[She sighs, resting her head on his chest.]

[He ran his fingers through her dark locks before placing a gentle kiss upon her head.]

[She sighs, giving in and finally laying down next to him.]

[He scooted himself closer to her before laying back and sighing in relief. She felt warm, as usual.]

[She squeaks, quickly burying her face in her hands.]

[He chuckled before taking her hand and bringing it to his lips. He placed several kisses upon it before taking in a deep whiff of her scent.]

[She takes a seat on the edge of his bed]

[Dio turned on his side toward her.

[A devious smirk curled across his lips as he watched for her reaction.]

[Dio had left his shoes on. …Johanna carefully waddles over, slipping his shoes off of him and placing them outside of the door to be polished.]
Why do you still attend practice then, Dio?
Because your father insists I do, and the team depends on me. I'm one of their best players.
[A sigh escaped his lips as she removed his shoes for him. He fell back on his bed and sighed, brushing his golden locks away from his face.]
What did father have you do today, Jojo?
D…Dio! Welcome home d-dear! If you’re tired, we can r-retire now! I just…thought I would wait up for you…
Ah Jojo...I appreciate that. Let's go to my room.
[Dio took her hand and led her up to his quarters, stepping inside with her before plopping himself down on the mattress.]
Truthfully...I hate rugby.
I am utterly exhausted.
[Luckily, she manages to spot him.]

[Johanna says quietly, creeping over to him and taking a seat across his lap.]
…You look tired.
I am. I couldn't sleep.
Although at some point during the night my fangs disappeared. The hunger is gone. I haven't the slightest idea what happened but I'm cured.
[He reached an arm up to her neck to brush her hair away.]
How are your wounds?
I’m afraid losing a bit of blood was enough to make me sleep for quite a while…but I’m feeling much better.
[Dio doesn't notice her pass by as he sulks in his armchair.He couldn't get her out of his mind.]
…Die—
[She stirred, nearly falling as she crawled from the bed. Her fingers dug into his coat and she nearly knocked him down as she pounced on him. Johanna shook him, hoping to hold his attention.]
I’ll never let that happen! I’ll never let either of those things happen to you! I swear it! I’ll find some sort of solution!
[Dio fell back as she unexpectedly pinned him to the ground.]
Johanna...stop, you need to lay down. You'll faint...
[He reached his hand up and placed it on her cheek.]
You're always trying to find a solution. You always try to help people..that's going to get you into a lot of trouble one day. We'll figure it out just please...
[Dio sat up to place a gentle kiss upon her lips.]
Get back on the bed and rest.

