A girl opened her eyes to see herself in the middle of a street, her body passing through objects. She was confused at first but it devolved into shock when she realized she wasn't even alive anymore. She was a ghost. After floating around alone and confused, she crosses paths with a boy that can actually see and talk to her. Determined to find her memories, she accompanies the boy. But how can you find your memories when only a single person can see and speak to you? Aka The Narrator Chara theory from Undertale but in Persona 5 Run by @mushroomfusion245. Sorry we missed the anniversary, but here’s a little bonus fic for you guys!

Sorry for the lack of an anniversary fic this year, hope this new chapter makes it up to you!
The infiltration of Madarame’s palace continues, much to everyone’s dismay. Akira tries his best to utilize his numbers wisely, but fails to account for his team’s difference in experience… and stamina.

Finally got Chapter 24 done! And yeah I’m splitting this in two because it was getting too long.
It’s Yusuke’s first day on the job as a Phantom Thief, and while he struggles with fighting shadows and dealing with the trauma of his former caretaker is causing him, his colleagues are there to show him the ropes and make things a bit easier for him.

You know, an interesting tumblr transformation that's happened gradually, and which I've seen no one talk about: ask-culture has essentially dropped off to nothing.
By which I mean, asks used to be WAY more of the tumblr economy. They used to be more common to send, and receive, and see. They were integral to the collaborative, forum-like behavior of old tumblr communities, not even to speak on the HUGE number of ask-blogs that used to exist to only be interacted with in ask-form.
I'm not saying this in a vying-for-attention way but instead in an observational way: I used to get way way more asks in like 2015, even with a fraction of my follower count. I wonder if it's due to the homogenization of social media sites? There's a lot more of this divide between "content creator" and "consumer" instead of just a bunch of peer blogs who would talk to each other. "Asks" aren't really a thing on twitter, are they? And as I understand it, the closest thing to an "ask" on instagram or tiktok would be a creator screenshotting some comment and responding to it in a new reel or video or whatever those content mediums are. Are asks just too tumblr-specific? Is that aspect of the site culture dying out as more and more people converge to using all their social media sites in the same way?
it's probably from assholes making asks a minefield of trolling/harassment for years with no real blocking ability, which turned people off from allowing asks on their blogs so as a whole the site moved away from it
but now that we do have better blocking, we should try to revive it.
Oh yeah, and here’s a new side fic for you all to welcome our new co-writer!
Akira's path of rehabilitation is certainly a difficult one, especially with his task of helping his confidants. Sometimes it ends up being too much for him, luckily a certain Ghost Girl is there to help him get back in good condition.

With a new co-writer in tow, we got a new chapter up!
Finals grades are posted, and Akira celebrates with his therapist. Meanwhile, Sumire and Morgana figure out a way to communicate without the medium that is Akira... pun intended.

How many ghost puns have your fellow Phantom Thieves saddled you with (including Yusuke, if you wish)?
Sumire: Not much, really. It’s a bit of a sensitive topic to me, and Akira and Morgana respect that.
Akira: We haven’t gotten to know Yusuke that well yet, and thankfully he doesn’t know Sumire exists yet. But if he ever does, I’ll try my best to explain things to him.
I’m thinking of rebranding this blog into more of a general Persona 5 reblog account so that the the blog isn’t completely dead until the next chapter releases. Don’t worry, PM will still be the focus, but I’m hoping it’ll incentivize people to interact with the blog more. I might even do character asks if you guys are interested in that. Maybe I’ll even post some P5 fics outside of PM that I’ve worked on here on ocassion? Feel free to respond to me in any way on what you would like to see here. I’m willing to explore some options!
The Phantom Thieves execute a plan to manipulate, yet still assist Yusuke in order to further infiltrate Madarame's Palace. The risks take an abrupt and unexpected level-up, however, Ann needs to escape early. The Phantom Thieves will need to acquire the similarly bettered "rewards" with not only their lives intact but Yusuke's, too…

(Not a cancellation) Important Announcement Regarding Phantom Memories
Starting from now, I’m going to make the Undertale-inspired origins for Phantom Memories a bit more obvious through tags and the general fic summary. This is a big change, but hopefully it will help lessen the pressure on me to make the story more unique than it needs to be. Rest assured the plot will stay the same, but this is to help let people know what exactly it is I’m trying to write here.
Next chapter up. Going to be a while before the next one. Hopefully I can figure out what to do with this blog while the hiatus goes on.
Madarame’s Palace proves to be a rough challenge for the Phantom Thieves, with laser traps, funny passwords, and fake pits galore that Spirit might just need to solve in a way only she can do.

(Trying to add gifs to make these posts more appealing. Is it working?)
It’s hard to believe we’re at 20 chapters now, but here’s to more to come!
There are secrets Madarame is hiding that only Sumire is able to discover, both in and out of the Metaverse. Said secrets paint a dangerous picture regarding Yusuke's future, and the Phantom Thieves struggle to figure what they can do to save him.
