Dan is so controlling and powerful in his videos, that sometimes you forget how awkward he actually is. After that prank call, it made me realize him always saying “Oh I’m awkward/No one likes me/ I’m so lame” is not something he does as a facade to connect with his audience, he actually believes in it.
