Hello, my friends. My name is Oddity. I am Something Else.

This will be my otherkin sideblog, for all things that make me feel connected to my identity as a fledgeling [redacted], a child of Everything and Nothing trying to make Our Worlds a better place in little ways. I am still not quite sure about the nature of my identity, as I feel human and [redacted] simultaneously, but I enter the otherkin community knowing that it is an accepting place where I can feel welcome.

In this Existence, I am 18 years of age, and prefer they/xe pronouns.

"being a human is so boring why can't I be one of the COOL animals" okay hey. I hear you. but I actually really super love being an omnivorous persistence hunting primate with a stomach capable of dissolving many literal poisons and the ability to smell geosmin (released in the soil after it rains) at five parts per trillion. I super enjoy being a bipedal terrifyingly agile mammal with some of the most efficient sweat glands in the animal kingdom. I find a lot of joy in being an endotherm with mimicry abilities that rival most other animals with vocal chords. it's sick as hell I'm having a lot of fun

me too!!! and I've known I was something else for a decade. spent a loooong time hating this body and despising being part of this species. a huge part of the creation of this post comes from YEARS of processing and understanding myself and realising that I can be something else AND enjoy being a human at the same time. it's okay if you don't experience the same joy I do at the thought of being human, but I promise you this post was made with nonhumanity in mind [: <3
