They reached out, searching for something to hold on to
And they found each other
Hours pass while they sit

It feels like a lifetime has passed since he sat on the train, stomach done in knots
He watched England flash past his window and wondered

A pixilated screen, could not come close to this
The boys spent a week, wearing out their feet
And at the end of seven days
Under the bright lights and blue sheets of the corner bedroom

Train clicking impatiently
Big house, light and northern views
It was too early to put into words
Years stretch ahead of them