[Johanna gently pulled her hand from his grip. …He felt cold…it was unsettling. As he buried his face into the sheets, Johanna gently placed her hands on the back of his head, trying to show a bit of affection without being too fool-hardy.]
…D…io…
[She whimpered, lightly shaking him.]
…We have to…figure out a solution…before anyone else is b…bitten…
[He lifted his head back up after a few moments of musing.]
There is no solution. The only solution is to die. If this is anything like the myths say then there's no salvation for me. Either I chose to embrace it and lose myself to the darkness or I spare you and find a way to end my life. I don't know how well I'll be able to control myself when the hunger arises again. Finding a way to make this work is out of the question. The only thing I need from you right now is forgiveness, so that I may die in peace.
[She nearly screamed as he picked her up. But Johanna felt so dizzy she didn’t dare open her mouth. As blood trickled from his lips, she felt her vision growing faint…until…bang. His fist hit the wall.]
…Stop it!
[Johanna cried, sitting up despite her weakness.]
…You’ll…hurt yourself…
[Dio looked back at her in surprise before pulling his fist away from the wall. He fell to his knees before her and took her hand, grasping it tightly inbetween his palms.]
Jojo...I'm so sorry...I don't know what's going on. I suddenly had this lust for blood and I've grown canines that are unnaturally long. I didn't do it to hurt you, I just couldn't help it.
[The frustrated vampire buried his face into the sheets of the bed in shame.]
[…Betrayal. That’s what it felt like as he bit into her neck. How could she have expected something like this from him…? She knew how to fight him…but she couldn’t even raise a finger…poor Johanna was in shock. …How could this have happened to Dio?]
[She began to sink to the floor, her wide doe eyes filling with tears as they reflected the flickering candlelight from Dio’s desk. …With a weak movement, she pushed her hands against Dio, trying to get herself away from him.]
Jojo...
[He could see the fear and shock in her eyes and it actually hurt him. His heart was slowly broken as she tried to push herself away from him. Still he insisted on picking her up and carrying her to his bed, brushing her hair away from her face.]
Jojo...forgive me, I...I don't know what came over me...the hunger was so strong...it made me act strangely...
[Dio gritted his teeth in frustration as a bit of blood spilled from the side of his mouth. The frustration he felt right now was stronger than he had ever felt before...stronger than when he began to develop feelings for the person he used to loathe the most. He genuinely cared about the way she she felt about him. He couldn't deny it. And now he had hurt her...
Dio suddenly stood up and released his tension by driving his fist into the wall. It was hard enough to make his knuckles bleed and dent the wooden foundation of the wall.]
….!!
[This…was it wasn’t it? He said he needed “it”. …Surely he meant her hand in marriage.]
Oh, Dio…!
[Johanna cheered, wrapping her arms tightly around his neck.]
I do, I do!
[She completely misunderstood. Dio couldn't restrain himself any longer. He hissed and bared his fangs before sinking them deep into her. As her warm blood touched his tongue he immediately began to lap up and suck it from her. It was ecstasy...indescribably euphoric. Her blood was sweet and delicious...pure enough to be considered a drug. His hand pulled at the back of her head as he fed from liberally. He had to force himself to stop before she would be too weakened to keep herself standing. Dio came to his sense and pulled away from her neck with an agonizing. groan.]
Ah...nnn...Johanna...
[He immediately covered her wound tearing off the sleeve of his shirt and wrapping it around her neck as a bandage.]
Shit...Jojo, are you all right...?
[…He locked it. He really locked it. Johanna whimpered in response. …She wondered if he had all intentions to ravage her anyway.]
…I…Impossible…I bathed thoroughly only a little while ago…I should smell of lavender now…
[With his lips on her neck, she yelped, trying to squirm out of his grip.]
Maybe the memory is that clear in mind...
[Dio's lips brushed against her tender neck...he could feel her pulse. He felt around her neck with his lips for a moment and slowly began to lose his composure. His fangs poked through his lips and forced his mouth ajar.]
J...Jojo...please...
[The hunger was clouding his consciousness. It was then that he began to panic. How could he enjoy the experience if he let himself lose consciousness? But the desire for her blood was too much...the smell was so strong...]
I...need it...
…[Johanna responded by squeezing his hand.]
…Alright…I think…I’d really like that.
[Dio quickly leads her up stairs to his room. Upon stepping inside he secretly turned the latch to the door, locking them inside. He turned back towards Jojo and took her hands.]
Johanna...
[He lifted her hand and began to nuzzle it affectionately. He took in a deep whiff of her scent before wrapping an arm around her waist.]
I can still smell the sweat on you...
[Dio suddenly kissed her cheek before brushing his lips down her ear and then her neck.]
…H…Huh—
[Johanna stiffened visibly. He was getting more bold. …If the plan was to court her in secret, he was doing a terrible job now. Johanna’s eyes wandered, praying they hadn’t been seen.]
D-Dio…please..it’s…not very late…being loud is out of the question…y-you know that…it’s too risky…I don’t mind retiring to your room….but…p-please, we have to show some restraint…
[Dio was honestly disappointed...it was apparent he had not completely tamed her quite yet. It was tragic...he really was hoping to have another romp before feeding from her.
Dio took her hand and nodded with a smile.]
I understand. Come to my room. We can spend the night together again.
