy. She wanted to make sure she was okay. She was selfless and kind, but tenacious when she had to fight back against the demogorgan. She didn't give up, she kept fighting until the end.
Dr. Kay - Yeah we hate her but it can't be denied that she is strong. She is ruthless and determined, stopping at nothing to get what she wants. She has managed the military so well that they continue to be a thorn in Eleven's side.
