we know it's been a little while,
but this year was full of a lot of huge changes, we learned a great deal of very necessary lessons and are left with a renewed sense of gratitude for all of the support and understanding as we fumbled through the darkness, stubbing our toes on every obstacle. We've been called a lot of things, gracious was never one of them.
Regardless, we are definitely ready to get back out there and show the community what we've learned from them.
But first, we would like to catch everyone up.

“HOME OF THE CAGED” FUNDRAISER / comp
Through the Sale of our fundraiser/compilation, “HOME OF THE CAGED,”
we raised over $250 For FAMILIES BELONG TOGETHER
To commemorate that bizarre, heavy, and rather beautiful final month of PG on Franklin, which – unbelievably – was a year ago, now, we are giving away the compilation for free until January 9th, the last day anyone stepped foot into PG on Franklin.
if you listened/downloaded when it first was released on bandcamp.com, two months ago, it has since been entirely remastered, and edited for cd. so we suggest giving it a new listen, we think it's a much more cohesive work now.

you can still purchase the Limited Edition CD - there are only a few left unaccounted for out of the 30 being manufactured. Also, feel free to donate via the digital “purchase” option on bandcamp. Otherwise, enjoy it for free as a thanks for all of your continued support.
Special thanks to our Patreon supporters who have been a crystal clear stream in a vast dessert
*FAMILIES BELONG TOGETHER
all proceeds are donated to FBT, who is a coalition of nearly 300 organizations from all walks of life and ends of the political spectrum, from the ACLU and MoveOn.org to MomsRising and The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights who have (in their own words) joined together to fight family separation and promote dignity, unity, and compassion for all children and families.”

Pionear Group will be devoting themselves to creative and collaborative action to help raise (truthful) awareness and facilitate the donation of resources in an effort to eleviate as much unnecessary suffering that is humanly possible in relation to actual tragic situations throughout our shared world.
While helping foster art with a purpose made by empowered and factually informed artists within our local and regional arts/music community.
In both of these aims, there is the spirit of collaboration/cooperation/communication and mutual aid. As technology, economic consolidation and environmental degradation have all aided in distancing and dividing people, these concepts of kindness and understanding might very well become the only ideas powerful enough to help heal us and keep us above water as sea levels quickly rise.
You can be part of a growing number of us committed to leading toward mutual aid instead of civil war, whether actual or metaphorical. All engagement helps; likes, shares, discussion, interviews and reviews, donations and feedback, suggestions and even progress-minded criticism are all super important.
* FOR THOSE THAT ORDERED CDs,
We apologize for the delay, but all the obstacles have been removed,
and the CD is on its way. We'll throw in some stickers and goodies for you, for your patience and understanding.
We really think people are going to be super excited about the things we have planned for 2020. From becoming a non-profit (501c3) to new projects, new opportunities for the local community, workshops and events. Plus we're starting up a email list, in an effort toward drawing power away from the social media dynamic. Forward us your email if you're interested in anything we talked about, including local arts, opportunities, and music/art related events at THE NARN and around town.
We're so glad to be among friends again.
Thanks, we love you. Thanks.
